I have been trying to access Bridge Base Online. When I try to access the site, the message "blocked plug-in," comes up. How can I get rid of this message?
Prior to this, I have had no problems with the site.Click on the "blocked plug-in" text and follow the instructions in the dialog box which appears.

HTTP 403 when trying to access a protected resource
I'm setting up a very simple enviornment to test the basic functionalities of Access Manager 7.1 but I keep on getting an "HTTP 403 forbidden" error when trying to access a protected resouce. I think I've set the required policies, rules, etc., but still, I may have missed a step. Any ideas / advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Here's my setup and steps I took.
iamsys05.iamtest.com ¡V policy server, Access Manager 7.1 Update 1
iamsys06.iamtest.com ¡V protected resource, Apache 2.2.8 web server
On Policy Server (iamsys05):
1. Created ¡§Apache Policy 1¡¨ on top-level realm.
2. Under Apache Policy 1, created rule ¡§apache root¡¨ with service type = URL Policy agent and resource name: http://iamsys06.iamtest.com:8080/*
3. Under Apache Policy 1, created subjects ¡§all users¡¨ with type=Acess Manager Identity Subject and selected all users under the realm. One of these users is amAdmin.
4. Created agent profile user ¡§webagent¡¨ on top-level realm (amserver) [amserver ³ Subjects ³ Agent ].
5. Created user ¡§webagent¡¨ on top-level realm [amserver ³ Subjects ³ User].
6. Created role ¡§webagentrole¡¨ on top-level realm [amserver ³ Subjects ³ Role].
7. Assigned user ¡§webagent¡¨ to role ¡§webagentrole¡¨.
8. Set the privileges for webagentrole to ¡§Read and write access to all realm and policy properties¡¨
9. Added the webagent user account to com.sun.identity.authentication.special.users in AMConfig.properties file.
com.sun.identity.authentication.special.users=
cn=dsameuser,ou=DSAME Users,dc=sun, dc=com|cn=amService-UrlAccessAgent,ou=DSAME Users,dc=sun,dc=com |uid=dmgr,ou=people,dc=sun,dc=com|uid=webagent,ou=People,dc=amserver,dc=com
10. Restarted amserver application.
On Protected Resource (iamsys06):
1. Installed Apache 2.2.8 web server and set listening port to 8080. Tested by opening http://iamsys06.iamtest.com:8080. Home page displayed (It works!)
2. Installed Policy Agent for Apache 2.2.
3. Restarted apache 2.2 web server
4. Opened http://iamsys06.iamtest.com:8080.
5. Browser redirected to http://iamsys05:9080/amserver/UI/Login?goto=http%3A%2F%2Fiamsys06.iamtest.com%3A8080%2F
6. Access Manager login page displayed
7. Entered a valid ID and password (amadmin). This is the Access manager admin account I use to login to the AM Admin console so I know the id and password are valid. Hit Login.
8. After about 30 seconds, browser is redirected to http://iamsys05:9080/amserver/UI/Login?AMAuthCookie=AQIC5wM2LY4SfcyNiM%2B36w9DDhY5NmKc2PF6%2Fx4x2%2FUJ18M%3D%40AAJTSQACMDE%3D%23. Brwser displays "HTTP 403 Forbidden. This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage." I get this with IE6.
9. Using Firefox, I get a ¡§Redirect Loop¡¨ error message ¡§Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.¡¨
Thanks
-ArmandInstalled tamper data and from what I can tell, the requests go back and forth between AM server and protected resource. Here's the Request Graph output.

Trying to access an object's field but it has private access ! !
Dear People,
I am trying to access the highestBid, a data member of the Bid class
in an Auction program.
If I try to set the highestBid:
bicycle.setHighestBid(steveBicycleBid);
The error message says:
"TryAuction.java": Error #: 306 : method setHighestBid(stan_bluej_ch4p90.Bid) has private access in class stan_bluej_ch4p90.Lot at line 58, column 15
IF I try to get the highest bid by saying:
System.out.println("The highest bid for this item is " + bicycle.getHighestBid() );
I get an object hex address as seen below instead of an integer value:
The highest bid for this item is stan_bluej_ch4p90.Bid@f4a24a
^^^
Below are the classes
Thank you in advance

if I try to say
LotObjectName.getHighestBid, I get aDear EsoralTrebor,
Thank you very much for an enlightening explanation.
I had never tried to chain methods together before but it works !
anObject.methodOfTheObjectClassThatReturnsAnObjectOfAnotherClass.
methodOfTheObjectClassThatWasReturned();
my output correctly states:
The highest bid for the bicycle is 1510
The highest bid for the lamp is 510
The highest bid for the trailer is 900460
Thank you !
Stan
ps tomorrow I need to study the showLots() method in the Auction class
to figure out why that method is saying "No Bid" to everything
Have a Good Thanksgiving ! -
Output Module (Bridge CC) not working on Mac
As suggested here
http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
I downloaded and tried to install the Bridge CC Output Module. I could not find the "Bridge CC Extensions" folder only "Bridge CC"
I can see the output name inside Bridge when I try to install it but nothing happens when I try to click it, it's just greyed out
I using Bridge 6.0.0.151
On OS X 10.8.4Thank ti Sinkromone.
But adobe did this on purpose.

Java.lang.ClassCastException in jsp trying to access session bean
Ok I'm totally stuck on this. I've been able to deploy my session bean facade to a bunch of entities bean with no problem. Now I'm trying to access the bean from a JSP. I can do a lookup ok, I can even do a PortableRemoteObject.narrow() ok, but when I try to actually cast the object I get an error. I can't understand why narrow works if the object is not of the correct type, when I do reflection I can verify that the object implements the interface I am trying to cast to. But when I do an instanceof the object from narrow is not the right type. I'm totally confused by this.
Here's my jsp,
<%@taglib uri="/com/sct/socrates/web/jsp/tld/UserAdmin.tld" prefix="UserAdmin" %>
<%@ page import="java.sql.*" %>
<%@ page import="javax.naming.*" %>

Object object2 = PortableRemoteObject.narrow(object1, UserAdminHome.class);
out.println(object2.getClass().getName());
if (object2 instanceof UserAdminHome) out.println("is instance");
Class[] list = object2.getClass().getInterfaces();

Shut down and restarted computer, "browser error" still pops up when trying to access documents using Google doc's.
Holding shift key and clicking refresh does not clear window.
What else can be done to clear the window and gain access to my documents?Hi,
Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
It says:
"NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."
For further details you may refer the Note: 244527.1 - Explanation of "SSL call to NZ function nzos_Handshake failed" error codes

Hi
I am looking to use OEPE to allow me to adapt a RAD approach to the web part of our applications while keeping our CI builds consistant.
We use WebLogic 10.3 with struts 1.2.9, Spring 2.5, Hibernate 3.X and maven 2.
I am using Eclipse 3.5 SR1 with OEPE version Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse 11.1.1.3.0
I created a test Dynamic Web Application using maven 2 and this works OK with a test WebLogic Server 10.3. I then deleted this from the WebLogic Server so I could try using it with OEPE.
I deploy this Dynamic Web Application using OEPE (via autogenerated_ear_) to WebLogic Server
My initial problems were classpath errors where it seems that my Maven dependent jars were NOT picked up by my web application. To overcome this I copied the maven dependencies to <my web app>\src\main\webapp\WEB-INF\lib
I could then use my initial struts action but failed with:

}Please help me out:
Thanks a lot in advance.0- the fact the ISA server logs an 'anonymous' seems logical, since it answers by HTTP 407. I will say it's even a "good log" :) but I had preferred a good old "security exception" but it's not the case..
1- The code for checking the properties (your debugging) should be placed BEFORE trying to connect to the url if you want to see what's happening
2- The 'normal' way to set the proxy is to set the following properties
System.setProperty("http.proxySet","true"); // and NOT https.proxyset as ejp said
System.setProperty("http.proxyHost","123.456.789.123");
System.setProperty("http.proxyPort","80");
3- what's the behavior if you change 123.456.789.123 by the real name (hostname) of the server ?
4- You can try setting up the proxy in the java control panel instead of in your code (easy to do under Windows, you look for the networking settings, and you find the proxy settings for http/https there. Otherwise look for all files called net.properties and edit them).
5- to help debbuging, we can rely on several methods of Authenticator :
protected PasswordAuthentication getPasswordAuthentication() {
System.err.println(".\tgetRequestingHost: " + getRequestingHost());
System.err.println("..\tgetRequestingSite: " + getRequestingSite());
System.err.println("...\tgetRequestingPort: " + getRequestingPort());
System.err.println("....\tgetRequestingProtocol: " + getRequestingProtocol());
System.err.println(".....\tgetRequestingPrompt: " + getRequestingPrompt());
System.err.println("......\tgetRequestingScheme: " + getRequestingScheme());
return new PasswordAuthentication("<USERNAME>",new String("<USER_PASSWORD>").toCharArray());
Try all this and let us see the output messages.
Please remember to give some 'duke stars' if it helped resolving the problem ;)

Kind Regards
CarlosWithout going into any technical discussion about the code, my first question is what JDK version was used to create this which was imported into the form? Understand that Forms 10 runs on JDK 1.4.2, so if you used any newer JDK version, likely there will be problems.

HTML Call : OracleOASIS.RunReport
Parameters : report=EMPDET
This function is attached to the menu and when I try to access the page I get this error.
"Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Incorrect usage."
The URL that shows in the page is as follows(<server:port> I removed the server name and port) :
http://<server:port>/dev60cgi/rwcgi60?GDEV_APPS+DESFORMAT=HTML+SERVER=GDEV_APPS+report=EMPDET+p_session_id=A9C71A70B9B1D9BD2DCC0FC3AF9BC324+p_user_id=1133+p_responsibility_id=50230+p_application_id=800+p_security_group_id=0+p_language_code=US+NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA+NLS_DATE_FORMAT=DD-MON-RRRR+NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS=.%2C+NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE=AMERICAN+NLS_SORT=BINARY+paramform=NO
Surprisingly other functions which are defined in this manner work fine. Do I need to register my report anywhere or are there any other settings I need to do for the report to show up.
Can someone let me know.

Error on my IPad 2. When I'm trying to access in utilities to configure the email, this close suddenly and send me to home page.
Not sure about Utilities on your iPad. Do you mean the Settings app?
First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appear. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
