Transport Request Implementation Log

Hi Gurus,
I have a Transport Request implemented in the production server.
I want to know by whom that TR was implemented. It's one of my TR and I know all the attributes related to it.
Only thing I want to know is who has implemented that TR in production server.
(Apologies!!! this is not something on ABAP)
Thank you.
TDW

Hello,
In production system transaction STMS_IMPORT; menu Go to -> Import History
Select the request and then menu Edit -> Display More; you will able to see user name (who has imported the request)
Thanks

    Hi,
Please refer to below mentioned thread which tells how to get creation date of unreleased transports (Table: E070CREATE). Still need to figure out for released transports.

  • Log for Addition/Deletion of object in a Transport Request

    Dear Friends,
Recently I had a issue where I tried deleting an object from a transport request and I got the message that object is deleted successfully.
But when the transport was imported then it failed with Sy-subrc 8 because of the same object in transport.  The reason for the same could be :
1.) Either the object was not deleted from the transport request.
2.) Or Some one else added the same object again in the request.
I want to read the log of this transport in such a way that I see when a object has been added/deleted from a transport request along with SAP User ID of the person doing it.
Is this possible ? If so kindly share the steps with me.
Thanks a Lot for your kind help!!! This is very important for me....
    Regards,
    Lalit

    Hello Lalit
I hope nothing of that sort is available as the transport requests will again have tasks under them.
The changes done to  the task will have to be tracked in that case but SAP doesn't have that task change logging as far as I know.
All E0* tables relates to transports and objects under these transports none of them have logs on this nor even any transactions which allow user to edit the transport object.
You get an action log which provides who created it and who releaed them.
But if you configure CharM on Solution manager I hope you can track each changes.

  • How to set at the server level to log transport request in SAP ME

    Hi:
when I do configuration in SAP ME, can I set at the system level to log for transport request ?
so I can  use transport request for other client or server.

    Hi!
There is no "transport request" in SAP ME, however, there is Configuration Data Transfer Export/Import activity which can export the data to ZIP file at the source site and then import that file at the destination site.
CDT activity can utilize CTS+ as a transport channel but I would suggest ZIP file instead because the file can be edited manually in case of any issue or if you want to remove some data.
For details, please consult this How-To Guide.

    hi,
I am looking forward to implement SAPKW70017, I  need to know the CONS of SP17, what was the reason which made you implement SP17, just to have updated Version of SP or did you face with any problems and decided to update the SP? what was the previous SP which you had,
We have problems in F4 search help when running queries, SAP asked us to implement latest which is SP17, but wanted to make sure what would be the CONS before we do it, we are having SP15 in BI 7.0
Please update the post for this.

  • Transport Request Confirmation in CHARM

    Dears,
I recently configured CHARM,Complted cycle of normal correction.
Now I logged on QAS and PRD not by solman but from them only  but i didn't find request in mport queue of these systems even if i from SE01 of dev,I am able to see that these transport requests have implemented.
Now as I am understanding as these transport requests were implemented from different domain via domain link so might be i am not finding them in import queue,So please confirm from where I can check that these transports are imported successfully.
    Shivam Mittal

Imports which have been triggered from the task list in Solution Manager will be removed from import queue after successful import.
Go to tx: STMS -> Import Queue and use "import history" to view imported requests.
You can also view the import history in Solution Manager using the task list (tx: SCMA).

  • Copy contents of a txt file into a transport request

I am implementing the steps of the 990534 note.
The note says "Create a new transport request (transaction SE09) in the source client of your Solution Manager system. Unpack file SOLMAN40_MOPZ_TTYP_SLMO_000.zip, which is attached to this note. Copy the contents of the SOLMAN40_MOPZ_TTYP_SLMO_000.txt file into the transport request."
can anyone tell me how can I copy the contents of a txt file into a transport request?

    Hello,
I don't know the OSS note, but I think they mean, that you have to go into the object list of your transport (in transaction SE09), switch to change mode and insert the objects from the text file.
I guess the text file looks like:
    R3TR PROG xyz
    R3TR TABL abc

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply.
I did r3trans -d, and the result is as belllow.
    F:\usr\sap\RDV\SYS\exe\run>r3trans -d
    This is r3trans version 6.13 (release 640 - 07.01.08 - 14:25:00).
    unicode enabled version
    2EETW000 sap_dext called with msgnr "2":

    db call info -
    2EETW000 function:   db_ntab

    r3trans finished (0012).
Also I checked TP_DOMAIN.pfl, but it seems that there is no problem.
    But I found doubtful point.
It is environmental variable, and now it is differnt from last friday.
Example,  last friday , there was variable as bellow,
but today I couldn't find them
In the meantime , I will deal with them.

Here is the short dump in the ABAP system.
    Short text of error message:

    Long text of error message:
    Technical information about the message:
    Message class....... "PU"
    Number.............. 601
Variable 1.......... "INTERNAL ERROR UPDATING REQUEST DESC OF"
    Variable 2.......... "RP1K900690"

I have checked the RFC destination in the J2EE Admin and that works OK.  This has me kind of stumped.

  • Import steps not specific to Transport Request

    Hi all,
I need to move 5 Released Transport Request as "Local Change Requests" to another SAP installation.
I followed two guides to do this:
SAP BASIS / ABAP - How to Export and Import an External Change Request - YouTube
How to copy Repository Objects between non-connected SAP systems - ABAP Development - SCN Wiki
However I have problems creating the Change Request that contains all my requests: if I generate it as Local Change Request it is not available on cofiles and data folders.
So I created a new Virtual System called M02 and I created a standard consolidation transport link between my original system M01 and the virtual system M02.
Then I created a new TRANSPORT OF COPIES Transport Request and I selected as target system M02. All objects are correctly added to the new request and the validation is correctly performed.
However when I release the request on the SOURCE server I get the following error:
    M01#######            My Request Name
    M01        System M01
Checks at Operating System Level         05.03.2014 16:48:34    (0) Successfully Completed

                 Export                                   05.03.2014 16:48:47    (0) Successfully Completed
Import steps not specific to transport request
      M02        Virtual System
Selection for Import                     05.03.2014 16:48:47    (0) Successfully Completed
Import steps not specific to transport request
"Import steps not specific to transport request" expanded as:
Feedback after export or import 05.03.2014 16:48:48    (0) Successfully Completed
I get this message even if I generate the new Change Request from a single Change Request (the first one that we released).
The cofiles and data files are correctly generated, however the IMPORT on the TARGET server returns an error (invalid data package)
My question is: is the "Import steps not specific to transport request" message correct, or should I modify something? Why am I getting this message?
    Thank you

    Hi Chinna,
Its a warning message you can ignore that... if you want to see what exactly the reason for warning  in SE09 --> select the released request --> click the Transport Log Ikon --> select the warning message and click the spects Ikon --> go on expanding you can find the warnings of Objects  in Yellow...
    Hope this helps,
    Sudhakar.

What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion or feedback will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot Friends
I followed your instructions and so far here is what I have done.
Since this is just a test server, I have given full permissions to /usr directory and all the files and directories below that.
The user account is a copy of J2EE_ADMIN. I have also added   'SAP_ALL', 'S_TMW_IMPORT' Profiles.
I am attaching the log which still indicates that there is permission problem.
Any other suggestion will be highly appreciated.

  • Transporting LSMW without creating transport request( from quality to prodn

    Hi All,
I have created an LSMW in quality, I need to transport it to production with out creating any transport request.
Kindly let me know the procedure for the same.
    Please help!!!

    Hi,
In the transaction LSMW, from the menu:
From your Quality system give your lsmw name and then do:
    Extras->Export Project
This will export your lsmw created to an local path.
Then after logging into Production you can import
that lsmw from the lsmw transaction only:
    Extras->Import Project
    Hope it helps
    Regards
    Mansi
