Trouble logging into sql using scott/tiger..please help..URGENT!!!

hai friends!
I installed D2K recently. Iam unable to login to sql (directly or from D2K forms) using the usual username/password..scott/tiger,system/manager,demo/demo. I get the following error message :
TNS error: Unable to connect to destination
Please help me out!

what is your error number.
Did you try to look up this number in the oracle error book?
Usually you can also find the solution there.
My bet is that your tnsnames.ora file is not set properly.

"I cannot login using the browser" isn't very informative.
What URL are you using? What tool are you using in the browser?
It sounds like you're trying to log in to Enterprise Manager as a normal user. Enterprise Manager, however, is a tool for managers to use (hence its name), not ordinary users. You'll want to log on as Scott in something like iSQL*Plus instead.
Or, you can escalate Scott into being a manager of the database by doing something like grant dba to scott; in plain old SQL*Plus. That wouldn't be a very sensible thing to do, however: better to find appropriate client tools for clients and leave management tools to managers.
Either way, be specific about what you are trying to run in your browser if you want any clearer advice.

If you are using web based email (accessing from Safari), from the Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
Click: Show Cookies
Delete all Yahoo cookies.
Now from the menu bar again click Safari / Empty Cache.
Restart your Mac, launch Safari. Try Yahoo.
If the problem persists, there's a better way to access your Yahoo mail without a browser.
Launch the Mail application. Either from your Dock or Applications folder.
From the Mail menu bar click Mail / Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Click + under the Accounts window on the left.
Type in your name, Yahoo email address and password.
Click: Create
No more having to use Safari or any browser to access your Yahoo mail. Just click the Mail icon in the Dock.

Parse into array using JDOM! please help

i've managed to parse an xml document using JDOM
i[b] need to be able to parse it and store the text (the value of each node) into an array, and then insert into db etc.
the problem is with the recursive function listChildren which calls itself... can someone tell me where do i insert the block of code such that i can store it into an array of string.
here's the code:

hi, I suggest you make an array of byte arrays
--> Byte[][] and use one row for each number
you can do 2 things,
take each cipher of one number and put one by one in each column of the row correspondent to that number. of course it may take too much room if the int[] is too big, but that is the easiest way I think
the other way is dividing your number into bitsets(class BitSet) with sizes of 8 bits and then you can save each bit into each column of your array. and you still have one number in each row. To put your numbers back use the same class.
Maybe someone has an easier way, I couldnt think of any.

I installed oracle, but I did not go through the underlined step. I am not sure if I skipped or it was not there during the installation

and list the accounts that are unlocked. It will ask you for password management. Sys
and System accounts would be already unlocked. Unlock HR and Scott accounts,
and for these two accounts also specify the same password that you had given before.

Welcome to the forum,
After installing Oracle 10g SCOTT user will be in locked, you should unlock it.
Login as sysdba using the below command
sqlplus sys as sysdba
password:<ur password>
after connecting as sysdba use the below command to unlock the SCOTT user
ALTER USER SCOTT ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
Now connect as scott you will bw able to connect.

Trouble logging into eprint center to set up account

having trouble logging into eprint center.
I enter email and then password and its says password invalid
I ask to reset password in the forgot password box and it asks for email address. When I type in email it keeps asking for email associated with account as if the box is blank. It keeps saying type in email.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The issue you're experiencing is most likely due to an old Snapfish account registered under your email address. ePrintCenter and Snapfish account information is stored in the same place and I've seen this conflict before. You will need to go to http://www.snapfish.com/snapfish/welcome, click the "Sign In" in the top right hand corner of the page and then click the "forgot password" link and enter the email address that is causing your problems, you should receive an email from Snapfish that will let you create a new password there. Once you've created a new password for Snapfish, try to Sign In on ePrintCenter (http://www.eprintcenter.com/) using your email address and the new password you created for Snapfish.

I have Mac Book Pro 10.8.4 and Safari 6.0.5. Ever since the most recent update, I have trouble logging into secure sites like Yahoo! mail, eBay to name a few. The login boxes are active but nothing happens when I hit the enter or signin button. It just sits there, it isn't hanging or anything like that, it's as if I'd hit any other place on the page where one wouldn't expect anything to happen. I can and do refresh the page, approach from a different "angle" (for lack of a better term, say from "sign in" instead of "mail" for example) and try again. Sometimes this is enough and sometimes it takes several attempts to get it to recognise my hitting the button. I didn't have trouble prior to this most recent update. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

An Apple ID which consists of a non-Apple address can perfectly well be used to create and sign into an iCloud account (most Apple ID's take this form). Your problem is that you can't create an iCloud account on Windows: you can only do it on a Mac or an iOS device. Once created on one of those you can sign into it on Windows using the iCloud Control Panel.
