    Here’s my question,
I have a new HP Photosmart 7520e all in one. I put my memory card in the slot but the printer screen does not show my computer as a destination option.  I'm using Windows 7.  Nothing at the computer end acknowledges that the card is in the printer slot. The computer is wireless hook up. How do I transfer pictures from the card to the computer?
Thanks support team. My old HP Printer pooped out on me and I just got this new one hooked up. I have a card full of pictures I need to move into “My Pictures” but so far, my new HP doesn’t want me to. Stainless909

My computer does NOT have a card slot or I would have use it to start with. Next: This sentence doesn't make any sense to me. (youyr answer) "You can map the card to network drive but why you have to do that hard ?"  I don't understand "maping net works".
All my previous (4) HP printers had card slots (as this one does) but when I put my card in the computer would read it and ask me if I  was ready to import them and I picked the destination ... click on "import" and it happened. This one.. nothing happens on the computer but the printer screen gives me a choice of destinations (snapfish & usb cord) but does not offer an option of moving them to the computer. Are you not understanding my problem????  Would this be better resolved with a phone call? 951 769-8420 Thanks Bruce aka... Stainless909

  • Transferring pictures from ipod to the computer

I recently got an ipod in Australia and all my pictures were put on from the computer there. I can't seem to open my pictures now from my computer at home. When I click on the photos folder from my ipod, only the "thumbs" folder and "photo database" are in there but I cannot open them in any program to see the pictures.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you.

  • Transferring pictures from ipad2 to new computer!

I have a iPad2 that I have had since August. I recently lost everything on my pc cause my hard drive got fried. I have a lot of pictures on my iPad that I lost on my hard drive and I want to transfer them back onto my new pc. When I plug iPad into compuer it asks right away about opening my pics and videos in windows media player but the only ones that transfer are the pics I took with the iPad (photo booth) and ones I put on iPad from a camera connection kit. None of the pics that I transferred from my old pc will transfer from iPad to new pc. Please any suggestions would be appreciated. I want to back up everything on my iPad cause the back facing camera doesnt work and looks like I will be needing a new one! I really need to save those pictures that don't seem to want to transfer! Thanks for your help!

I have never used this but it is suppose to be pretty good stuff according to what I have read here from other users.

  • Transfering pictures, ringtones, etc. from a computer to a LG Revere .

Is it possible to do this?  If so, how would I go about it?

Just got this LG Revere from Verizon for my wife who just wanted a plain jane phone.  Connected it to my computer to figure how to up/download pictures.  Windows 7 wanted a driver and helpfully pointed me to the download.  Downloaded and installed to find it's a *modem* driver, not a USB mass storage device driver.  Grrr.
The manual (*not* included with the phone, only found by Google) lists an entry for the USB mass storage device setting in the Table of Contents (chapter 3.12) but the actual instructions only go to chapter 3.10.  Again Grrrr.  And the phone doesn't have a matching entry under the tools menu.  My guess is Verizon deliberately disabled that function.  :-(  Strike One.
The LG web site has a USB Driver and a "LG Mobile support tool."  Installed them, the LG tool said to install the "Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant"  Windows installed three drivers, but still no USB mass storage device.  A 'LGE CDMA Composite USB Device' does appear in the Windows Device Manager but no drive in 'My Computer'.  Didn't do any upgrading or changing of the phone, it's brand new.  BitPim failed to start after installation, MSVCP71.dll not found, even though that file was in the BitPim program folder.  Uninstalled everything (Revouninstaller is great!) and even considered system restore - I like my system clean.  Strike Two.
I have a Bluetooth dongle for the desktop, so installed that and paired the phone with it.  Finally getting some where - the phone has a 'send to Bluetooth' option in the pictures menu, and that works to copy/send one or more pictures to a folder on the PC.  The Bluetooth support in Win7 also has operations to 'Browse and Transfer files' which also worked from the PC, and thankfully that way is bidirectional.  The browser shows just two folders on the phone: Pictures and Sounds.  The Win7 operation, 'Send files to remote device' didn't work - or at least I can't find anything I sent on the phone.  Call this a clean double, but could be much better.
Bottom line:  use Bluetooth to transfer pictures to/from phone.  Verizon makes much harder than necessary because they apparently have disabled the LG function 'USB Mass Storage Device.'  Maybe there is some hidden service menu that enables it, but I've not been able to find it.  A potential reason for Verizon to disable this function is to stop users from futzing with the phone internals.  Still no score, but the game is still on.

  • So I had pictures in an album called photo library and when i backed up my iphone to my computer, the pictures disappeared from my phone. They were pictures that had originally been transferred from my blackberry to my iphone

I had pictures that I transferred from my blackberry to my iphone and they were in an album labeled photo library. my phone needed to be replaced so I backed it up to my computer and now my photos are gone. The camera roll pictures are still there but my 800 photos from my blackberry are gone. does anyone know where i can recover them from? are they gone forever? any help would be much appreciated. thank you

I transferred my photos (I cant recall how i did) from my old blackberry to my new iphone.
    Okay.
i also imported the photos to iphoto but it was only the pictures from the last six months (camera roll).
    Okay.
I dunno if this information is useful but the photos im trying to recover were in an album called photo library and they were permanent and couldnt be edited or deleted on the iphone.
These photos were never on your Mac. iPhoto only imports from the Camera Roll. You'd have needed to use a 3rd party app to get any other photos from your phone.

  • LG Octane transferring pictures to computer

I've been reading everyone's postings on transferring pictures from phone to computer.  My SD card card was already in my phone when I left the verizon dealer so I don't know is its formatted.  When I connect the usb cord to phone and computer I get a phone message of "connection failed", "check connection".  I have, repeatedly.  Please help me.   I'm really a novice.  Thanks.

    Hello joan777,
I understand your frustrations and I would like to help get your pictures transferred from the phone to your computer.  Do other USB devices work in the computer? Are you using a PC or a Mac? Unfortunately, the Octane is not compatible with Mac OS. Before hooking the USB into the computer you will need to active the USB Mass Storage mode.
    Press Menu
    Choose Settings and Tools
    Choose USB Mass Storage
    Select ON
Connect the phone to your PC using the USB cable
Drag the phone file to transfer and
drop it in a pre-selected PC directory.
If the device will still not connect you do have the option of inserting the memory card into a card reader.  I would be happy to continue troubleshooting with you, if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • I transferred pictures from my computer to my iPhone 5c and would like to transfer them back onto my computer. Is there any way to do this? I've tried everything I can think of, I'm new to the iPhone community.

I had to reformat my computer and the easiest way I had at the moment to save my photos was to just tranfer them to my phone. I guess I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to transfer them back to my computer. I've never had an iPhone and my last phone, I was able to tranfer them back and forth and delete which ever ones I wanted to. I'm just looking for anyway to save my photos back to my computer, but I would love if it was easy! Thanks!

He can select the pictures and share them with himself, which will put them in his shared album on his computer under pictures and icloud pictures. So they will then be in the shared folder under Pictures<iCloud Photos on his computer.

  • 60GB Ipod Video, computer is very slow at transfering pictures

    Hello
I recently purchase a new sony laptop with Vista OS. Itunes takes a long time just to transfer 6 pictures (20 min) and then the computer will eventually crash. Even if i need to copy a picture into album artwork, the computer freezes for a minute and then is back to working. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions?
I have the newest itunes version.
    Thank you

I suggest that you also post this on a windows vista forum.

  • Moving music from my BLACKBERRY to my COMPUTER

Hey there folks, this might be a new one.
First of all, hello from an Android user! I own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and I actually posting on behalf of my father, who is the proud owner of a Bold 9930.
We have a current perdicament that we have been unable to solve using this software, and I am desperately hoping we are both being stupid. The program and the device are both working fine, and we have already transfered pictures back and forth, but for the life of me, I cannot find out where the heck I can transfer music from the device. I can only sync music from the computer to the Device.
Now, before you say "Oh, just go through windows explorer!", there is a catch. The music we want to move is on the Micro SD card, and not the device itself. The sync manager doesn't even seem to give the option to move music from the device in the first place, much less the SD Card!
I'd prefer to do this process without taking the micro SD card out and spending the money to get an adapter so it can go into the regular SD slot of my laptop. Is this possible?
Thanks so much for the help!

  • I downloaded pictures onto my iPhone from computer twice by mistake now when i uncheck/sync then check and sync again  i keep getting two lots of pics..how can i get just the one set again? thnx

I downloaded pictures onto my iPhone from computer twice by mistake now when i uncheck/sync then check and sync again  i keep getting two lots of pics..how can i get just the one set again? thnx

    You're welcome.
All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library regardless if you select a single album or folder of photos to be transferred or multiple albums or folders. The photos on the albums or folders of photos include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos are not duplicated taking up double the storage space. This way you can view the photos in an album or folder of photos only by selecting the album or folder, or all photos in all albums or folders by selecting Photo Library.
Makes more sense when transferring multiple albums or folders of photos which cannot be changed when transferring only a single album or folder of photos.
The same applies with iTunes and music playlists. A song can't be in a playlist unless it is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song.

  • How do I remove pictures in the photo library from my iphone 5? I have a MacBook Air and have transferred pictures to iphoto.

How do I remove pictures in the photo library on my iphone 5?  I need the space to download iOS 7.0.2. I have a MacBook Air and have transferred  pictures from my iphone to iphoto.

Photos in the ?Camera Roll can be deleted by tapping on Select, then selecting the photos to be deleted and finally tapping on Trash.
Photos in albums that were copied to the device by syncing with your computer running iTunes are deleted by syncing again. But before clicking on Apply or Sync deselect the no long wanted albums in iTunes. Finally click on Apply.

  • Issues transferring pictures from iPhone 6 to PSE 8

    Hi!
I Have PSE 8 for many years and never had an issue transferring pictures from my cellphone to PSE 8 until I upgraded a month ago to PSE 13. I didn't like this new version so I contacted customer service to cancell the recent upgrade. Then, I went bank to my PSE 8 and I can't transfer pictures from my iPhone to PSE 8. The USB works and I use windows.
    Thanks!

I usually see this error reported when the iPhone connected has not been unlocked prior to being connected. Disconnect the phone from the computer. Unlock the phone with the passcode and make sure it is "awake" when you connect it to the computer. This seems to be a quirk under Windows 8.
