Trouble streaming videos

Videos stop and start if streaming on 2 devices at the same time. Is this an issue with my wireless router or my internet speed?

It's probably more a function of your wireless environment more than either of the other two causes, but you will need a minimum speed delivered from your ISP to stream video reliably. High definition video will require a minimum speed of very approximately 7 Mbps, delivered continuously, with few or no occasional interruptions, and little or no additional activity on your network. Streaming two HD videos simultaneously will need slightly more than twice that much.

Trouble streaming videos on Amazon

Why am I having so much trouble streaming instant videos on Amazon when I have the updated version of Adobe Flash Player as prompted by Amazon and my computer? It keeps starting and stopping and reloading and asking me to update my flash player.

IPad air has trouble streaming videos over Wi-Fi when Bluetooth is enabled

With Bluetooth enabled several video streaming apps have trouble. Videos are intermittent and choppy. But when I turn Bluetooth off, the problem goes away immediately. I'm streaming videos over Wi-Fi, and I tried changing the channels of the Wi-Fi network, but nothing seems to help. I've also tried switching video streaming apps with no difference. Has anyone else noticed these problems with Bluetooth?

I m new with nokia E71. I have problem when i want to see streaming video, youtube or anything else. The video stop after one or two minutes. I think it comes from flash lite that uses RAM with limation. Do you have any soluion ?

I've got a PowerBook G4 1.67ghz 15"display laptop. I know it's old and slow and all that but I've been using it to watch video on the internet for a long time now. Up until about a month ago, I had no trouble at all. Suddenly, hulu.com started streaming in really choppy and crappy. Now other web sites' video plays back choppy too. I've gone through troubleshooting and suggestions for various players and websites but nothing seems to be working.
Does this mean my video card is failing?

no, nothing is faulty, but the quality has increased with these services. almost all of them are using flash & h.264 to encode the video. decoding for playback is very CPU intensive.
quit all other apps & use camino browser (mozilla based) as I found it uses the least system resources to run.
otherwise, a newer Intel machine, 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo or better is about your only fix.

Why after updating, am i having trouble streaming video and any kind of flash programs? how do i un-update?

everytime i watch video it is skipping repeatedly and it helps when i hold down esc but that obviously is no fix. and most anything that has to do with flash says its crashed.

It just says not connected, and as soon as it bails to menu, it connects again and will play for another minute before doing the same thing all over again.

E1500 wireless router having problems streaming video and netflix

We got a new E1500 router 2 nights ago. The internet works fine, but it has big trouble streaming videos and Netflix, those types of things. I have changed my MTU setting and all the settings suggested in the "Guide Me" section. My drivers are up to date on my router and on my pc. It just started happening with this router. We had a Netgear before and we have no problems streaming at all. I have rebooted and reset the router and cable modem.
Does anyone else have some suggestions I can try?

The concern that you have is for both wired and wireless or just for the wireless? If it is for wireless then try these troubleshooting steps:
A] With the help of Cisco Connect Software (if at all you have installed the router with the help of this software)
1] Open the software and go to the option which says "Router Settings"
2] Then click on the option which says "Advanced Settings" which will take you to the router's configuration page.
3] Then go to the Wireless tab, change Channel width to 20 MHz only and change the Channel to 6, 9, 11...Save the settings..
B] If you haven't installed Cisco Connect then you can log on to the router's user interface using it's default IP address in the browser which is 192.168.1.1 and type in 'admin' as the password leaving the username field blank. This will take you to the router's web interface and then follow steps as mentioned above to make the changes.
Then check the status of streaming video and netflix.

Why does streaming video not work?

I have almost always had trouble streaming video....form Youtube and Netflix and other streams...and I don't know why! What needs to work better for streaming? Is a 3G hotspot connection not fast enough?? What do I need to do to make this seemingly simple operation run smooth?

3G is a painfully slow cellular connection. You would be much better off with a high speed internet connection. Cable or DSL depending on what may be offered in your area.

Problem viewing video, something about an ad blocker. I had no trouble viewing streaming video until I downloaded firefox 4

I do not have any trouble watching streaming video on the Netflix website, but all other streaming video such as on a tv network or on IMDB.com comes back unavailable or blocked by an ad blocker. The only change to my computer I have done is upgrade my Mazilla Firefox browser. Something downloaded with it maybe that is blocking streaming transmissions. I need to know how to disable or bypass the problem.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

Trouble with Streaming Video in Dreamweaver 8

Hello,
I am having trouble inserting a streaming FLV into a CFM page
via Dreamweaver. I have successfully done this using Flash 8
Pro’s FLVPlayback component. I think the problem is my
syntax, but I could be wrong.
Here is what I used in Flash that is currently working:
- contentPath: rtmp://serverIPAddress/loadTest/test.flv
Here is what I’ve been trying to do in Dreamweaver via
the GUI when choosing Insert > Media > Flash Video >
Streaming video:
- Server URI: rtmp://10.64.189.66/loadTest/myLoadTest
(Note: myLoadTest is the new instance name that I gave
loadTest in the FMS console.)
- Stream name: test.flv or test
When I do the above in Dreamweaver and try to auto detect the
dimensions of the FLV it just times out and give an error message.
I put in some values and ran the file anyway and it does nothing.
If anyone can help figure out what I’m doing wrong I
will be greatly appreciative!! :)

Having the same exact problem you are. One thing you might
check that I have also done to no avail, is to be sure your MIME
extensions are added to your webserver (IIS or Apache). That seems
to be a common mistake and if that doesn't help you, it will at
least tackle the next problem you might encounter.

Streaming videos trouble

When im try to see a streaming video in a site like youtube, my video stops and only the sound works,when the video start in 0~1 sec aproximatelly.. this issue occurs for only 1sec, but its too boring...
Somebody know if it is a flash problem??

this happens to me when I'm also running video from VLC. Do you have other media open while streaming? try trouble shooting by restarting your computer, uncheck reopen windows and just open safari or whichever browser you're using and try playing it then. (or just close everything but your browser and try).
also did you update to 10.7.1 yet?
