Transfer sales plan to md61

Dear Experts,
In my Scenario Sales Deptt. Update sales Scheduling Agreement in SAP By VA31 and then MRP is running & creating Planned orders .
Now We wants to change our Process ,
NOW Before MRP Run we wants to transfer Sales schedule to Demand management MD61 , Where we can manually change Production plan which is not equal to Sales delivery schedule .
To copy sales schedule , I am doing Edit > Copy Requirement > Sales Plan > Total sales
Here system do not copy plan and shows below given error
u201C No production plan exists for product group XYZ u201C
Please let me know that how to copy sales schedules in Demand management (MD61) .

???? VA01 and VA31 are not plans, they are sales documents (execution). If your question is 'does SAP support a direct copy from sales documents (such as sales scheduling agreements) to planned independent requirements, the answer is no. It would make no sense. Sales documents usually consume planned independent requirements, depending upon your planning strategy.
If you want your production plan to be increased, for the reason of planned scrap/yield loss, you normally enter that yield loss quantity in one of the scrap or yield fields in either the Material Master, or in the Bill of Materials (depending upon your planning methods). In this way, every time MRP suggests a supply order (planned order), it will suggest quantities large enough to cover planned yield loss. It is normally considered a waste of time to have a planner manipulate these types of numbers manually for each iteration of the production plan.

If your yield is totally unpredictable (according to your statements, this is not the case), then you would also consider using one of the standard planning tools (like Safety stock) to create some buffer stock.
Demand plans are usually not created for the sole purpose of accommodating yield issues. The most common reason to create a demand plan is to provide an orderly way to plan the entire supply chain in the most efficient manner. This is especially important when your customers demand a lead time that is longer than the total time to procure all raw materials and build all subassemblies for your finished goods.

The transfer of sales plans into CO-PA

At the present time sales plans are created in the several info-structures. There is only the one unit of measure in the each info-structure (for example: mt, meter and others). Further, the number of different units of measure for selling products will increase only, especially for services. It leads to the fact where we have to create new info-structures and have to implement additional customizes and create a new chain for the transfer of data into CO-PA each time a new unit of measure arises. Also it makes more comprehensive the process of the sales plans transfer for the End Users.
We think that it is logically to create the info-structure, to collect there all kinds of units of measure and transfer the data into CO-PA by the one action. Practically we cannot to do it because we have to enter the one base unit of measure into characteristic and key figures customize area (MC7F). And after transferring sales plans into CO-PA all data are reflected in that base unit of measure, although initial data were in the different units of measure.
Also our attempt to transfer units of measure as additional characteristic was fault. In that case the system gave us an error when we were trying to create a task for transfer.
Is there a solution of above problem?

Are you using Costing based, Accounting based or both of them?
We are already tried to use enhancement COPA0005 but this produces a duplication of segments and a different values of characteristics between what is posted from FI documents and what is posted on COPA document; this situation is not acceptable by client.
Concerning to enhancement COPA0001 i don't know which table i have to refer to for obtaining number of sales order, since accounting document (BKPF) and material document (MKPF) are not yet posted so far. Could you please give me this information?

Transfer of aggregated sales plan

Hi Experts,
I have a flexible planning scenario as follows.
I am having depots and sales plan will happen at this plant level. Once the planning is done I need to transfer the aggregated sales figures of all the depots at material level to production plant directly. And the sales should not be transfered to the depot plant level as we need to have consumption based MRP at depot.
So how can we transfer the aggregated sales figures to a particular plant. I tried to create a info structure and tried to include plant and planning plant as characteristics.
But system is not allowing to create planning hierarchy as there are two plants in the structure. Please share your thoughts on how to do this.

How to transfer sales bom from SAP R/3 to APO?

Hi Experts,
I just want to ask how to transfer sales bom from R/3 to APO? if i change my bom usage to 5 and use this BOM in my Production version be enough to send it to APO?
Also, this is my first time using sales bom, could you please help me understand how sales bom work in APO planning?

Thanks again for your reply. I was trying to CIF sales BOM in APO but only the header material are being created in APO. The component are not added in PDS. This is how I create it in SAP R/3:
1. transaction cs01 --> enter header material, plant and BOM USAGE =5
2. inside cs01, i entered components, quantity for each components and ITEM category = L (stock item)
i also eneterd base quantity for header material
3. create production version for header material with routing and this BOM
4. create and activate material CIF model for header and components
5. create and activate PDS CIF model for header and components.
After doing all these steps, PDS is created in APO but I only have the header material (no components)
I tried changing BOM to other bom usage and components were populated in PDS.
Am i missing nay steps? Thanks.

Update COPA Sales Planning with LIS informations

Dear all,
I´d like to know if it´s possible to update the COPA planning with the information in the LIS tables.
My company already introduced the Sales Planning in the LIS system and now it´s required to reply this information in COPA tables. Of course, it´s possible to do it directly in COPA using the plannification tools, however I´ve reading that it´s possible to transfer data from LIS to COPA directly with a short customizing task.
Please, could you inform me about this process?

Hi,
You can transfer actual data from LIS to CO-PA using mass processing (MC8G).
1. For a mass processing job, make sure you run the 3 steps in the attached note 90292. Program RMCAMUS6 updates the LISPLF table with the PLOBJs (planning objects) of items to be processed. If this job is not run, table LISPLF is empty and you will get error MA367.
2. Make sure you have specified future and historical periods in your planning type (MC8B).
3. Make sure you have data in the infostructure and materials in the characteristics.
There is also additional information that could be interesting for you in the notes 80881 and 156972.

I am implementing Forecast based MRP, is there any way to export Sales forescat excel sheet, insteaded of entering the forecast values in material master, we are neary 30 products. Entering one by one is a big process, laready they have sales plan in excel sheet, pl let meknow how can i export the sales plan excel sheet to the Forecast values and execute the forecast.

please follow below process to uplaod external data:
You use this program to transfer forecast values from external systems to your SAP system. The program works as follows:
1. The program searches for the material/plant combination defined for external forecast.
2. Using user exit EXIT_SAPLMPR1_002, you can set a filter on the materials to be forecast externally.
3. The program calls user exit EXIT_SAPLMPR1_001 and transfers information on the materials to be forecast.
4. The user exit must have the forecast values from the external system at its disposal.
5. After the user exit is run, the forecast values are posted in the SAP system.
you will need to sue custome logic to upload the excel sheet may be using GUI_UPLOAD functyion module in above user exit.

Sales planning through MRP

It is not exactly clear for me what do you mean by sales tentative plan.
You may consider using Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) and then transfer data to demand management.
Take a look on the following document for more details:

In some cases, it is not necessary to use SOP and you can input your sales plan directly on demand management.

Error in uploading Sales plan in APO

Dear experts,
User is trying to upload the sales plan in /SAPAPO/SDP94 transaction.
After selecting the file when we click on "CHECK" ,System is throwing an error message that "call screen (not modal) in dialog box not allowed"
please find the screen shots for reference.
Kindly let me know if anybody has faced this kind of issue before,and help me how to rectify it.

LIFA maybe deprecated but it still has usefulness and some prefer it over LINX for various reasons. But yeah new projects should seriously consider moving to LINX.
That being said if you are using an Uno or a Mega I've already compiled the binary and can upload it using this tool.

Sales Planning

Hi friends,
I need your help with the following issue:
The client requirement is to register in SAP a Sales Plan, based on the quantities they expect to sell during the planning period, they want to plan quantities as well as sales revenues. I can plan sales revenues using Profit Center Accounting but I dont know in which module I could plan quantities.

COPA Sales Planning issue

Hi,
We are uploading COPA sales planning price and quantity to derive the Revenue.
Revenue = sales planning price * quantity
Currency = USD (as default 2 decimal places)
In Excel file we maintained planning price = USD 1.561 and Sales Quantity = 50000.
The expected results in KEPM after upload is = 1.561 x 50000 = 78050.
Once uploaded the results in KEPM shows:
Planning price = USD 1.560 & Quantity = 50000
The results is = 78000.
FYI - the planning layout is Integrated Excel and field for Sales Planning Price have been set to 3 decimals.
This have caused differences in reporting. Is there a way to make SAP calculation accept 3 decimals instead of 2 decimals.

KEPM will display the currency decimal places based on settings in table TCURX. In this case, only 2 decimal places allowed for USD even though the planning layout have been set to >2.

Data transfer from planning to ASO.

Hi,
Like that:
Data load in Planning, and data retrieve in ASO. And we want a real time data transfer from Planning to ASO.
Transparent partition from BSO to ASO is a choice, but the performance is an issue.
If we user replicated partition, data cannot be transferred to ASO instantly, since there is a step to replicate data to ASO.
And for Map Reporting Application in Planning, we got the mapping issue, since there are some dimension members totally different between Planning and ASO.
So, can anyone help to show other ways to do that?

iTunes does transfer files like pictures, music, video, and I believe under the apps section it should transfer specific app files too.
otherwise I don't know. I tried to get my ipad to link to my computer with bluetooth (it saiys it is linked now) but when I try to transfer a file or browse the device it won't work.... I dunno!

Sales order item Qty check with sale plan qty

Dear all
How its poosible - While creating sales orer system should check sales order item qty, delivery date    with sales plan qty for that period. If total sales order requirement qty greater than sales plan qty then system should give error msg. System not consider stock & inward / outward mvt . only check plan qty.
in details
1> Create Weekly sales plan   - w.r.t Material & Plant   - ( T code u2013 MC87 )
Eg .   Material - FG001   , Plant 1001 ,   Week 11.2011 - 2000 Kg
2> Now creating sales order . system check sales order item qty & plan qty as per delivery date or week
Eg . i> Sales order no. 1 - delivery week u2013 W 11.2011   , item u2013 FG001 ; Plant u2013 1001 ; Qty u2013 1500 kg
Requirement : System check u2013 delivery week u2013 11 according to that sales plan qty for that material & plant is 2000 kg ;
total actual Sales order qty = 1500 kg . so condition is fulfill system allow to create sales order.
Eg. ii> Sales order no. 2 u2013 Delivery week u2013 11.2001 , item u2013 FG001 ; Plant u2013 1001 ; Qty u2013 1000 kg
Requirement : System check u2013 delivery week u2013 11 according to that sales plan qty for that material & plant is 2000 kg ; total actual Sales order qty = 1500 + 1000kg =2500 kg . so condition is failed , ( sales requirement qty > sales plan qty ) system should not allow to create sales order, gives error msg.

I have made something like that, to replace the defaut Check by one that check purchase order shipping date.. Here is a exemple code for trapping :
You must place it in SBO_Application_ItemEvent

Getting error while doing sales planning in COPA

What Happned?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLKEAB" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW', was not caught in
procedure "GET_WEIGHT_AND_VOLUME" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
When attempting to convert the value "1.12036e+12", an overflow occurred.
As i m getting the ABAP Error while making the sales planning for Finished Product

My guess - because I don't know your system - is the system is looking for one particular type of value, but is being fed a different one. While trying to convert, the value foes into data overflow.
Check:
1. If the planning is in Alternative Units of measure and this alternative is well defined in the material master.
2. If a standard conversion routine has been assigned to any of the values and the conversion routine is not consistent with the data type / data element.
3. Check your upload file / data. Is there a column defined there that should contain data of a specific type (decimals, or number formats, etc.) but is not the case.
4. If all else fails, you need an ABAPer to decode the error for you.
