Applets can only connect to the server it came from:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission your.web.server.com resolve)
indicates that the applet connects to a server other than the one it came from.

Trying to access 10gr2 database from sqlplus utility but it connects to 11g

I am facing below issue while access 10gr2 database from sqlplus.
I am having two oracle homes on one server one belongs to 11gr2 and another belongs to 10gr2.
I want to access a 10gr2 database through sqlplus utility.but instaed of connecting to 10gr2 it is connecting to 11gr2 after I enter a user name and passowrd.
I have set all the env variables such as oracle_home ,oracle_sid and path with respect to Oracle 10gr2.
Can you please let me kno what I need to do to connect to 10gr2 database and not 11gr2 database through sql plus.
Let me know if I need to give any more details on this.

I got the resolution.
I made a mistake by creating an oracle instance/service(e.g. fsdmo) when Oracle_home was pointing to 11gR2 Directory.so that service was refering to 11gr2 oracle home.
hence when I was setting oracle_sid(fsdmo) and trying to access database instance from 11g sqlplus utility ,it was directing to 11g and not 10g since oracle service was pointing to 11g.
So now after chnaging the oracle home directory to 11g,I am creating a service and its working fine.

I have a MacBook purchased in 2009 with Snow Leopard. I tried to access "special characters" from the Finder menu and an intermittent blank pop ups and will not stop. It also happens when I run Word or Pages.

The blank pop up began as I tried to access "special characters" from the finder menu. I restarted, turned off and restarted and it did not work. It interferes with any application because I cannot work fast. Every new step takes a few seconds longer such as saving, finding text, check spelling and many more. I am desperate to solve this. Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.

Version 4 is oh so old.
The IRS and many other providers of forms are using products like LIveCycle which require at least version 7.05.

Trying to access my 851w from outside my lan, but can access inside fine

Hi,
I purchased a 851w to use as my home router and to learn more about the cisco IOS. I have been spending some time studying for CCENT/CCNA and so far I have enjoyed learning as I go. However, I am having problems accessing this router from a remote location via ssh. I can access it just fine from my lan, but not outside it from another location. Currently, I am not using this router for internet access or anything else other than learning about the IOS, and it is connected to a basic dlink wireless router dir-615. I have port forwarding setup on the dlink that any traffic coming in on port 22 is directed to the 851w at 192.168.0.150. I also have the 851w connected with a crossover cable to a switch that is connected to the dlink router.
Like I said, I can connect just fine from my lan, but can't connect from outside. I have tried a few different things but nothing works. I also use Teraterm to connect, but have tried Putty too. I also use ddns to access it, but I have also tried the wan ip address of the dlink with no luck.
Could someone please take a look at my very basic running config and explain what I might need to do different?

ip default-gateway 192.168.0.1
Wouldn't it automatically send anything it doesn't know about to the 192.168.0.0/24 router?
I have one of the switch ports, Fast Ethernet 0, connected to another switch connected to the dlink router. I have tried different ports but it didn't change anything. I don't have anything connected to the wan port of the 851w. I was trying to simulate remote access of a switch on an internal network. My next step would be to make the 851w my default router and then try to access it from the outside, but I wanted to succeed this way first.

Trying to access e-mail from my phone

I don't know what's been done recently with Verizon's remote websites, but it needs to be undone. Until very recently, I was able to check my e-mail by pulling up webmail.verizon.com on my phone's browser and signing in just as I would from a computer. Now, if I try that, it automatically redirects to m.verizon.com/PAMMobile/presignin.aspx, which tells me to "Please wait while we load your offers" AND NEVER MOVES AGAIN.
I've tried calling Verizon about this and gotten nowhere. The first time it happened, I spent literally an hour searching around the site (from my desktop computer) trying without success to find some way to report this.
When it happened again today, I decided to leave the browser open on the phone while I signed onto my computer and tried to find a way to report this (Oh, good, I have to pick a User ID for the forums now, what fun--and it can't be the one I already HAVE to access the site. Delightful.). The page has now been asking me to wait while it loads my offers for 25 minutes.
I don't WANT to wait while it loads whatever those offers are, I WANT TO ACCESS MY E-MAIL. When I'm trying to access it on my phone, it's because I'm either away from a computer or don't want the distractions that come with being online. I JUST WANT TO READ MY E-MAIL!
FIX THIS. FIX IT NOW.

In regards to using the Email client in your phone. Mine is ATT 3G Iphone 4. When the iPhone client pulls up the Email, it acts almost like IMAP, where if the message is large, it only partially downloads so you can see what it is, and then it provides the option to download the rest. Which helps with your usage if you are concerned with your monthly usage. Not sure of your phone type. The webmail on the phone will more than likely consume much more of your monthly allotment. Just be sure to set the client to leave messages on the server. This way they will still be available for your mail client at home, or webmail at a later date.
If your phone does not have a mail app, depending on the OS, I would try to download one if possible. Anything web related on the phone will use more bandwidth to pull in the graphics. Save your bandwidth and use a mail application, where the mail system graphics reside on your phone.

401 Unauthorized Message - when trying to access asmx-webservice from a SP 2013 Workflow

Hello everybody!
I made a workflow for sharepoint 2013, including the "call http web service"-action. Therein I am trying to access https://mysp.com/sites/mysite/_vti_bin/lists.asmx via GET Request. So nothing fancy one might think, but somehow it is:
I am logging the response code returned from the request which gives me a 401 unauthorized.
It is the same with every other asmx webservice (like webpartpages.asmx or copy.asmx).
If I GET a REST webservice like /_api/lists it works fine.
Also if I do the same GET request to the asmx from browser or any other client (like Postman App from Google Chrome) it works fine.
Is there some kind of special issue when authorizing from a workflow to asmx?
or how do I authorize my workflow against a asmx - webservice?
My environment: I am working with Sharepoint Online 2013 and Sharepoint Designer 2013.

Trying To Access Time Machine From Replacement iMac

Hi There,
I had an issue with my iMac that could only be resolved by replacing the unit. I used the Migration Assistant to transfer the data then tried to access my Time Capsule to use Time Machine. I keep getting the error,"The Backup Disk Image Cannot Be Created". It recognizes the Time Capsule, but cannot create the backup image. I cannot use the other solution, with the Ctrl-Click...Browse Other Time Machines, as it does not see another time Machine. It recognizes the Time Capsule, but cannot create the disk image.

For backups on a Time Capsule, you may have to mount the sparsebundle first.
Open Finder. Click on Time Capsule -> Time Capsule Disk -> yourbackup.sparsebundle. Double-click on it and press Skip when prompted. Your sparsebundle should now be mounted on your Desktop.
Try to +Browse Other Time Machine disks+ via the ctrl-click on the TM icon.

I'm using IE 8 on my dev enviroment (win server 2003). I can't access my spo site from IE, everything worked fine a while ago. Tried Chrome and it works fine, so it's just IE. I've cleared cookies/added site to trusted etc but nothing works.

What error message or error code do you receive?
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. Check the IE Add-ons. We could disable the Add-one temporarily and check if the issue still exists.

Error while trying to access our inbox from nbwc

Hi all,
After doing a local client copy of client 400 into client 500 (using SAP_CUS and then SAP_USER profiles) we’re receiving the following error whenever we try to access the inbox of some users in nwbc transaction.
This is happening in a GRC 10.

ClassNotFoundException when trying to access applet (jar) from a jsp page?

I have my applet in a jar file and I am specifying the applet tag in my jsp page as follows:

I tried with and without the codebase. The jar file is at the same location as the jsp page which has the above applet tag, however I get a ClassNotFoundException in the Sun Java Console in Internet Explorer. Any inputs on resolving this will be much appreciated.

This can happen if the applet is compiled using an higher version of java and the browser is pointing to an older version (even if minor version number is higher)

i badly need help in embedding my swf in html , because it keeps saying that my object is undefined.

i am trying to embed it that way, the swf is showing but the javascripts and functions are not working..
please help. i already tried using the AC FL RunContent, yes it is showing but i can't postion my items using this

Getting an error when tried to access task form from worklist app

Hi All,
I am using 10.1.3.4 BPEL PM. I have created a bpel process with a human task.
From the worklist application, when the approver clicks on: Task Id (ideally it should open task form).
In my case, I am getting an error:
Error while inoking URL to display the content. Error while invoking URL. http://bluejays.appsassociates.com:7780/default/EditPayloadPOC1/v2009_05_21__82618/EditPayloadPOC1/EditPayloadPOC1.jsp Check the underlying exception and correct the error. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable..
If you need more information, please check with your administrator with the following exception-identifier: "2009/05/21_12:16:43:777_oc4jadmin"
It works fine in SOA suite 10.1.3.1. and does not work in BPEL PM 10.1.3.4
The only difference is I deployed in 10.1.3.1 using Ant script of bpel project and in 10.1.3.4 I deployed using the BPEL Console itself by browsing the project jar(Since I am getting error when tried to deploy it using Ant).
Is it a known bug or am I making anything wrong. Tried with both Autogeneration and Custom form

Hi does your bpel process has more than one human tasks, e.g., HumanTask1, HumanTask2, HumanTask3...then pl. check and manually fix this below ...e.g.,
check for all of the human tasks workflow contexts tasks forms for dynamic pointers for
domain_id, process_id, process_version.

ERROR WHEN TRYING TO ACCESS A FORM FROM A SCHEMA OTHER THAN APPS.

We are having a archive schema and we want the same standard form to be used to point
to this scehma and get teh details of archive orders. what are the basic setups
that needs to be done to achieve this.
What are the basic grants and setups that we will have to provide
when we do this.
What we have tried is that the datagroup for the responisbility of the form is attached to the Custom schema.
But We are getting some errors.
Errors are given below are received when i click and try to access the form.
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist has been detected in FND_GLOBAL.Initialize
APP-FND-09126The Custom event WHEN-RESPONSIBILITY-CHANGED raised unhandled excpetion. ORA-04067: not excuted,stored procedure PUBLIC.FND_DEBUG does not exist.
Please help!!

Thanks for your update.Do ihave to give grants for all the standard objects also. How do i find what are the objects that i will have to give grants? I tried taking trace but it doesnt show any SQL's.

TimeCapsule - trying to access old data from new mac

I just got a new MBP after my previous one got severely corrupted and became un-recoverable.
I migrated all my data over from the Time Capsule, but immediately after the new MBP started showing the same symptoms as the dead one. Apple tech suggest wipe and clean re-installing Mavericks. I did and it works fine.
I have spent all day reloading software and some data from other discs, but there is some stuff that is only on the Time Capsule now. Problem is - i cannot find it on the Time Capsule.
When i try connecting to TC it lists a SparsediskImage named to match the new computer not the old one, even though the created date is for the old mac. It has 941gb of data, yet it wont let me look any further back than today.
Is there any way to access the data that is in TC and just rescue those few useful files?

You should never use Mavericks Time Machine over an old backup.
Mount the sparsebundle in Finder and you can manually open it to an earlier date and extract info from it.
