Transporting EP Content over NWDI
Hello,
we are trying to transport EP Content over the NWDI. We have a Netweaver2004s with SP8. The documentation we are refering to is "How to... Transport EP 6.0 Content."
On Page 25, we are creating a development component but we can't find in our NWDS under the content the Enterprise Portal Content Archive.
We only see UME.
Is it not possible anymore to transport EP content with Netweaver 2004s?
Thanks
Alexander
Hello Alexander,
It is still possible. You have to add the DC type 'Enterprise Portal Content Archive' manually, as described on page 24 of the PDF (Configuration of SAP Netweaver Developer Studio). You have to add an entry to the componentTypes.xml file.

Christophe

Error while transporting migrated contents
Dear SDN,
I had a requirement to transport the contents of Migrated Folder in Portal. I guess these contents have been migrated from EP5 to EP6. The contents in this folder are some standard SAP objects, i.e., iviews, pages, etc. The contents are working fine in our quality portal.
I had a standard SAP Page which had some standard SAP iviews attached to the page. The page as well as iviews were working fine in Quality. I transported the standard SAP Page and all the iviews folder to production, since iviews folders were not appearing in production. Now when I preview the page, page gets opened up properly but the iviews shows error on the page. The error displayed by the iviews is :
*Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.

Regards,
ShreyaHi shreya,
Any PCD content with ID starts with com.sap...... cannot be transportted from one system to other system.
You can do a work around.
You can change the ID from com sap to com.abc(any). Then you can transport them.
But don't change the id of standard ones. Only duplicated once (copy of standard ones) can be transported.
Hope that helps.

Problem in transporting WPC Content
Hi,
I am facing problem in transporting WPC Content from server1 to server2. After transport the webpages are not displaying the contents. Webpages are showing empty layouts. I have done the layout configurations. Webpages are cotaining iViews and Html contents from KM . The webpages are not allowing to edit. Its very urgent.Help me to get through this.
Regards,
Mallini.VHi MaliniV,
Before you transfer the WPC content from one server to another, you need to be very careful about the settings and configurations. Did deply the WPC on the other server ? Did u do any custom page layouts in development server ? if yes, you need to do the same in production server as well. if not , it won't work.
I too had the same problem before. but ! after checking all these , I corrected them.
I hope this will help u.
Thanks

How to Sort transported KM content based on the creation date
Hi ,
I transported KM content through ICE offline transfer. all the files are copied. but the problem is all are copied with the todays date as modified date.
but I need to sort these based on the creation date.
all these files are with the xml templates.
Can only help in this regard
Thank youHi,
Enter the format that you have defined in the configuration of the property in the Additional Metadata parameter. Use the syntax customFormat=<pattern>.
In this link, you have at the end screenshots where to navigate in KM to see the property metadatas of your property:

Hello experts
I am trying to transport the contents of a table from one system to another, using a request.
When I select all the table data in SE16 then and go to menu Table entry- Transport Entries. By default a prompt for customizing request pops up and even if a create a customizing request and try to proceed I get an error message u201CTask BWDK901759 belongs to a different categoryu201D
Any ideas plz
Thanks in advanceHi,
sounds like there is something wrong with your transport system. Check with a basis guy. There have to be a different setting in the transport system or you can manually enter a different category to the request so that it will be valid for your purpose.

LSADMIN CMS authorization problem - How To Transport XI Content Using CMS
We are configuring CMS using the "How To Transport XI Content Using CMS". For the LSADMIN user we have added the SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER and SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER roles. We have followed all of the steps in the guide.
The problem we are encountering is that when we define the domain but put in the LSADMIN as the user, we get an error - "SLD (URL http://server:50000) server exception: HTTP response code: 403 Forbidden"
We then gave the LSADMIN all of the roles of XISUPER and restarted the J2EE engine. We still have the same problem. So we changed the CMS User to be XISUPER and we could save the domain. Now, we have another problem - when we try to export from dev using CMS, we get the following problem:
"Sent on 3/9/06 at 1:26 PM: Unable to establish connection to CMS server http://servername:50000. Unable to transfer the following transport lists: Export list for ...
Details: unknown exception: com.sap.cms.util.exception.conf.CMSCFinderException: Workspace name does not exist: com.sap.cms.util.exception.conf.CMSCFinderException: Workspace name does not exist: version=0,dtrWSName=
Check the availability of the CMS and the user authorizations and send the transport request again if necessary
We are on SP16. Anyone encountered this issue?
Regards,
JayHere are all of roles we have given LSADMIN in client 100:
SAP_CMS_ADMINISTRATOR
SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER
SAP_SLD_GUEST
SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER
SAP_XI_BPE_MONITOR_ABAP
SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER
SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER
SAP_XI_DEMOAPP
SAP_XI_DEVELOPER
SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_ABAP
SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE
SAP_XI_MONITOR
SAP_XI_MONITOR_ABAP
SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE
But on the J2EE side, we only see the following roles for LSADMIN:
- Authenticated Users Built-in Group Authenticated Users
- Everyone Built-in Group Everyone
- SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER Exchange Infrastructure: Change Management Service User
I checked client 000, and noticed that LSADMIN only had the SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER. So this the problem. I added all of the roles to LSADMIN in client 000 and restarted J2EE and now i can see all of the roles under the LSADMIN user in UME.
We noticed the problem that our UME configuration was pointing to client 000 and not client 100. If we go to Visual administrator and go to the Services->UME Provider, we see that - ume.r3.connection.master.client points to client 000. We will need to change this.
That was the issue. UME was pointing to the wrong ABAP client. I appreciate all of your help.

My pc has crashed and lost a considerable amount of music and videos from iTunes the files are still in iTunes but are empty, will iTunes Match restore my content over the cloud?
Hm ... I guess I can't edit the post above. Anyway, I seem to have solved it by ...
Quitting iTunes.
Going into Home / Music / iTunes, and renaming the file "iTunes Library.itl" to "iTunes Library (corrupt).itl".
Entering Time Machine, and restoring the "iTunes Library.itl" file from a few days ago. I went back two days, which seemed far enough back to be "before" the problem but not far enough back to have trouble with recent acquisitions.
Re-opening iTunes - and everything seemed to be back in order.
So that's fine for now. We'll see if the solution is stable.
Very, very tentative assignment of blame: I believe iTunes crashed earlier today after I'd synced photos from my iPhone to iPhoto, and then iTunes crashed while iPhoto was closing (and taking its sweet time doing so). If that was indeed the case, that's at least the second time in the past couple of months that trying to sync iPhone photos to iPhoto has caused me significant problems. (The last time led to 80% of my iPhone suddenly being occupied by "Other", and a full restore of the darn thing.) -
Transporting KM Content with WebDAV or ICE?
Hello all,
does anybody know what are the main differences between transporting KM content (folders, files, ) with ICE and WebDAV? Especially in the scope of transmitted data.
About transporting KM Content with ICE I found a lot of Information, e.g. predefined properties and ACLs are transmitted but no service ACL, .
But how is it with WebDAV?
Our idea is to to use the WebDAV repository manager to access the development portal (source)and make its content available for read and write access in Content Management of the test portal (destination). After that we want to transmit the data per copy & paste from the WebDAV repository (source) to the destination folder.
Which datas will be transported <i>(acls, predefined properties, custom properties, system properties and folder settings like approval, versioning, manual ordering ..)</i>?
Is there any documentation about this?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Best regards
NicoleThat's not really a WebDAV question. The KM's copy command copies a certain set of information, no matter what the repository manager is.
This includes content and custom properties, but that's it.
Best regards, Julian -
Tips or tutorial for how to scroll content over header or over fixed photos ...
... like these two Adobe Muse Site-of-the-Day websites:
Scroll over header: <http://www.zacharycrawley.co.uk/index.html>
Scroll over fixed photos: <http://www.lauranet.nl/>
Thanks much for any advice
BradleyAnd here's another site that repeatedly scrolls new content over a photo — almost like sliding a new page over a preceeding one, but as a function of scrolling.
I doubt this added website was done in Muse, but can Muse do this sort of thing repeatedly ... or just at the top of a page?

Thanks again!

How to get objects necessary for transporting Business Content?
Hi Experts,
Small ques for u:
I have installed 0FIAA_C11, 0FIAA_C12, 0FIAA_C13 for Asset Accounting in Dev system. Already the previous content 0FIAA_C04 was installed and transported to Quality system.
Now I want to transport new content (0FIAA_C11, 0FIAA_C12, 0FIAA_C13) to Quality. But I guess since already some infoobjects were transported to quality, transport connection wud nt show me all necesary objects.
<b>So how to get a list of all objects necessary</b> so that my req does nt fail while moving to production from quality.(I think req might not fail while goin from Dev ->quality).
Thanks in advance!!
SorabhHi Srini,
I have already applied "Before setting". But the problem is I dont want to transport objects which are not relevant to me, but only those which are necessary for content described in previous mail.
If we check the link provide by you " For activating an InfoSource, InfoObjects may also be necessary which are not contained in the InfoCube and have therefore not yet been collected. However, for these additional objects, the objects that come before them in the data flow are not collected.
" I am worried by about these. Some objects will be missing and some are in addition which are not all required, and we shud nt transport them. How to be sure tht transport will not fail and it is consistent as well?
Thanks for replying!!

PHP failing to retrieve content over ssl
I am am getting the errors bellow when executing the following line of PHP:
include_once 'https://someserver/someotherfile.php';
Log output:
PHP Warning: include_once(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed in /files/somefile.php on line x
PHP Warning: include_once(): Failed to enable crypto in /files/someotherfile.php on line x
PHP Warning: include_once(https://someserver/someotherfile.php): failed to open stream: operation failed in /files/somefile.php on line x
PHP Warning: include_once(): Failed opening 'https://someserver/somefile.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /files/somefile.php on line x
The issue does not occur for http sources (e.g. http://someserver/somefile.php) but will occur for any https source.
OpenSSL is installed and appears to be configured correctly (I am able to retrieve files from a https source via curl). The config (/etc/ssl/openssl.cnf) is default.
I have reinstalled PHP and the config (/etc/php/php.ini) is default except for the lines below:
extension=openssl.so (uncommented)
extension=phar.so (uncommented)
allow_url_include = On (changed from "Off")
Installed versions:
local/php 5.6.4-1
local/lib32-openssl 1.0.1.k-1
local/openssl 1.0.1.k-1
I have been searching for hours and am unable to find anyone with a similar issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
edit:
Issue occurs when using any function to access content over an ssl connection. E.g. the following line produces the same error:
echo file_get_contents('https://someserver/somefile');

Is there a way to have parallax scrolling and a changing slideshow? (so the slideshow looks still and it looks like you scroll your content over it again)
You can apply opacity to images or define key position for slideshow so that with page scroll the opacity changes and will bring the similar effect.
Thanks,
Sanjit -
Hi ,
I have created a master data table and i need to transport its contents ( the table is already in quality ) from devlopment to quality server but it is not at all asking for a request. Please help me outHi Arvind,
Probably your table is not marked as Transportable table.
Go to table Maintanance and see if Standard recording routine us checked.
You may also want to build the transport manually, Follow below steps:
1) Go to SE01.
2) Click on the 'Create' icon.
3) Select 'Workbench Request'(assuming your table is not customizing table).
4) Enter description and click 'Save'.
5) Put cursor on the task (lower number of the two) and in menu, 'Request/task-->
Change Type-->Development/correction'.
6) With cursor on the task(lower number), click 'Object List' icon on the toolbar.
7) Once in, you need to toggle to 'Change' mode using the pencil icon.
Then click on 'New Entries'. Now add the R3TR, TABU, <ZTAB> in the first row.
Again in the menu, select 'Extras-->Change object function-->Key according to key list'.
8) Now go to the menu, 'Goto-->Key list'. In the subsequent screen, click on 'Insert line' icon
(with a + sign).
9) Click on 'Key fields' button and it will now allow you to enter the values for each key field.

Transporting KM Content from 7.0 to 7.3
Is it possible to transport KM content from 7.0 to 7.3? I can export the content from 7.0 just fine, and then upload the transport in 7.3 just fine. But when I select the transport in "Pending Imports" and choose "Start Import", the import fails every time. The only info I can find in the import log is "Error Import "EPD_CONTENT" (d00ec46a-66bc-2e10-e1ab-8330d94df02e) failed with 1 errors after 0 minute(s) 0 second(s)".
Any idea why, or if there is some trick to this transport?
Thanks,
OwenWhat is your server setup for the portal?
I have a new portal install of 7.3 on a different server than my 7.0 portal. Usually, when I transport KM content from EPD 7.0 to EPP 7.0, it automatically saves the transport on the K drive. I then download the transport onto my S drive manually. When I import the transport into EPP 7.0, I upload the transport from the client machine (my S drive) and everything works fine.
When I do the same thing for creating the transport package, and then upload the transport into EPD 7.3, it works fine also. Then when I try to actually import the transport, it gives me an error. The logs say the following:
Sep 29, 2011 11:30:49 AM Info Starting import "ZEX_SPS_REPOSITORY" (f055d3b8-cdcc-2e10-0ba4-d618f8fd400a) using mode "MergeFolder" (ConstantID=false)

Sep 29, 2011 11:30:49 AM Error Import "ZEX_SPS_REPOSITORY" (f055d3b8-cdcc-2e10-0ba4-d618f8fd400a) failed with 1 errors after 0 minute(s) 0 second(s)
Sep 29, 2011 11:30:49 AM Info Statistics: 199 items (16 folders, 183 files, 0 links), 14257152 bytes in total
The only thing that looks curious in that log (besides the fact that there is an error) is that it says it is importing from the K drive. That's not where I uploaded the transport from, I uploaded it from my S drive. Does it always say that?
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Owen
