Trusted App key on test server
Hi,
I'm using the the SOAP services on the test server (151.155.5.234) and instead of using individual logins, I would prefer to login using a Trusted App key.
Is there a Trusted App key available to use on the test server?
Thanks,
Paul
Sorry, my time restraints don't allow me to look into
the issue. If you want to try trusted application
logins, I would suggest you get an evaluation copy of
GroupWise and try it on that.
I can't remember the password I used to setup the server.
If I need to do anything with the server, I would need to
do a fresh install. Setting up the server so that it can
sit outside the firewall takes a lot of time. Time that I
don't have now.
I believe there is still a 5 user evaluation copy of
GroupWise that you can get.

Hello, I've successfully configured the Custom Trust and Key Store on one server (hosting OpenSSO,) but when I follow the exact same directions to configure the Custom Trust and Key Store on another server (hosting Identity Manager with OpenSSO policy agent) WebLogic pre-empts my configuration by loading the DemoTrust.jks and cacerts keystores. I think the issue is introduced because the OpenSSO policy agent requires an Authentication Provider (Agent_Authenticator, com.sun.identity.agents.weblogic.v10.AmWLAuthProvider) that is loaded before the WebLogic domain's config/config.xml file, which contains the Custom Trust and Key Store entities.
Thanks.
A part of the log file showing that these two stores are loaded before the custom identity and trust stores are loaded:

The root problem is the Certicom SSL does not support SHA256 algorithm, which is required with the trusted certificates of “ttelesecglobalrootclass2ca" and "ttelesecglobalrootclass3ca"
A fix is included in JDK 1.6.0_13 wherein WLS just ignores these certificates.
You can get more information on the fix for Oracle Support
You can delete these certificates yourself using the keytool utility..Thank you. I removed them all, but WebLogic still loads the Demo and JDK keystores and not the custom keystores before loading the security realm.
Is there a way to specify the KeyStores for the security realm?
I've provided the following to the JVM but to no avail:

Password=***** -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=/export/home/weblogic/keystore/keystore.jks -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType=jks -Dj

On-premise High-trust App and 401 (appredirect.aspx) for anomyous user
Hello,
I've developed a provider hosted App. The App can be used by authenticated and anonymous users. On my development platform the App is working in both cases as expected. Then I configured a new test Server (I did all the steps for high trusted Apps) and installed
the new App (Register app, created a new package in Visual Studio, did the changes for the TokenHelper class and so on). Now, the App ist working for authenticated users only. For anonymous users the appredirect page is asking for credentials. The SharePoint
log contains only a few Information about the problem:
client_id: i:0i.t|ms.sp.ext|..... and instance_id:
https://xxx/Pages/AppPartPage.aspx?SPHostUrl=http%3A%2F%2FXXXXXXX%2FDE%2FSP2013Standard&SPHostTitle=SP2013%20Standard%20Layout&SPAppWebUrl=""&SPLanguage=de%2DCH&SPClientTag=1&SPProductNumber=15%2E0%2E4420%2E1017&wpId=g%5F5b8feaca%5F038f%5F473d%5F8001%5F0a91849f9a05&editmode=0&SenderId=1DD84F040

redirectLaunUrl after getting it from query string, web or app instance:
https://remote-domain-app/Pages/AppPartPage.aspx?SPHostUrl=http%3A%2F%2FXXXXXXX%2FDE%2FSP2013Standard&SPHostTitle=SP2013%20Standard%20Layout&SPAppWebUrl=""&SPLanguage=de%2DCH&SPClientTag=1&SPProductNumber=15%2E0%2E4420%2E1017&wpId=g%5F5b8feaca%5F038f%5F473d%5F8001%5F0a91849f9a05&editmode=0&SenderId=1DD84F040
redirectLaunUrl after getting token replacement:

m_oauthAppId after NormalizeAppIdentifier() i:0i.t|ms.sp.ext|548...... Now getting app principal info.
decided that we need to do a POST to the app.
NOTHING MORE
The remote IIS web allows anonymous access and I can open the remote web site as anonymous user. Tried to set the the App Principal permission again, but without luck. When the remote web is stopped the 401 error still exist - no other error.
I've no idea what I can check next.Hi,
You can use PowerShell to get the AppPrincipal.
$targetWeb = Get-SPSite "http://dev.my.com"
$clientID = "82ea34fc-31ba-4e93-b89a-aa41b023fa7e"
$authRealm = Get-SPAuthenticationRealm -ServiceContext $targetWeb
$AppIdentifier = $clientID + "@" + $authRealm
$appPrincipal = Get-SPAppPrincipal -Site $targetWeb.RootWeb -NameIdentifier $AppIdentifier
I suggest you try to delete the app and use the following PowerShell script to install the APP.

Having issues with adding new BB users /address books on 4.1.6.22 BES with GW7 client.
(Our GW server is GW8SP1HP1 on NW6.5SP8 with eDir 8.85)
I followed "Solving Trusted Key Issues with BB Server and ConsoleOne[" Cool Solution about generating a new Trusted App but the generated key will not paste into server's key field on BES because it is not the correct format.
So I found a few docs showing how the key is based on the RIM BES Trusted App GUID and where to find it in ConsoleOne (Tools, GW Diags, Record Enumerations, select Trusted Apps by name then Info. ).However,it seems there is no GUID to be found. I also did a search by GUID under the Record Enumerations and eventually found an object with an empty GUID that showed the RIM BES info. So it appears my system isn't creating a usable GUID for this object.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get a usable key?Are you installing the BES and having troubles with the key? I have only
used C1 to delete the trusted key and used the key generator provided by
RIM, it should be in: C:\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Key
Generator Application from were the installation package unpackaged the
install.
Now it's important to run the key generator on a PC that has the Novell
client installed, so I often have copied that directory to a PC that has it
and so far I have never had any issue.
Once generated and the key copied to the prompt during installation, you
should be good to go; there shouldn't be anything you need to do after that,
if it works for one user, it should work for everyone?

'Unable to connect to database server' on local test server (CS4)
I am a php/MySql newb. Have designed static sites in DW since Macromedia DW 4 days.
I have set up a testing server on my Mac running OSX 10.6.7 using MAMP 1.9.5 and Dreamweaver CS4 to test my osCommerce store (I like to see what's happening visually, even if I just change a small variable in the code). Although I have imported the store database from my remote server, and the connection tests in the DW Database window to the store, mysql, and information schema databases in Dreamweaver are successful, I still get "Unable to connect to the database server!" when I try to preview a .php page with Live View or with a browser. I'm using the correct ports in my site definition (8888 and 8889). MAMP shows Apache and MySQL running, of course. Have tried logging in as root and as my ususal username witht the correct passwords. Everything seems to be right...but it's still wrong.
Do I also need to import the mysql and information schema databases from my remote server to replace the ones that came with MAMP? If so, where do I put the information schema db? Although it shows as a database in PhpMyAdmin, I don't see a folder or doc by that name anywhere in MAMP - it must be buried pretty deep! (I did find a file called information_schema_relations.lib.php in MAMP/bin/phpMyAdmin/libraries. Is that it?)
Or is it something else entirely?
Note that though I'm a fairly savvy user, I am not a developer or coder. Strictly a GUI/static design guy with a liberal arts education. Keep the answers simple and in plain English, thanks.
Have also posted this on the MAMP forum.Hi Kanstantin,
Ieve tested the database connectivity through sqlplus using SYSTEM. But when I try to connect (Mount the repositiry server from MDM console, I facing the problem mentioned.
Please let me know if I need to do anything else.

Setting up local web test server
Hi All,
Apologies if this should go in installation and setup but here goes.
Running 10.3.9.
Httpd running
MySQL server running
PHP enabled
I'm trying to set up a local testing server on my G4 powerbook so I can do my mods and just occasionally ftp up the code, say, once a week.
I've started personal web sharing and can access my local site's index page ok (i.e. http://mymachine.local/~me/website/ ). That's all fine.
But I've installed the oscommerce app under my web directory and unless I have a connection toi the net then it just doesn't want to know.
So calling up " http://mymachine/local/~me/website/catalog/index " gives me a nothing if I don't have an internet connection.
I think I have set everything up as I should to have a local testing server for web apps :- Personal web sharing enabled, MySQL sorted, PHP sorted.
Does anyone know what I might need to do further or perhaps point me in the right direction?
Much appreciated.Try using http://localhost/local/~me/website/catalog/index . It may be that your original link doesn't work because your machine is trying to look up the IP-address of "mymachine" using DNS, and that won't work if you're off-line; "localhost" is a synonym for "127.0.0.1", which is the "loopback address" -- it always means your own machine. No DNS lookup required, no real network interface required, so it should work whether you're on-line or not.

OAS 10gR2 and e-Biz app tier on same server
I seem to have some sort of contention on my application server and I was wondering if anybody might have a suggestion on how to verify my setup or troubleshoot.
I have a Red Hat ES 4 32-bit server that is running an 11.5.10.2 e-Biz application tier. This install was done by our e-Biz dba who has since left the company.
I have since installed OAS 10gR2 for another application with the intent that we would share this server.
This has been done successfully on our Test server with no issues but the app tier is not being shutdown every night like it is in Production.
However I have had a couple of situations where after my e-Biz application was restarted over night it was found to not be working in the morning with this error:
'JSP error: Request URI:/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp'
I tired to stop/start the e-Biz app tier but no go. The fix was to stop my oracle OAS server and stop/start the 11i e-Biz applicaztion tier.
CLARIFICATION:
The port pool assigned on this server is 0 I guess (as it uses 8000) and that url always works (servername:8000), it is the E-Business Home Page that fails and generates that JSP error.
I don't think it is HW related but more of a configuration issue. I know I can check my ports assigned in OAS via $OH/install/portlist but I'm not sure how to check the 'port pool' assigned by e-Biz.
Just wondering what I should verify or double-check configuration wise. The e-Biz app stops/starts every night for backups and has worked in conjunction with the OAS for the past week until today. I likely do not need to shutdown the app tier every night for backups but that would just mask the underlying issue.
We use a different userid for the financials configuration versus the OAS config and each env uses it's own oraInventory and directory structure etc.
I was thinking of using netstat to see what ports are in use before and after restarts and look into the 'net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range = 1024 65000' value set in the /etc/sysctl.conf file.
Any other suggestions?

Added CLARIFICATION section. My understanding with Financials is when you setup the app tier you pick a port pool (0 corresponds to port pool starting with 8000 etc. and port pool 4 would be 8004 etc.).
So in my case when I launch http://servername:8001 I get the Oracle Rapid Install Portal. So maybe that is port pool 1in my case (I'll research that).
If I pick 'Apps Logon Links' and then E-Business Home Page it takes me to http://servername:8001/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp which normally works.
It only fails sometimes and that seems to be in relation to my OAS install as it was added recently and shutting it down temporarily fixed the problem.
They are both running successfully again now. -
Mobile Phone App and Azure MFA Server
I currently have directory sync enabled between my on-premise AD environment and Azure Active Directory, and also enabled multi-factor authentication on my profile. I installed PhoneFactor on my mobile device and am able to use it to verify my identity when
logging into my O365 OWA account.
I recently installed and configured the Multi-Factor Authentication Server to enable RADIUS requests for VPN connections, and have successfully tested MFA using the phone call method (when I connect via VPN client, I provide credentials, and receive a call
to verify my identity, press # and connection is accepted).
What am having trouble doing is using the mobile app as a method for verification. When I try to connect, I immediately receive 'Login Failed,' and there are no indications in PhoneFactor for an authentication request.
In the MFA Server logs, I see two entries:
No device configured for user '[email protected]'
PfAuth failed for user '[email protected]'. Call status: SKIPPED_USER_INCOMPLETE - "User lacks information required for phone auth".
I have read guidelines on creating a user portal within my network for self-registration, but I was hoping I could just use the Azure-provided portal.
Anyone have any ideas why this may be happening? At present, the MFA Server user enrollment is completely separate from Azure AD. If you want to use the mobile app with the MFA Server, you need to install the User Portal so that users can generate activation codes and set their MFA method to mobile app.
Also, for users to activate their mobile apps, you have to install the Mobile App Web Service, which communicates with the MFA Server via the Web Service SDK to validate the activation code generated in the User Portal. Here are links for installing the User
Portal and Mobile App Web Service.

unlike in eclipse or netbeans. please correct me if i'm wrong. You're wrong. I don't recommend you dragging'n'dropping tho.
and another can i just deploy jsp files in netbeans without having to make it .war files to deploy to sun app server. What do you mean with "deploy in Netbeans"? Netbeans is an IDE, not an application server. -
Can't link to DB on Testing Server
I am trying to develop dynamic pages including a login page,
but have contunual problems trying to test my setup on my local
testing server. I am using MS Access, Vista, IIS7 and .asp pages
When I test using the local DSN the connection is fine and
the tables are accessible. If I try to test using DSN on the
testing server I get the following error message.
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]Disk or network

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Driver's SQLSetConnnectAttr

I think the problem may have something to do with security
access settings, but am totally lost as to what the solution might
be.can u set as specified here

I've set up the *&*%$ testing server - now can I please add a recordset?
I run into this problem occasionally with DW. I set up an asp
site using aspVBscript. When I go to add server behaviors the
application box has the first two item s ticked (Create a site for
this file, and Choose a document type) but the third, "Set up the
site's testing server" is not, yet I have set up the testing server
(several times). It is the same testing server settings I use on
several of my other sites and they are fine. Why could DW be
insisting I have not set this up? I've tried closing down the app
and restarting, but it still thinks I have not entered the testing
server settings for the site and so won't let me add server
behaviors.
Anybody have any ideas why this is happening and what I could
do to fix?
BTW i'm using Dreamweaver CS3 on a windows XP pro SP2
machine. Windows 2003 IIS 6.0 server is where the site
resides. What happens when you browse to
http://localhost?
What happens when you browse to your site prefix as specified
in the testing
server setup?

Hi All,
I have created a custom web part in VS 2008 for Share point server 2010 with DevExpress v12.2.17, and deployed as Sandboxed solution. when i add that web parts in web part zone i am getting the error as "Web Part Error:
Unhandled exception was thrown by the sandboxed code wrapper's Execute method in the partial trust app domain: An unexpected error has occurred. ".
If there is any way to get detailed error either log file or event viewer.
Kindly advice to find the cause of the problem.
Thanks,
Selvakumar.SHello,
Are you impersonating your code? Have you tried to debug your code by attaching SPUCHostService.exe? if not please do so.
You also need to check ULS log for more information about this error. Here is one ref link if this could help

Migrating from Development to Test Server
Hi
I have developed an OA extension page and deployed it.
But now once I want to move my extension page from development to test server how do I do it. My doubts are because:
While developing the pages I specified the connection username and password which is stored in the bc4j.xcfg file.
What is the best way to deploy the OA Extension pages in respect to migration.
Thanks
AbhiYes my concern is the DB connection!
My doubt is because of the following entry in the bc4j.xcfg file.

<BC4JConfig>
<ConnectionDefinition name="DEV">

develop

</ConnectionDefinition>
</BC4JConfig>
So while migrating to test server will i have to modify this file or this entry is required because we are using jdeveloper on the local machine.
Can you tell me the relevance of this config file.
Thanks
Abhi
