Trouble with Facebook login on Playbook

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. I am having trouble logging into the Facebook app on my Playbook. I enter the correct username and password but it tells me I have not and does not grant access. I have a Playbook with OS 1.0.8.6067 and the latest version of the Facebook app installed.
I have tried to disconnect the Bridge with my Blackberry phone, as well as disable Bluetooth as other threads have suggested but have still been unable to gain access.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you for your time.

make sure the application permissions are all set to allow...in the options menu under security.
try deleting the app then restart then install
and if those fail perform a hard reset by holding the power and volume up and down buttons down for 20 secs.

  • ADF integration with Facebook Login

    Hi,
    just wanted to share a working example of Facebook Login integration in an ADF application, that only uses default ADF Faces tags. Here is how the JSF can look like:

             ref.parentNode.insertBefore(js, ref);

        // This testAPI() function is only called in those cases.
        function testAPI() {
            console.log('Welcome!  Fetching your information.... ');
            FB.api('/me', function(response) {

    </af:resource>
            </f:facet>
        </af:document>

    Note that you must have created a Facebook App on Facebook.com which provides the AppId number and set the App in "Sandbox"  mode.
    The jsf works in JDeveloper 11.1.2.4 and Glassfish 3.1.2 and ADF Essentials 11.1.2.4

    When using a web service proxy, you need to pass the data as an object, which' structure is defined in the web service proxy wrapper classes.
    When you've defined a data control for your bpel process, you can just drag and drop the 'initiate'/'execute', your operation and bind this to the update-button.
    When working with the proxy client, you need to populate your java class objects with the employee-object, this can be done in a backing bean or managed bean in your adf faces application.
    For more information you can always have a look at my blog where I've provided an explanation about the different possibilities of interfacing adf with SOA.

  • Unable to add Flickr account with facebook login

    Hi,
    rMBP upgraded yesterday to Mountain Lion...trying to add Flickr connection, using Facebook dropdown and I get a blank screen...is this working for anyone?
    thanks!

    Still no resolution on this but I stopped by an Apple Store and confirmed that the same happens on all their Retina MBP's with Mountain Lion installed but does work correctly on the regular MBP's.
    I filed feedback with Apple and even called tech support but the call wasn't exactly fruitful.  I assume we will have to wait until 10.8.1 for this to be fixed (hopefully not longer).
    In the meantime I figured out how to disconnect my Facebook account from Flickr (although I'm not positive that I really had to) and log in with my Yahoo ID instead.  I successfully setup Flickr in Mountain Lion using just my Yahoo ID.
    The trickiest part for me was figuring out what my Yahoo ID and password were. Turns out it was just my Facebook login email and password.

  • Trouble with Facebook app

    last week my iphone 4 FB app stopped giving me the camera icon on photo albums for me to upload pictures. Have deleted the app twice and reinstalled still no luck. the rest of the fb app works. But not this. also had alot of trouble with pandora too. When it wants to a new text message will kill it. I have had to delete it twice and reinstall to get that fixed. Callled apple today they had no idea how to help me. Any ideas?? bit mad as only had this phone a month.

    Again, it's not the phone, or operating system. It's the App. Perhaps your gf, hasn't updated her apps in a while.
    Mine changed about a week ago too. Other's have reported the same thing. It's just not worth crying about.

  • HT1338 I have trouble with Facebook opening and if it does open, it freezes up

    I have trouble getting onto Facebook with my MAC; and if I do get on, it freezes up.  Anyone else have this problem recently?

    Cant get help with this issue on Apple Support, so I have to go to the Apple store to the Genius Bar to get assistance.  All the help issues are so technical in their jargon, that I cannot understand how to fix the issue.

  • Having trouble with facebook games " zuma blitz" lags, very slow.

    I am having problems with a Facebook game, "Zuma Blitz", the game loads faster, but lags or plays very slow. it freezes with every shot made.. impossible to play. It may be happening with others, but I play this game every day to pass time.

    This is because of the plugin-container.exe.
    if you switch dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to false in about:config
    plugin-container and the problem will dissapear

  • Trouble with Register/Login

    I'm using a tablet with prepaid data plan.
    I can clearly confirm that my device is activated at verizon because I'm posting this and I can see the message on settings-cellular data-view account(iOS).
    Here it goes.
    1. When I try to register on web site: it redirects me to the remote-activation window(step 1, 2, 3).
    2. When I try to login to verizonwireless website: get a message 'not matching our files'.
    3. When I try to login to my verizon web site(the one with red background): spinning balls icon and nothing happens.
    4. When i try to login with my verizon app: it gets stuck with spinning balls icon right after entering my cellular data number.
    I love you verizon.

        jccccccc,
    I certainly want this to work for you! The account will need to be registered via the full website, before you are able to use in on the mobile app. Please go to www.vzw.com and scroll to the bottom of the webpage and select Full Website. Then attempt the registration once again. Keep us posted to your progress.

  • Having trouble with SSO Login handling multiple webhost deployments

    We have installed IDM 11g and OAM 10.1.4.3 on RHEL5.6 hosts, respectively. We have successfully installed all the components:
    Environment Details:
    - Server1 -- 64 bit Intel RHEL5
    Fusion Middleware Identity Management - 11.1.1.2
    WLS 10.3.2
    ODSM,OID,OVD
    DB 10.2.0.4
    - Server 2 32-bit Intel RHEL5
    OAM 10.1.4.3
    OHS
    -Server 3 -- WebHost -- 32 bit Windows XP
    WLS 10.3.2 -- with simple war file deplyed
    OHS 11.1.1.2
    -Server 4 -- WebHost -- 64 bit RHEL5.6
    WLS 10.3.2 -- with simple war file deplyed
    OHS 11.1.1.2
    We have created a policy and included both webhost server deploymetnts as protected resources. Individually if we open the war files, they will display the default SSO login screen when opened from the same browser session. After the SSO login is completed, and the first uri diplays, we are expecting that when the second uri is opened the SSO Login will not display... but it does.
    If we open a uri (either one) and enter the SSO Login, subsequent tries to open that same uri in the same browser session does not require the SSO login -- this is the expected result.
    I am sure there is something simple we are missing here, but cannot seem to determine the issue.

    If you go to system preferences users&groups, login options do you have "Display login window as:" List of users checked, as opposed to Name and password?
    Try checking List of users.

  • Trouble with Facebook and eBay 'Advanced Search'

    Hi everyone,
    I'd love if someone could tell me what's wrong with my MacBook. When I log on to Facebook, the items on the page essentially read down the page, with about one letter per line. It is impossible to read. Also, when I attempt to use the eBay 'Advanced Search' search option, the page never loads - I click on the 'search' button but nothing happens.
    I have recently done a software update for my MacBook, so it should be good to go. I also attempted to download a Java update (because I thought it might be a Javascript issue) but it wouldn't allow it because I have the most up-to-date Java edition. My operating system is one of the OS X versions - my laptop was purchased new in 2006.
    I also have made sure that my cookies aren't blocked, so it's not cookies that's causing the issue. It's got me stumped! I've love some suggestions - this issue is very frustrating!
    Thanks,
    Louise.

    Hi Louise,
    Can you tell us a bit more about the issue? For example...
    1.) Exactly what version of OS X are you running.
    2.) What browser are you using and what is the browser's version.
    3.) Have you tried a different browser.
    4.) Is it only these two websites.
    Thanks!

  • Anybody having trouble with Facebook? (3.6.24 on Ubuntu on a Dell with 1000 ram)

    Using Firefox 3.6.24 on Ubuntu on a Dell with 1000 ram. Chat does not open (continuously loads and loads); cannot scroll past about 30 or so posts - when I hit "more stories" at the bottom, page reloads to the top; have done everything I can find in Help there and Help here.

    If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
    Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop
    *Firefox 9.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
    *Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
    *Install the new version that you have downloaded
    Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.
