True Dynamic Folders

Presently, the contents of a Bridge folder don't seem to update any changes made outside of Bridge or CS2 applications. It would be nice to have these folders dynamically update. There's an example of this problem posted in the Windows Bridge discussion area.

I find I usually have to press F5 to get new folders, drives, changes to appear. Also too often I cannot delete a folder in Bridge or Windows Explorer because another prog is using it. Even though nothing is. Unless PS itself is hogging the folder as that's where it has saved to last, but even then it's not always just one folder that is un deletable.

  • Set SSIS variable property 'EvaluateAsExpression' to true dynamically

    I have a variable in SSIS.Initially i will set the value 'EvaluateAsExpression' property to false.
    In my package.I have a foreach  loop container.Once the execution enters in to the for each loop container.I want to set the 'EvaluateAsExpression' to true.Is that possible??
    Can anyone please help

    Hi Abhinav530,
    It’s not supported to change the EvaluateAsExpression property of a SSIS variable at runtime. I guess the sceanrio may be that you want the variable to use the default value when the package execution hasn’t entered the Foreach Loop Container phase, while
    the variable get value from the expression when the execution of the Foreach Loop Container starts. In this circumstance, you can create another variable with the same name but in the Foreach Loop Container scope. In this way, you don’t need to make changes
    to the existing expressions that reference the variable, and the variable in Foreach Loop Container scope will override the same name variable in package scope when the Foreach Loop Container executes.

  • Real challenge. dynamic ssi not possible? Help!

    I'm trying to reference static html pages from my pl/sql generated web pages without using frames. I can't seem to come up with any way to do this. Here's what I'm trying to essentially to do.
    filename below is a static html page being referenced.
    PROCEDURE onDemand
    (filename in varchar2) IS
    BEGIN
    PageStart;
    PageHeadbar;
    PageNavbar;
    htp.p('<table>');
    htp.p('<tr><td>');
    htp.p('<p>When This is working, the contents of the file <b>'||filename || '</b> will be included.</p>');
    htp.p('</td></tr>');
    htp.p('</table>');
    PageEnd;
    END onDemand;
    The options I CAN'T use are:
    1. Using utl_file to grab the contents of the file from that directory.
    2. XML url referencing.
    I thought maybe I could use the server side include option, but I don't see how I can integrate ssi with the mod_plsql output. I know I can compile a static html file as part of a psp compilation, but then it's completely embedded in the resulting procedure and I won't have any dynamic options.
    One solution that may work but we're trying to avoid, is to load all the existing html files into tables and just pull them out at the time of the procedure is called. Still, we'd like to avoid this and use the existing html files in the directories that they are in.
    Here's one possible option I was considering but am not sure how to make it work.
    I was thinking I could make my procedure that I'm calling part of a package and name the procedure .shtml. When I call the procedure it produces the web page which will have a server side include command in it that would reference the file I need. If I can get the apache server to then run the results of the mod_plsql through the mod_include module, it would hopefully then pull in the file I was trying to include. Is there any way that this might work? Here's the package body of what I'm trying with this option.
    create or replace package body ssi as
    procedure shtml (filename in varchar2)
    is
    begin
    PageStart;
    PageHeadbar;
    PageNavbar;
    htp.p('<table>');
    htp.p('<tr><td>');
    htp.p('<p>When This is working, the contents of the file <b>'||filename || '</b> will be included.</p>');
    htp.p('<!--#include virtual="../html/en/'||filename||'" -->');
    htp.p('</td></tr>');
    htp.p('</table>');
    PageEnd;
    end shtml;
    end ssi;
    If it would work, I'd call ssi.shtml?filename=example.html, the procedure creates the web page to be generated via the mod_plsql module, but then the mod_include module parses the page and pulls in the example.html.... is this possible? What would be the necessary configuration of the apache server to do this?
    There has to be a better way. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    This is a big reason to make the move to dynamic development. There are many sites that use PHP or CF and never connect to a database. The ability to have your menus, headers, footers added to your pages with one simple line of code such as:
    <cfinclude template="FooterContent.cfm">
    for ColdFusion or
    <?php
    include("FooterContent.php");
    ?>
    for php
    Makes it well worth moving from static HTML pages to using  CF or php.
    Even if your host did support SSI's  you'll find true dynamic development to be a much more reliable solution - and this isn't even mentioning how to handle form submissions and so many other non database related functions... for example  this line of code
    Copyright 2002 - <cfoutput>#DateFormat(Now(), "yyyy")#</cfoutput>
    Will automatically show the current year at the end of your copyright statement in your footer - sweet, right?
    Hope this encourages toy to make the move.

  • Dynamic Wartermark in AutoVue or where do the bytes come from?

    I am working on an AutoVue integration with Oracle UCM and wanting to do dynamic watermarking for PDFs based on a various inputs.
    PDFWatermark is being used to statically stamp a few watermarks but will not handle true dynamic (per request) watermarking.
    After digging around in the trace logs for UCM I can not find the entry point for AutoVue to get the document.  It seems to be bi-passing all filters and even services.  Can this be possible?
    Any insight into how to dynamically watermark within the context of an AutoVue integration would be helpful.
    I'm more than happy to provide any additional information that is necessary.
    Thank you very much.

    Bruce,
    When you say that you're working on an AutoVue integration with Oracle UCM, are you creating your own from scratch, or are you using the pre-built Oracle VueLink for UCM? The latter is certainly the recommended approach.
    Regarding the watermark, are you interested in a View-mode watermark (one that shows up on top of the drawing when viewing the drawing in AutoVue), or a Print watermark (one that shows up on top of the printed output)?
    Thanks,
    Graham

  • I am trying to move folders from Rogers to Primus. How do I do this?

    I have a ten year supply of folder that I want to move to my new provider. Do I have to send individual e-mails to my new address? Help!!!

    This isn't the best forum for what I'm about to describe, but maybe this will help get you started.
    I suggest using an offline email program such as Thunderbird for this. Set up Thunderbird with an IMAP connection to your existing mailbox. IMAP is a standard protocol supported by most ISPs, and what it does is create a mirror of your online mailbox on your computer. Typically the mirror will only have your Inbox and Sent Items, but you should be able to mirror ALL of the folders you want.
    Once you have all the mail downloaded into the mirror folders in your email software, you can ''copy'' it from the mirror folders into true local folders that do not require you to be connected to the server.
    Next, set up your new mailbox and create the desired folders (which will be blank). Establish an IMAP connection to your new mailbox from the same email software, and ''copy'' from each local folder to the corresponding IMAP folder for the new mail server. The messages should be mirrored up to the server into the correct folders.
    There a lots of details and possible gotchas, of course, but that's the general principle. And doing it this way ''should'' preserve all the original sent/received dates, unlike most other ways of doing it.
    Good luck!

  • Changing the site to be dynamic, running into problems

    I have a site I've been working on for several weeks. The
    individual sections are fairly dynamic in terms of actionscript
    running most of the frame, and each section only being one frame.
    I'm trying to get rid of the timeline altogether by using
    attachMovie, and am running into some issues. I need it to go to
    the label "start_fr" when they enter in a set password and
    username, and nothing is happening when I press the submit button.
    I think it may be because I'm motion tweening the login_mc,
    so my actionscript is inside the last frames tween(I'm eventually
    dynamically programming those too, but on thing at a time, right!?)
    . Am I on track? Is this where listeners come into play,
    because I've had the most trouble with that concept as I move on to
    learning more true dynamic programming.
    ========================================================

    Hi,
    You are using onEnterFrame to attach MovieClip.
    onEnterFrame = function () {
    attachMovie("login_mc", "login_mc", 0 ,{_x:centerX,
    _y:centerY});
    gotoAndPlay("login");
    Actually what happening here is : It will attach Lot of
    movieClips with the name of login. So Access problem will occur.
    OnEnterFrame is a infinite loop. you have to Remove it manually. or
    use onLoad instead of onEnterFrame
    if your submit button is inside the login_mc. u have to use
    login_mc.submit_btn.onRelease = function();

  • Making best use of projects, folders, and albums

    I do think I understand the difference between how these function. For example, an image can be in only one project, but can be in multiple albums while in that project. Not sure if the same is true of folders. My question is how do experienced users utilized these three things to create an efficient filing system? I have one other caveat—I want to be able to sync photos manually to my iPad without have an extra layer to navigate. For example, when I created a project called iPad Photos and then had albums in the project, even though I checked only the albums for syncing, they still showed up on the iPad as nested within the Project.
    I hope this makes sense—if need be, ignore the iPad issue and please help me create a filing system that will be efficient and effective over the long haul.
    Many thanks—I know this seems simple but I am sure it would be easy to create a system that works well with 100 images but is a disaster with 1,000 images when it comes to putting those images to various kinds of use: slideshows, photo books, simple prints, etc.
    Ben

    Ben,
    have you looked at Kirby Krieger's user tip?
                     The Well-Trod Path: a Beginner's Guide to how Aperture's major parts inter-relate
    For example, an image can be in only one project, but can be in multiple albums while in that project.
    Pojects are the basic longterm storage structure - an image needs to be stored somewhere, and only once. That is, why an image and all its different versions are contained in one project. I have basically one project for each occasion - I create a new project, each time I download new images to Aperture, and related projects are grouped by folders. A typical folder with images taken during a holiday trip would have a project for each day of taking pictures at different stations of the journey.
    Albums are your own shortterm retrival structure. You group you images differently for different purposes, depending on how you want to use them.  The same image can have different uses at the same time, so it can be used in different albums. For example, a photo showing an orchid in Peru would go ino three albums: an album of Peru images, an album of flowers, and album of my latest trip to Peru. I also group my albums by folders - a folder of travel albums, a folder with thematic albums (flowers, lighthouses, vulcanos, wildlife,etc.), a folder with family albums, a folder with albums used for teaching, for research, for testing.
    Many of my albums are smart albums. Rather than adding photos manually to albums, I tag them with keywords, places, faces, and ratings, and they will be added to the corresponding albums automatically. My keywords have different flavors - there are keywords for categories (flowers, animals,landscape, buildings), for different uses (screensaver, web, books, iPad), for the technical quality (the camera or scanner, the kind of processing of raytraycing). So my album for my screensaver of lighthouse pictures would be based on the keywords _Screensaver, building:lighthouse, *****.
    Albums I sync to my iPad are also smart albums, and are not grouped with the projects but in a separate folder and also smart albums. I only sync the albums with 5* images for specific topics to the iPad. wildlife pictures, flower pictures, birds, some family meetings, travel albums.

    I have used this tool for three weeks , in the frist week. everything is ok.
    no probroblem happened. in the second week ,sometimes my JSC can not startup, so I restarted my JSC. and it can work again. later, the same problem happened again. when I restarted my JSC , it sill does not work, so I have to restart my computer and it startup successfully,
    two days later, the same problem happened again. I restarted my computer , it still did not work. so I have to change my port number in the domain.xml. sometimes it woks well, but sometimes I can't not startup.
    in the third week, no matter what I do, the problem can not be solved.

    Hi,
    Restarting the computer should have stopped the appserver.
    To kill the appserver manually you can go to the command prompt
    <install-dir>\Sun\Creator2\SunAppServer8\bin\asadmin.bat\stop-appserv
    Thanks,
    RK.

  • How to add folder in picture library programmatically

    Hi All,
    I tried to add folder using below code but getting error of "Missing FileLeaf"
    try
                    if (properties.List.Title.ToString() == Utility.ListName.Events.ToString())
                        using (SPSite objSite = properties.Site)
                            using (SPWeb objWeb = properties.Web)
                                SPListItem lstEvent = properties.ListItem;
                                string folderName = Convert.ToString(lstEvent["Title"]) + "_" + DateTime.Now.ToShortDateString();
                                if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(folderName))
                                    SPList lstEventPictures = objWeb.Lists.TryGetList(Utility.LibraryName.EventPictures.ToString());
                                    if (lstEventPictures != null)
                                        objWeb.AllowUnsafeUpdates = true;
                                        //SPListItemCollection folders = lstEventPictures.Folders;
                                        //folders.Add(lstEventPictures.RootFolder.ServerRelativeUrl
    , SPFileSystemObjectType.Folder , folderName);
                                        ///* create a folder under the path specified
                                        SPListItem folderItem = lstEventPictures.Items.Add(lstEventPictures.RootFolder.ServerRelativeUrl,
    SPFileSystemObjectType.Folder , folderName);
                                        ///* set the folder name and update */
                                        //folderItem["Title"] = folderName;
                                        folderItem.Update();
                                        lstEventPictures.Update();
                                        objWeb.AllowUnsafeUpdates = false;
                catch (Exception ex)
                    Utility.SPTraceLogError(ex);
    Help me to resolve. Thanks in advance.

    Hi DK,
    You can use below mentioned code to add folder in any of your library. You need to changes little bit code as per your requirement.
    /// <summary>
    /// Provide utilities methods related to folder management
    /// </summary>
    public static class SPFolderUtilities
        /// <summary>
        /// Ensures the specified folder exists.
        /// </summary>
        /// <param name="list">The list where to create the folder.</param>
        /// <param name="subFolderPath">The sub folder path.</param>
        /// <returns>
        /// The existing <see cref="SPFolder"/> or a newly created if it did not exists.
        /// </returns>
        public static SPFolder EnsureFolder(SPList list, string subFolderPath)
            Contract.Requires<ArgumentNullException>(list != null);
            Contract.Requires<ArgumentNullException>(!string.IsNullOrEmpty(subFolderPath));
            if (!IO.SPPathUtilities.IsFileOrFolderNameValid(subFolderPath, true))
                throw new ArgumentException("Invalid characters in the file or folder name", "subFolderPath");
            var folderPaths = subFolderPath.Split('/');
            var currentFolder = list.RootFolder;
            for (int i = 0; i < folderPaths.Length; i++)
                currentFolder = list.ParentWeb.GetFolder(currentFolder.Url); // hacky refresh
                var subFolder = currentFolder.SubFolders.Cast<SPFolder>().FirstOrDefault(f => string.Compare(f.Name, folderPaths[i], true) == 0);
                if (subFolder == null)
                    var newFolderItem = list.Items.Add(currentFolder.ServerRelativeUrl, SPFileSystemObjectType.Folder, folderPaths[i]);
                    newFolderItem.SystemUpdate();
                    subFolder = newFolderItem.Folder;
                currentFolder = subFolder;
            return currentFolder;
    And here is the specifc code that you can use for Picture library only

    yes the code sample provided by you is to create a image library and then to add a folder to it but i'm not sure with the string.empty being passed to list.items.add. i would still recommend to use the solution suggested by me. to check if library exists or
    not what you have to do is
    SPSite _MySite = new SPSite("SERVERIP");
                    using (SPWeb currentweb = _MySite.OpenWeb())
    SPList imageLib = currentweb.Lists["NewImages]
    if( imageLib == null)
    Guid listId = currentweb.Lists.Add("NewImages", "Picture Library", SPListTemplateType.PictureLibrary);
     imageLib t = currentweb.Lists[listId];
    SPDocumentLibrary
     _MyDocLibrary =
    (SPDocumentLibrary)
    imageLib ;
                     SPFolderCollection _MyFolders = _MyWeb.Folders;
                    _MyFolders.Add("http://adfsaccount:2222/My%20Images/" + <<subfolderName>> + "/");
                    _MyDocLibrary.Update();
    I hope this is helpful to you, mark it as Helpful.
    If this works, Please mark it as Answered.

  • Domain.xml gets screwed up

    Multiple times now, the Server is unable to start up. The last time it sat there, apparently in a loop greating over a 1 GB log file. Previously, I reinstalled Creator to solve the problem. The last time, I traced it to domain.xml.
    Fortunately there was a backup file that worked.
    However, I do not modify this file myself, and thus have no clue as to how to fix it. Creator manages this file, so when it gets screwed up, this is surely a bug.
    It is very frustrating, and usually occurs when my project has some error that does not allow it to deploy properly.

  • System hangs when copying large quantity of files from external HD

    A little background:
    I was having some problems with the original OS (10.4.1), including periodic freezes. I bought the Mac Box Set '09 and installed Snow Leopard (10.6.5), but ran into some problems and in the process had to reformat my internal hard drive. I backed up all of my photos (~16GB), Documents (~1.5GB) and Music (~50GB) on a WD external hard drive (My Passport 750GB).
    *The problem*: After the 10.6.5 install, the computer works great (no random freezing when I click around in Finder), but I am having trouble copying files back to the internal HD from the external. I can copy up to about 1GB at a time without any problems, but any time I try to copy more than that, the system hangs (first the spinning disk cursor, then it totally freezes) and I have to do a hard reset. I have tried copying a number of different folders (pictures and music), and the same holds true: small folders with a few files copy without a hitch, but any time I try to copy a lot of files at once: freeze city. This problem occurs whether I am using Finder to copy the files or iPhoto/iTunes to import them.
    I have verified both disks using the Disk Utility AND restructured/verified them using DiskWarrior. I also had no problem copying all of my files from My Passport to a second external HD using this MacBook, so I assume the Passport is fine. Is this a physical problem with my internal HD? If so, why can't DiskWarrior or DiskUtility catch it? I just noticed that there is an internal HD recall for this model of macbook, although I have never gotten the question mark on startup that would qualify me for a replacement HD from Apple. Maybe it's a problem with Snow Leopard... I would love to know if anyone has had this problem before or has some advice.
    Thanks,
    Sam

    External USB/FW drives 'falling off' or drives spinning down (going to sleep) and I would assume since you have been running 10.4 that the Passport might be older model, perhaps not the latest firmware, maybe not compatible with Macs and with Snow Leopard.
    Obviously you want FW800 but for some, USB worked where FW fails.
    Hard Reset: do you have another hard drive to boot from to run Disk Warrior? is that updated to 4.2 or later? you never want to run DW from CD. Else, boot from OS X 10.6.5; or Single User and run FSCK. HFS+ doesn't take kindly to hard restarts even though a Safe Boot helps a little, that isn't as good as FSCK or one of the other options.
    Disk Warrior Rebuild is more thorough, but if you hold OPTION while clicking on REBUILD it brings up more choices. And you want to scan the full hard drive.
    Going back to Aug/Sept 2009, there were a lot of threads about external hard drive issues. Wish I could point to a good one.

  • 8 issues JavaFX needs to overcome to be truly successful

    JavaFX is excellent technology but I feel it will never be broadly successful until the following issues are addressed. Note, I am referring to JavaFX running inside a browser as an applet in all these remarks.
    1. Startup Times
    They are just way too slow. On the JavaFX.com home page, the strip of demo thumbnails at the bottom of the page takes over 30 seconds to start on both my Windows machines. I don't think too many people have the time to wait for them to load and will probably navigate to another page wondering what that blank blue strip at the bottom of the page is used for. The Flash versions on the full demos page load almost instantly.
    2. Performance
    It's just way too slow. All the JavaFX.com demos are designed as tiny little applet windows for a reason: as the size of the applet window increases the performance degrades significantly. As a result, JavaFX cannot be seriously considered for a "real" web application which would occupy the entire space available in the browser as it would be simply too sluggish.
    3. JRE
    Obviously JavaFX requires a JRE which has its own inherent problems.
    * Only a subset of desktop PCs have a JRE installed.
    * The JRE is large and takes a long time to download and install.
    * Installing the JRE requires the user to close the browser and then reopen it. If the user has 10 tabs open at the time, this is very inconvenient. Installing Flash does not require this.
    * I believe JavaFX requires Java 6 Update 10 or greater but a large number of people are very reluctant to keep upgrading their JREs and some are stuck on Java 5 or even 1.4.
    4. Progress Indicators
    Are there any? The JavaFX strip I referred to in (1) just appears as blank blue right up until the applet has fully loaded. It clearly needs some kind of progress indicator so that the user knows that something is actually happening. The same applies when a video is being downloaded like in the MediaBox demo. There is just a static screen while this is happening and the user has no way of knowing if the applet is even alive.
    5. Video
    I have tried the JavaFX.com demo MediaBox on 3 machines, a Windows Vista machine, a Windows XP machine and a Ubuntu machine. On the Vista machine running this demo actually crashes the JVM with a "The Java Runtime has stopped working" message and no video is displayed. On the XP machine it thinks for a couple of minutes and then displays a message "The video could not be played at this time". On the Ubuntu machine the demo crashes with a MediaNotSupported exception. That's 3 out of 3 machines that get no video. Does this ever work?
    On an XP machine where I managed to get video to work locally, there appears to be no proper buffering of the video before it's played. It appears to try to download the entire clip before it starts to play it. Clealy this is not going to be satisfactory over the internet.
    6. Dynamic Scipting
    To accomplish true dynamic scripting it appears the applet needs to download the full JavaFX Script compiler (yet another large JAR) and even then it appears to encounter security exceptions that prevent it from running in an applet context.
    7. Fonts
    They are not rendered clearly. Despite what many people claim, JavaFX fonts are not rendered with subpixel antialiasing on any platform I have tried and as a result look blurred and poor. Fonts in JavaFX are just not up to standard for a professional quality application.
    8. Quirks
    One such quirk is that every time I go to run a JavaFX demo it asks me to confirm installation of the JavaFX runtime. Surely once is enough. Another quirk is that when I want to view video I have to OK a security warning. A security warning just to play a video? Not exactly user friendly.
    Would anyone like to comment on these issues? I am very keen to commit to JavaFX as it has some truly excellent features but I need to know that these problems are going to be addressed in the near future.

    Hi PhiLho,
    PhiLho wrote:
    Comparing JavaFX to Flash on the pervasiveness ground is a bit unfair. Adobe did a great marketing job in persuading browser makers to distribute it with them. Although if you make a Flash applet needing Flash 9 (for example), and only have Flash 6 installed, you might fall on the inconvenience you describe in 3.True, but the point about Java's pervasiveness was probably the least important of the 8 issues.
    Somehow, it would be fairer to compare JavaFX to Silverlight... :-)Agreed.
    Installing JavaFX runtime (and perhaps Java JRE) might be an issue for small, casual applets, less for "serious" applications where users are motivated to use them. And well, it is mostly true for lot of plugins.Yes but having to close the current browser window is not desirable and hopefully will be addressed.
    1) I agree and JavaFX team agree, looks like Sun is working hard to improve that (on the latest JRE versions) and it might even more improve with Java 7 (with the modularity feature).This really does need to be addressed. Java 6 Update N (10) did wonders for Java startup times in general but there still seems to be an issue here with JavaFX applets. I don't expect that they will ever be fully comparable to Flash and as you point out they don't really need to be but for many of the intended uses of JavaFX startup times need to improve significantly.
    2) Not very fair here. Full screen Flash applets are even more sluggish! Some benchmarks tend to show that JavaFX is much faster than Flash and Silverlight. It was true with 1.0, it is even more with 1.2 and it looks that the JavaFX team works hard to improve even further.I have seen some awesome full-screen Flash applets with no obvious performance issues, I am just not confident the same can be achieved with JavaFX and this is where it needs to excel IMHO. I have not worked with Silverlight so I cannot really comment on its relative performance. Do you have a link to an article detailing those benchmarks? I am not doubting your claim, I'd just like to see them.
    Beside, I don't think a "real" Web application need to do full screen animations, it is more about forms and simple graphical effects.Yes but, as I said, performance of all effects and even simple animations degrades significantly as the applet gets bigger. This is of course to be expected but still needs to improve as I don't see JavaFX being used very often for banners or tiny little applets.
    Of course, we all want better performance in any case.So true!
    3) According to Adobe itself, Java is installed on 81% of computers, which isn't too bad (but much less than the advertised 99% for Flash, but see my first paragraph...). Now, the JRE has to be not too antique, of course. At least Sun has an auto-update ensuring users (that follow it) are not left behind. Note that JavaFX requirement is to run with Java 1.5 (with degraded functionality: no drag to desktop, transparent window, etc.).Yes, it really needs 1.6u10 to perform properly. Java is very ubiquitous but, as I said, many people are still on 1.4, 5 or earlier versions of 6. I guess they have updating turned off or ignore the prompts. Many people are of the impression that their applet or application will only work with earlier versions of Java and not the most recent releases which is quite wrong of course. We need to somehow bust that myth!
    4) I have seen a loading screen in JavaFX, although it was more about progress of data loading than progress of applet loading...Well it's the applet loading that needs to be visualised especially given how long they take to start up. As I said, just clear your JAR cache and load the JavaFX.com homepage and you'll see what I mean.
    5) Not tried much video, can't comment on it.Video is critical in my usage of JavaFX.
    6) Not sure what you mean by dynamic scripting.Being able to create components, objects and effects and animations directly from source at run time. This can be done but doesn't work in applets and requires the full JavaFX Script compiler which is another large JAR to download.
    7) I have seen hacks to make that.Any references? I am extremely fussy about font rendering.
    8) I don't have your problem, it uses the installed runtime without asking. And early demos were heavy on the signing side, requesting unnecessary confirmations for simple animations. Good JNLP tuning avoids that.I get a notification for each applet I run. Clicking on OK or Accept doesn't seem to actually do anything.

  • Scheduling File Sender Adapter

    <b>Hai expertise,
          We need to send image files from different local PC's (whose IP address is dynamic) to Document Storage System through XI.
    1) we have to use HTTP sender (Java program which pick current IP address of system and file names from folder to XI in XML format).
    2) XI has to pick the files and depends on response from BAPI files has to be moved to other folders in local machine (from where XI has picked the files)
            Is there any way to pick the payload value to one feild of File sender adapter?
           will it work through Adapter Specific Message Attributes?
             But ASMA is for dynamic folders and dynamic filenames we need to set dynamic FTP IP address to FTP Server name of File Sender adapter.
           Is this functionality be achieved without adapter module creation?
          One more approach we though is that "XI will get XML data of IP address where file resides and file names in the form of XML, which we are polled by server proxy and using that IP address in proxy can we use do FTP copy and moving files from one folder to other depends on BAPI response". Will this work as the BAPI as to execute in backgroung to get files from local windows based machine to sever for FTP copy????
    File sender adapter has to be triggered, when HTTP sender sends the data to XI, Is this possible???
    Can we use File Sender adapter, when HTTP sender sends the data to XI in the same interface?
    Picking files from static folders, filenames but dynamic FTP Servers, is this possible through standard File Sender Adapter?
    Please advice.. its urgent...

  • Document Management System (DMS) Explorer.

    I am facing the following problem in portal while connecting the DMS Explorer in Knowledge management.
    At the front end after configuring DMS, the documents are visible once the DMS is User Mapped with the user, but if user mapping is not done then a System Error is coming at the front end.
    This is the only problem that I dont want System Error even when the DMS is not user mapped.
    Some different screen should come.
    The Error looks like this:::

    There's been some progress on this, though we still didn't solve it. I leave the answer to the previous question so that there's a record that could be useful for others.
    The problem of the variants not being displayed was due to the language of the portal user. The variants were defined in Spanish in the R3 DMS and the user we were using to log into the portal had the English language set. Once we put the Portal user language to Spanish variants appeared in the Dynamic Folder in the SAP EP.
    The problem we are facing now is that the variants are shown but no Document is displayed hanging on them in the KM "Document Explorer" iView under the "Dynamic Folders" folder. If we make the same operation from within the R3 DMS we get the documents listed on R3 for those same variants.
    We are trying this with a very simple classification. We just added a Query-Based taxonomy to our index with a single folder and a query selecting only the Documents with the document class (dokar) especified for our documents. The index says that documents are being correctly indexed but as I just said none of them appears under the variants presented in the Dynamic Folder in the Portal.
    Best regards,
    Ibai

  • Application stops responding

    Hello there:
    I have the following issue, I have got a large application running on a Sun App Serv 9.0 on a Sun Blade 8000, this application contans EJBs Enterprise Application as well as JSP's, the Database is an AS/400 and i use the open source JT400 to work , it works fine, but then for some reason the web container stops responding, i can still access other applications that does not use the conection pool (as well as the admin console). I have tried to add more connections, still yet nothing... The Db admin told me that the objets remains oppened.
    Once I restart the APP server the applications works again for some time, on the server.log there is no pattern to describe which can tell me what is happening.
    On The OS.. there is nothing that can tell me something, I have reviewed the app9 perf tuneup document and maded the changes tho the OS as well as some changes to the app Serv...
    The two connections that i use are Conexion_BD y jdbc as400
