I need to transport a logo(In Black&White) to test env. How do I do this ?

yes is possible
go to transaction OAER with
class name = 'your class name'
classtype = 'your class type'
object key = 'your object key'
execute program
set cursor on the picture that you want to transport then click on the last button on the gui status or press SHIFT+F12 or Document->transport.
now a popup appear for confirm the transport then u can create you Change Request.

Error while transporting LOGO to production

i have uploaded a logo using se78 , its displaying in smartform, issue is that when i am transporting this logo to production error code 4 comes up.

Hi,
Make sure you have included this logo in a transport request before transporting the changes to production system. The logo when created is not included in a transport request automatically and hence will recide in the system you have uploaded it in and will not move with your smartform changes.

Script LOGO Transport problem.

I have one LOGO ( z_logo ) in /nso10 in Development system.
When I transported my Script to Quality the LOGO was not there, hence not displaying ( displaying with blank ) .
How Can I transport my LOGO to Quality system ?

Since it is in so10 you can transport it using customizing request . Use the program RSTXTRAN to attach the so10 text to a custiomizing request .

I have uploaded logo(.bmp file) to sap via se78 in development server. I need to transport this logo to testing server. How can i include the logo under a request? so that i can move to testing.

In the same SE78 Transaction,on left hand side you will get some Transport Icon(Truck Symbol)
click on that for transport.

FORMATTING ERROR when executing smartform with message SSFcomposer 159

Hi all,
I have created a custom smartform.When i execute it in tcode SMARTFORMS,i get the error "FORMATTING ERROR" "GRAPHIC CANNOT BE DISPLAYED".
I have a image file(LOGO) which is used in this Smartform.However this problem is faced only in the QUALITY system.In DEV system,the Smartform works fine.

is the logo also in the QTY system.
Che the name of the logo, then go in transaction SE78 and check if the logo exist.
Otherwise, create a transaport (always from SE78 trx) and transport the logo in the other systems.

right click on form painter and include the graphic directly.
if logo is not existing in server use SE78 and upload the either .bmp or .tiff file and transport the logo into docuement server.

when u activate a smartform function module is created and as func tion module is independent u can say smartform is independent and as sap script is not possible in this way it it not independent.

synchronous update is nothing but upodating a bunch of recordds one after other asynchronous means updating the database without any order.
6.Differences between session and cal transaction method.
In session method a session is created and u have to explicitly run the session inorder to execute ur program and call transaction is a screen mode method which will be executed directly.
generally , session method is used for backgrnd and large amount of data update as it is asynchrounous.
we use cal transaction method for foregrnd and small amount of data update in synchrounous.

Transport Logo form One server to other

Hi all,
I want to transport my company logo form one application Server to Other Appl. Server
so that, i have created an object and imported the image file. But which Package should be selected? Earlier, i did $TMP. Since it is TMP im unable to Transport to other server. So what i have to select in the Package list? that package should support Transportation.

Hi Siva,
Logos are not transported. You need to create it in all systems individually.Transports cannot carry image files!! Although you know how to create logos but still for your reference this very popular link:

How to delete the Logo under any Transport Request?

Hi all,
I have one Logo in SE78. it is under one TR number. This TR already moved to QA.
Now i want to delete the Logo in Dev and saved in new TR or same TR number. then i will move the changes to QA.
I try to delete the Logo in DEV. it is not asking any new TR number. simply it is deleted. So how can i move the TR to QA

If deletion ask for a transport request, then you have no problem, the transport request will contain a "delete object" request. (Look at SE11, there is a flag for deletion in object list)
If deletion has not asked for a transport request, then when you have created you new request, add the deleted object to request (here two ways to perform it , there are others
- On SE03 (click on tool icon if on SE01) there is an option "Merge Object Lists "
- On SE01 there is an icon (icon ICON_INCLUDE_OBJECTS) to include object of another request(s) into yours.
Transporting the same request again and again should have absolutely no effect, as the object is saved into the request when releasing it. (saved in a binary format on a directory of the application server dedicated to transport)

Can not transport from DEV to PRD (Hang up)

Hi Experts,
Please help.. I have this problem, was not able to transport from Dev to Prod, it just hang up.. I've read a lot in web how to solve this problem and did the following:
   ==> Stop all TP running in OS level
   ==> Delete all pending job in Import Monitor (with truck logo)
   ==> and the last to be done is to delete the data from table TRBAT, but it took so long to delete the data in that table.. What I've noticed is that the data left in table TRBAT is the transport number wherein user was log-off during transport execution (as in the middle of the process)..
What should be the solution of this problem, as we can not proceed with the transport of our changes made in DEV system, as it just hang up in there.. and I'm also having this problem in deleteing data from TRBAT table.

Hi,
Its well known problem which is discussed many times in many threads.
Did you check TP System Log and TMS Alert of the System ?
Execute RSTPTEST report to check the STMS configuration. Also check the existence/status of RDDIMPDP Background Job.

Logo is not coming properly while mailing the script

m converting script output to pdf and sending as attachment... my pdf conatains LOGO.. when i received the mail,text is coming properly but LOGO is not getting printed properly..

Hi Sagar,
In scripts when you will see print preview the logo will be not shown up with clarity.Take the print out of the document and check whether logo is printing up with clarity.

My MacBook Pro is stuck on grey loading screen with apple logo and spinning wheel.

PLEASE HELP - Tried to start up my MacBook Pro and I get grey screen w/ apple logo & spinning wheel. It's stuck on this screen. Safe mode didn't help but reveled this: smc read key action error, BOOS key failed, BOPS key failed. Consider rebuild of prelinked kernal com.apple.kext triggers triggered rebuild. IOBluetooth host controller USB transport Suspend Device. I ran verifications/repairs in Disk Utilities, but nothing came back wrong on the reports. I'm a bit panicked, as I use this computer for work and have no other computer to use in the meantime. I should also note that I have very little technical knowledge, so if you can lend your help please keep that in mind when responding. I'd be over the moon if anyone can help.

How can i transfer logo data to application server

i am using sapscript in that i have logo i ma converting sapscript spool id to pdf and saving in application server.but logo is not transferres properly . when i remove logo its working properly. but when i add logo its not working.

You need to attach the Logo ( which is in the form of standard text ) to a transport request using the program RSTXTRAN.
for that your Tr. request should be a correction.
You need to goto SE10 and select the TR number and goto menu ->request/task->change type and change the type as correction.
Then you execute the program RSTXTRAN and give the details of the standard text. Then only your standard text will get attached to the request.
Then you need to transport this TR.

Upload Logo for REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE
For those who wish to upload and use a picture in your ALV abap reports.
Steps for uploading Logo :-:
1. Goto the transaction OAER
2. Enter the class name as 'PICTURES'
3. Enter the class type as 'OT'
4. Enter the object key as the name of the logo you wish to give
5. Execute
6. Then in the new screen select Standard doc. types in bottom window
Click on the Screen icon
Now, it will ask for the file path where you have to upload the logo
7. Now you can use this logo in REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE

Import Logo and Background Picture for Reporting
In this step, you can import a customer-specific logo and a background picture into the R/3 System. These will be displayed in the header area of reports in HR Funds and Position Management.
From the SPRO:
HR Funds and Position Management --> Dialog Control --> Customize Reporting Interface --> Import Logo and Background Picture for Reporting.
Activities
1. Enter the Name of your logo/background picture as an object key in the initial screen.
2. Make sure that the class name is PICTURES, and the class type is OT.
3. Choose Execute.
4. Double-click the document type Picture on the Create tab page. A dialog box will appear in which you can enter the path in which the logo/background picture can be found.
5. Enter the path and choose Open. The logo will be uploaded into the current R/3 System. If the logo/background picture is to be transported into other systems as well, choose Transport.
6. Return to the initial screen and repeat the procedure after having entered the Name of your background picture as an object key.
Please note that the logo/background picture can only be displayed in ALV-based reports with an HTML header. Manually programmed reports such as business distribution plans are not based on the ALV.
If you have selected several initial objects, ALV-based reports in HR Funds and Position Management will automatically use a hiearchical-sequential display. A logo is not displayed here either. Note also that the logo cannot be printed (see print preview in program).
Make sure that the logo does not exceed a height of 100 pixels because it would mean that the header of the report will be scrollable.
