Transferring a Node with multiple elements

Hi there, Just want to ask the experts out there am I doing the right coding to transfer all elements of a node to another node? Thanks for your guidance!
     for (int n =0; n < wdContext.nodeItem().size();n++) {
          IPublicDemoWSController.ISa_Item3Element ele = wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().currentSa_Item3Element();
          ele.setEMESS(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("EMESS").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setITM_NUMBER(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("ITM_NUMBER").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setKUNAG(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("KUNAG").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setKUNRE(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("KUNRE").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setKUNRG(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("KUNRG").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setKUNVE(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("KUNVE").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setKUNWE(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("KUNWE").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setMATERIAL(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("MATERIAL").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setPLANT(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("PLANT").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setREF_1(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("REF_1").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setSALES_UNIT(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("SALES_UNIT").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setSHORT_TEXT(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("SHORT_TEXT").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setSTORE_LOC(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("STORE_LOC").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setTARGET_QTY(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("TARGET_QTY").toString());
          wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element().setTARGET_QU(wdContext.nodeItem().getElementAt(n).getAttributeValue("TARGET_QU").toString());
          wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().addElement(wdContext.currentSa_Item3Element());

Hey guys this is the summary of what I am doing so far:
Hi, I am hoping to get some help on this. I am trying to transfer element values from one model Node to another model Node. It sounds simple but maybe I am not really sure of the working of nodes and elements and it is giving me some trouble.
I have bind the model to the context:
          Request_Sa_Change request15 = new Request_Sa_Change(model4);
          Sa_Change sachange = new Sa_Change(model4);
          Sa_Header saheader2 = new Sa_Header(model4);
          Sa_Item saitem2 = new Sa_Item(model4);
          ArrayOfSa_Item arrayItem = new ArrayOfSa_Item(model4);
          arrayItem.addSa_Item(saitem2);
          sachange.setHeader(saheader2);
          sachange.setItem(arrayItem);
          request15.setSa_Change(sachange);
          wdContext.nodeRequest_Sa_Change().bind(request15);
Therefore there is already an element being initiated, so I have to set values into this created element before I can create a new one for the next element of values.
From my experiment with the codes below, I find that EVEN after I create and added a new Element into the node, the CurrentNode is still holding the same value of the previous element I create.
This lead me to believe that this is the reason after I execute the model, I got the error "ItemNum is Missing".
     for (int n = 0; n < wdContext.nodeSa_Item().size(); n++) {
                    DemoWSOrder model = new DemoWSOrder();
                    Sa_Item item = new Sa_Item(model);
                    IPublicDemoWSController.ISa_Item3Element ele =
                         (IPublicDemoWSController.ISa_Item3Element) wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().currentSa_Item3Element();
                    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("" + wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().currentSa_Item3Element().getITM_NUMBER(), true);
                    ele.setEMESS(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getEMESS());
                    ele.setITM_NUMBER(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getITM_NUMBER());
                    ele.setKUNAG(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getKUNAG());
                    ele.setKUNRE(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getKUNRE());
                    ele.setKUNRG(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getKUNRG());
                    ele.setKUNVE(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getKUNVE());
                    ele.setKUNWE(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getKUNWE());
                    ele.setMATERIAL(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getMATERIAL());
                    ele.setPLANT(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getPLANT());
                    ele.setREF_1(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getREF_1());
                    ele.setSALES_UNIT(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getSALES_UNIT());
                    ele.setSHORT_TEXT(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getSHORT_TEXT());
                    ele.setSTORE_LOC(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getSTORE_LOC());
                    ele.setTARGET_QTY(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getTARGET_QTY());
                    ele.setTARGET_QU(wdContext.nodeSa_Item().getSa_ItemElementAt(n).getTARGET_QU());
                    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("" + wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().currentSa_Item3Element().getITM_NUMBER(), true);
                    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("before create: " + wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().size(), true);
                    IPublicDemoWSController.ISa_Item3Element ele2 = (IPublicDemoWSController.ISa_Item3Element) wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().createSa_Item3Element(item);
                    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("after create: " + wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().size(), true);
                    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("" + wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().currentSa_Item3Element().getITM_NUMBER(), true);
                    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("before add: " + wdContext.nodeSa_Item3().size(), true);

  • Analysis Authorization based on Hier node with multiple display hierarchies

    Hi guys - I've got a problem where s.o. might have an idea of how to switch on the light at the end of the tunnel, I am currently standing in:
    Requirement:
    Cost Center Authorization should be given through RSECADMIN, reporting should be possible for any hierarchy that exists for the authorization relevant info object.
    Preferred solution:
    The Cost Center Analysis Authorization should be given through RSECADMIN - Hierarchy node assignment.
    u2022     A dedicated Authorization Cost Center Hierarchy will be maintained in ECC6 as an alternative cost center hierarchy and extracted into BW.
    u2022     The RSECADMIN Hierarchy node assignment should be based on a particular node (Type 2).
    u2022     The display level will be specified as required (here: Level 7)
    u2022     The Authorization granted should be independent of hierarchy name and version (validity 3).
    Reporting Scenario and technical impact:
    As mentioned above, when designing and running a query the user should be able to freely select other (i.e. than the authorization) display hierarchies for the authorization relevant reporting object 'Cost Center' as well. The technical names of the semantically relevant hierarchy nodes could therefore vary. E.g. cost centers 1, 2 and 3, being assigned under hierarchy node u2018Au2019 of the RSECADMIN relevant authorization hierarchy, could be subsumed by hierarchy node u2018Bu2019 in another display hierarchy, which the user may want to display in accordance to his reporting needs. Ideally, the alternative display hierarchy should therefore display node u2018Bu2019.
    My findings so far (based on prototyping) turn out that this is not possible as long u2018Bu2019 (and its hierarchy) is not authorized in RSECADMIN. Can these findings be confirmed? And if not, would anyone have an idea of how to facilitate the reporting scenario?
    Would there be any other way to grant access, possibly based on RSECADMIN single values, and also enable the user to flexibly display hierarchies with only those hierarchy nodes whose single cost center values the user has been given access to?
    Thanks everyone for your input...

    HI CLause,
    On Jul 14 2009, you wrote in SDN and said:
    FYI: Found a solution...
    The hierarchy analysis authorization will be based on a navigational attribute of cost center.
    With analysis authorizations it is possible to declare the Auth object (e.g. 0COSTCENTER__RACCAUT0) as authorization relevant and leave the superior object 0COSTCENTER auth irrelevant.
    The auth will be given for 0COSTCENTER__RACCAUT0. This object will be placed as a filter of the query, being restricted by an Authorization variable for hierarchy nodes.
    Due to the concept of Analysis Authorizations, this variable will automatically pick up the nodes granted as part of RSECADMIN Hierarchy based Authorization.
    As mentioned above, 0COSTCENTER as the regular reporting characteristic remains auth irrelevant and can therefore take any hierarchy thatu2019s available. Reporting on single values will be possible, too. Only those nodes show up that hold the authorized cost centers in accordance to the authorization.
    If the auth relevant 0COSTCENTER__RACCAUT0 is not used in the query definition by either not taking it in as a filter or skipping the Auth variable, the query will launch the message that the authorization is missing. No data show up at all.

    I am also in the same situation as you and need to understadn your solution. I understand that you created a Nav Attr on 0COSTCENTER and made this auth relevant whilst ensuring that 0COSTCENTER is NOT auth relevant. This is all fine. The issue was you have multiple hierachies for 0COSTCENTER, how did the new Nav Attr help you solve your issue. When loading 0COSTCENTER what values did you load ino the new Nav Attribute and how did that link to the hierachies? Also, in RSECADMIN you created hiearchy nodes based on the Nav Attribute but I am confused as to what values you have in the Nav Attr.
    I appreciate if you can share your solution from the past in more details.
    many thanks

    Hi Michael,
    could you provide much more details about the source and target structures and the mappings you need to define?
    Something like :
    Source:
    Country (single or multiple? )
    ..Country (single or multiple? )
    ..Code (single or multiple? )
    Target
    Country (single or multiple? )  --> does it have the same type as the source node?
    In general If you try to assign a list of values to target which accepts single value you are most likely to get exception like the one given in your post.
    In other words let's assume :
    Country[]     Country
    ..Country------>Country
    ..Code
    this will throw exception at runtime in most of the cases.
    The reason is that the result of select Country/Country is a list with all Countries. And then the engine will try to assign this list to the single valued target node.
    Is this what you have described or it si something different?
    BTW for the example above there is a fix in SP1 and such kind of mappings are marked as erroneous.
    Best Regards,
    Boris

  • Endless loop when clicking on ADF TreeTable Node with multiple Parents

    Using Jdev 11.1.2.2.0.
    I have been using the ADF Tree Table to render a parent/child relationship table(using EO's and VO's); this table allows a child node to have many parents. I've followed the example from Code Corner #32 "How to create a tree table from a single View Object and how to access selected rows" but my example is a little different. I have a Hierarchy Table that lists it's TopNode and then I have a Relationship (parent/child) table that includes the relationships for that hierarchy. I've created the ViewLinks between the Hierarchy VO and the Relationship VO and everything shows up fine in the ADF BC Tester.
    The tables look like the following (Note: the node 5 has multiple parents (4&3)
    Hierarchy Table:
    ID NAME TOPNODEID
    1 HIER1 1
    PARENTCHILDTABLE
    PARENT_ID CHILD_ID
    1 2
    1 3
    2 4
    4 5
    3 5
    -1 1
    The View Links I have setup are the (TopNodeID to ChildID... 1 to 1) as well as the (Child_Id to Parent_ID.. 1 to *).
    I added a tree table to a jsf page; I setup the bindings correctly with the Hierarchy vo as the top level object and the relationship VO as the parent/child (self referencing) table.
    However, when I start expanding some of the nodes at runtime in the JSF page and when I click on the child 5 an hour glass appears and it seems to be in an endless loop. Has anyone seen this before or anyone know why this gets into an endless loop.

    No exceptions occur but I was able to turn on logging (oracle.adf*) and this shows up. This is only a portion of what gets logged as it seems to log the same thing over and over while in the endless loop. The loop is intermittent too; it doesn't occur all the time. It seems to occur when I click on one of the duplicate nodes OR try to expand one of the duplicate nodes and/or one of their parents.

  • Web services with multiple elements in the results

    We are using ASP.Net and LiveCycle Forms with LiveCycle Designer 7.0. LiveCycle forms is running on JBOSS (turnkey installation). Our problem is that if the web service returns multiple results e.g.
          £12.99
          Widget
          £0.99
          Grommett
    The form does not grow to accommodate the extra results. Has anyone had any experience of this issue. Adobe say it can be done but so far we have had no luck.

  • Hashtable with multiple elements

    I'm trying to store multiple Strings under 1 hash key in my hashtable.
    Ie for "key1", I need to store "apple", "ape", "ant"
    I've tried reading up on collections with no luck (no Java guru here)
    Is there a way this can be acheived?

    Just put a List as the entry in the map, and add the values to that list.

  • GAAP ETIF 00-21 Multiple Element Arrangements

    Does anyone out there have any experience with GAAP invoice and revenue recognition rule EITF 00-21, dealing with Multiple Element Arrangements?
    This is the scenario where a contract or sales orders includes support or service that is packaged with a product, therefore customer sees its price as $0; however, when is comes to revenue recognition, vendor needs to account for the revenue according to the typical price for the support or service and percentage of the total contract or sales order.
    This would be something that is imlpemented in Advance Pricing, Order Management and AR.
    Thanks!!

    The problem was that I have 10.10.1 installed, and the system profiler confirms that.  I updated on the day of 10.10.1 release.  Despite that, I got the above message.  However, after uninstalling the previous symantec product as suggested by Eric, I no longer get that message.
    I just found out many Yosemite users that have Comcast Xfinity and use the Norton Security Suite provided by Comcast have been having the same problem since upgrading to Yosemite.  I checked with Norton today, and they now have provided Comcast with an updated version for Yosemite users [v5.7].
    Apparently for all of us who had the Comcast-Norton Security product installed prior to upgrading to Yosemite, you have to uninstall Symantec products as Eric Root so kindly suggested and provided the link for, then reinstall the new product and run the update.

  • HI Can I add a child node to an Element Node with a name that  exists

    HI,
    Can I add a child node to an Element Node with a name that is already existing in the Element Node.
    Let me explain what I need exactly.
    My Existing element Node looks like this:
    <form>
    <name>
    <FirstName></FirstName>
    <LastName></LastName>
    </name>
    </form>
    Can I add another child node with hte name 'FirstName' to the 'name' node ..?
    I want to put a attribute rvsn with a value 1 for the original 'FirstName' element Node.
    so the new Element Node should look like the foloowing:
    <form>
    <name>
    <FirstName rvsn="1"></FirstName>
    <FirstName></FirstName>
    <LastName></LastName>
    </name>
    </form>
    Hopefully this is valid XML !!
    when I tried to use appendChild, it removed the previous node and put the new one. Thats what is the documentation also said.. I read it after I tried it :(
    Anyway, ther should be another way to add a node like that.
    Any hints, ideas will be of great help.
    -Thanks in advance !!

  • Premiere Elements 9 crashes with multiple NVIDIA graphics cards under Windows 7

    I've just installed Premiere Elements 9 and found that it will not run at all with multiple NVIDIA graphics cards active under Windows 7.  Per all the other discussions, I updated the NVIDIA drivers and Quicktime support to the latest versions.  (NVIDIA version 260.99).  I have both a 9400 GT and an 8400 GS installed, to support multiple monitors.  They both use the same driver.  The PRE 9 organizer will run, but as soon as I create or load a project it quickly crashes.
    On a long shot I disabled the 8400 GS card in the Device Manager and now I can run PRE 9.  Of course this means giving up one of my monitors.  Any other ideas?

    Over in the Premiere Pro area (or maybe it was in the Hardware section... didn't pay a lot of attention 'cause it really didn't matter to me) I read a message about using two nVidia cards with no problems (other than no dual-card SLI support)
    I **think** that was with two SAME model nVidia cards
    And, of course, PPro is completely different code, so PreEl may simply not work with two nVidia cards

  • JNDI Lookup for multiple server instances with multiple cluster nodes

    Hi Experts,
    I need help with retreiving log files for multiple server instances with multiple cluster nodes. The system is Netweaver 7.01.
    There are 3 server instances all instances with 3 cluster nodes.
    There are EJB session beans deployed on them to retreive the log information for each server node.
    In the session bean there is a method:
    public List getServers() {
      List servers = new ArrayList();
      ClassLoader saveLoader = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader();
      try {
       Properties prop = new Properties();

    Thanks for the response.
    I was afraid that it would be something like that although
    was hoping for
    something closer to the application pools we use with IIS to
    isolate sites
    and limit the impact one badly behaving one can have on
    another.

  • Using the opmn:ormi protocol with multiple nodes

    Hi
    If I use the opmn:ormi protocol with multiple nodes, will it load balance between the nodes or will it simply try to connect to the first node and if it can't it will connect to the second node?.
    Instead of specifying multiple nodes can I set the host to point to a load balancer?
    Which solution is best?

  • Handeling mapping with multiple nodes

    Hi,
                We are doing an IDOC to SOAP scenario, in which we have multiple nodes in source structure. In destination structure we have one node having multiple occurences (1..99). We are trying to do the mapping in such a way that on the basis of no. of nodes at source side, nodes at destination side should be created.
                                  Any idea how to perform this mapping? Is it necessary to use BPM for this?

    1. Node 1 -> count ->
    2. Node 2 -> count ->
    3. Use ADD(std function) 1 and 2
    4. then after step 3 use UDF given below and then mapp to target node
    create advance UDF function and click on radio button "Queue".
    in the imports section enter java.lang.;java.util.;java.lang.reflect.;java.io.;
       //write your code here
    String e = a[0];
      int b = Integer.parseInt(e);
    for(int i=0;i<b;i++)
    result.addValue("1");
    result.addContextChange();
    This is working for me...
    suppose node1 occurs 3 times and node2 occurs 2 times the target node will occur 3 + 2 = 5 times
    Giving points is another way to say thanks

  • How to get multiple elements into one element as multiple occurences

    I can't figure out how to do this. I have an input message that has multiple elements and I need to take those elements and copy them into one element with each new element going in as a new occurence or instance. For example
    I have this input under one parent node.
    element1
    element2
    element3
    element4
    and this is the output I need
    Node
    Element1[0]
    Element2[1]
    Element3[2]
    Element4[3]
    The input XML looks like this
    Payload
    Element1
    Element2
    Element3
    and the output XML needs to look like this
    Payload
    Element.
    Thanks in advance

    How about this.
    Input XML:
    <Row>
              <Column1>TOTAL</Column1>
              <Column_9_2_2008>900</Column_9_2_2008>

  • How to create a table with multiple select on???

    Hi all,
            I am  new to webdynpro and my requirement is to create a  table with multiple selection on.I have to add abt 10 rows in the table but only 5 rows should be visible and moreover a verticalscroll should be available to view other rows.Can anybody explain me in detail how to do that.Please reply as if you are explaining  to a newcomer.Reply ASAP as i have to do it today.
                                                                           Thanxs

    Hi,
    1. Create a value node in your context name Table and set its cardinality to 0:n
    2. Create 2 value attributes within the Table node name value1 and value2
    3. Goto Outline view> Right click on TransparentUIContainer>Apply Template> Select Table>mark the node Table and it's attributes.
    you have created a table and binded its value to context
    Table UI properties
    4.Set Selection Mode to Multi
    5.Set Visible Row Count to 5
    6.ScrollableColCount to 5
    In your implemetaion, you can add values to table as follow:
    IPrivate<viewname>.ITableElement ele = wdContext.nodeTable().createTableElement();
    ele.setValue1(<value>);
    ele.setValue2(<value>);
    wdContext.nodeTable().addElement(ele);
    The above code will allow you to add elements to your table node.

    Murtuza
