Trim selection lost after "undo"

I select my trim edit points on various tracks, perform some trims. When I "undo" the trims, the selection of the trim edit points gets lost on all tracks but one (all tracks selected), so I always have to reselect all the trim edit points (which is time consuming in the case of L cuts etc.).
Is this a bug or has this always been like that?

I've seen similar behavior with Photoshop and layer selection, so I'd assume it's normal function.

Tree node selection lost after returning from called page

in a default unbound task flow i have a Page1 calling Page2.
Page1 displays a master-detail data using treetable component, while Page2 displays detail data (selected from Page1) as a read-only form.
When coming back from Page2, Page1 tree node selection is lost and tree table is rendered as if was called for a first time (detail data are disclosed).
How can I restore an original selection?

Emails Lost After Undo

Sometimes, when using an IMAP email account, I delete an email, and hit cmd-z to try to undo the action, and the email would flash back and disappear. And at that point, that email is gone for good. Can't find it anywhere. Is this a known problem in Mail?

Cannot undo the trim selection and return to original clip

I have a clip 6 seconds long and dragged it into the project. I shortened it to 2 seconds some how. I tried to undo the trim selection. I even deleted the clip from the project and the event. I imported it again. Once I dragged it into the project again, the orange bar appeared and the clip shortened to 2 seconds. I want the full 6 secs. I double clicked and got into the trim clip screen and it will not let me use the handles to expand to the original clip. It can get shorter, not longer. Does this make sense.

There should be little arrows at the bottom right and bottom left of the clip. You can click on an arrow and a handle will pop out allowing you to add frames back to the clip.
You can also drag the whole six seconds back from the Event if that is quicker.

Can't select photo after scans for faces

I just bought a laptop with iphoto 09 on it; previously I used 08 (or earlier; can't remember). {Yes I know a new version '11 just came out. Given the number of problems reported maybe I'm not sad about the purchase-timing}.
My library is huge with 30K+ images; I keep it on an external HD. After opening the new iphoto it asked to tweak my library which I allowed. Upon first opening all images seem to be there and selectable, but after it scans for faces (takes hours), I can no longer select a photo, necessary in order to start identifying faces.
I tried closing iphoto and reopening - same thing; images selectable prior to running faces scan, then not.
I tried rebuilding the library. This lost all my keyword structure (I use keyword manager) and after the rebuild bombed failing to import all the images, I deleted the rebuilt library before testing whether it could select images.
My old library does seem as if it should be rebuilt, many images now appear blank as thumbnails though present when selected.
¿ Will rebuilding the library fix the selecting-face scanning problem?
¿ Is there a way to rebuild the library that will retain my keyword structure?
BTW, I deleted the partially rebuilt library via iphoto library manager...

Darn! It seems to say MS-DOS (FAT). I thought I had fixed all my HDs to be properly formatted for the Macintosh.
Does this mean I'm SOL?
I could put a screen shot of my disk utility...
Or how about I just copy the entire iphoto library to my new giant-er HD and then reformat the EHD and copy it back ... is that necessary? And if so, how best to move the library. Do I need to use iphoto library manager or just slide the whole thing onto the internal HD?

CVS keyboard accelerators lost after restart

I set up accelerator keys for CVS edit (F10) and CVS commit (F11). Whilst JDeveloper is running, these keys work fine and I am able to edit and commit with these shortcut keys.
However, when I restart JDeveloper, the settings are lost and I have to set the keys again - (I have to do this each time I restart JDeveloper).
When I set keys F10 and F11 to other accelerator shortcuts such as make selected or run selected these work fine, even after restarting JDeveloper. The problem only seems to be with the CVS commands.
Do I have to some additional configuration for the CVS accelerators?
I am using JDeveloper 9.0.3.1 and the problem occurs on both Windows XP and SUSE Linux 8.1.

I'm seeing this problem with set accelerators being lost after restart with JDeveloper Preview 10.1.3.0.2.
I set an accelerator to an external tool (Tomcat Startup and Tomcat Shutdown) and the accelerator is gone after I restart JDeveloper.
I apologize if this is a known bug in Preview... I did a cursory search through the forums and only found this one.

Why can I not disable the guest user in the 10.8.2 update? I have never enabled the guest user, but after the update, it was automatically enabled with a "managed" tag. It is not selectable even after entering my admin password to unlock the options.

SOLVED Ok. I actually was able to disable it. I had to actually log in as the guest user to make it accessible in the preference window. Then I disabled it and logged out. Apologies if this was obvious for some people, but I have had some sort of issue with something every update since Snow Leopard.

In scene selection mode, can you make iDVD return to the scene selection menu after playing that scene without continuing to play all the other scenes?

After selecting one scene from the scene selection menu, the following scenes play automatically, as if it were in "play movie" mode. Is there a way to stop that behavior and have the DVD return to the scene selection menu after playing just the selected scene?

give the function of a Play All button - Tested - and ONE HAS TO un-cheque - Scale pictures to TV-Safe area else it will be a black frame all around and a small picture !

You might be able to get close to what you want by using a slideshow in iDVD. (It's not widely known, but you can put videos in a slideshow.) If you set the slide duration to manual, playback will pause after each movie/slide, and you can continue with the 'next' button.
3. Using another program to do this e.g.. Roxio Toast™ where there is a Play All button option.
Summary
a. Making a Play All movie with same care as the individual Part movies - gives a very Good Result
b. Using Roxio Toast™ - also an usable way to go

Back to selection screen after error

Hello ABAPers,
I have a executable program (REPORT) to do some processing (e.g. read a standard table with the parameters and select-options and save the data in a Z table).
When occurs an error (e.g. when sy-subrc <> 0 after select) and a message of type E is showed, the program show the message in a "clean" screen with title SAP. Then, after ENTER or ESC, it leaves to initial screen of SAP (SAP Easy Access).
The message of type E is triggered from a routine (FORM) called from START-OF-SELECTION event. And the program don´t write nothing in list (only return a status message if everithing is ok).
How can I force the program to back to selection screen after some error?

Do the following for your requirement.
in the message give the following
start-of-selection.
Perform <routine>.
Form <routine>.
if <condition>.
message 'xxxx' type 'S' display like 'E'.
exit.
endif.
endform.
This way the control returns to selection screen even after the message is triggered.

After the execution of my abap report sap returns to the selection options screen in which all the selected values from the run are still mentioned. How can i refresh the selection screen (so no values in the selection options after the report run) ?

User Settings lost after session is released

I am having a problem with the User settings being lost after the user logs off the system.
menu settings, fields displayed in Marketing Documents, displayed User Defined fields and the
sequence of User defined fields get lost after the session ends. This does not happen to all users,
just some users. The users that keep losing their settings keep losing their settings, the ones that do not have a
problem seem never to have a problem.
has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, how has it been resolved?

This can also be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
