Trying to access PortletURL

Hi,
I am new in portlet Developing and i am trying to create a Portlet menu using the JSR-168 specification that will display the subcategories of a main category in a page.
The problem is, that i can't find a way to access my Portals parameters e.g. Site id or the page's id ...
I even tried to get the current URL via the method createActionURL() and covert it to String with the toString() method and get the parameters manually, but it also failed.
Any suggestions about accessing portal's data ??

Without going into any technical discussion about the code, my first question is what JDK version was used to create this which was imported into the form? Understand that Forms 10 runs on JDK 1.4.2, so if you used any newer JDK version, likely there will be problems.

Error while trying to access a SSWA PLSQL function

I am trying to access a report as a web page by defining the function as follows :
Type : SSWA PLSQL FUNCTION
HTML Call : OracleOASIS.RunReport
Parameters : report=EMPDET
This function is attached to the menu and when I try to access the page I get this error.
"Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Incorrect usage."
The URL that shows in the page is as follows(<server:port> I removed the server name and port) :

Not sure about Utilities on your iPad. Do you mean the Settings app?
First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appear. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I am trying to access iPhoto from my MacBook Pro on my iPhone 5s

I am trying to access iPhoto on my iPhone 5s from my 2008 MacBook pro. I have synced both devices, have set up iCloud, have downloaded iOS7 and Mavericks, and have photo sharing and photo stream turned on on the iPhone. I am using iPhoto '08, version 7.1.5. There is a newer for purchase version of iPhoto. Could it be that I have to buy this update to connect from my iPhone? I just bought the iPhoto by Apple app but it only allows me to view albums and photos that are already on my iPhone.

I ask this respectfully. If indeed iPhoto version 9.5 is iCloud friendly, why would it not be accessible from my iPhone? It seems to me that the mission of iCloud is to effect the "commonality" between iPhone and the Mac - and other Apple devices. What user you are trying to search. Are you using username, display name or email address when searching
Was any domain related changed done
What if that users tried to logon to sharepoint site.
Does this error occur with all the account when you click edit? If not, based on the error,
the user account which might be removed from Active Directory or renamed accidentally. Please have a check.

Error when trying to access the RBAC User editor and Message tracking

Hi,
I am getting an error when trying to access the RBAC User editor and Message tracking on the Web Mgmt interface. I verified that the admin account trying to access is in the Organization Management group and has the correct Role Assignment Policy applied.
I searched through this thread below and saw that matching the msExchRoleLink and msExchUserLink attributes fixed the issue.

However I have another environment where this is not the case and works just fine; the msExchUserLink attribute has a value of CN=Organization Management,OU=Microsoft Exchange Security Groups,DC=Domain,DC=Local which is different as per the issue outlined in
the above thread so I am not convinced that this will work and also don’t want to blindly edit something in adsiedit without being sure.

I then had a look at the IIS permissions for ecp and owa. The account did not have permissions so I added them there but still got the same error. I’ve also tried all of the above with a newly-created account but still got the same issue.
Any ideas as to what the above event log is specifically referring to?

If you want to search message tracking logs, the account you use should be a member of the role groups below:
Organization Management role group, Records Management role group, Recipient Management role group.

Photoshop launches help file when trying to access effects panel.

I have Photoshop CS6 and sometimes when I double click a layer to bring up the effects panel Photoshop launches the Help library instead with an error message saying I need to re install photoshop to access help???? Yet I was only trying to access the effects panel. The help pages are fine and I can flick through them no problem but when going back into Photoshop I can't click on anything after that and usually have to bring up task manager to end Photoshop. Any suggestions?
Secondly on some occasions when using a tool and it could be a brush or pen etc the section I'm working on completely disappears in a perfect square leaving the rest of my picture intact.
I'm not using large files either when this happens. I noticed the problem occurred after the last CS6 update.

If I uninstall and re install can I just uninstall Photoshop or do I have to uninstall the whole suite?

Adobe has been looking unsuccessfully for this problem literally for decades.
It appears sometimes to be related to the Layer Styles panel. I've personally seen it happen with every version of Photoshop I can remember using, though VERY infrequently. It's happened to me just twice or three times with Photoshop CS6 13.0.0, and not yet with 13.0.1.
There's no known workaround other than to fool with stuff until it just goes away. It may be that changing some of the configuration options or even returning Photoshop's preferences to out-of-box defaults can help. I've even seen cases where updating one's display driver works around it. Do you have ATI Catalyst 12.8?
If you have a sequence of activities you do in which it is reproducible on demand, then I'm sure Adobe would REALLY like to talk to you and get that information.

IPhoto thinks I'm trying to access photos on an external HD.....I'm not!

This has happened several times...
Some of the photos in my library are kept on an external drive, and when I'm not connected to that drive, but AM NOT TRYING TO ACCESS THE PHOTOS ON THAT DRIVE (I'm simply accessing the ones on my computer's HD), it still prompts me saying "iPhoto cannot find the drive for CIMGxxxx" or something like that. Then, if I try to close that window (cancel or OK), iPhoto freezes, and I have to force quit.
Any help would be appreciated!

I store some on the external drive because I want to save room on my internal HD. I have a large (ish...3500 or so) collection of photos, the most recent and commonly accessed of which I keep internally.
I know that iphoto has the capability of keeping a cache of all of the thumbnail images regardless of whether the image rests on the internal HD, because thumbnails for all images (on and off HD) are displayed. When you zoom in or try to edit the photo though, it (of course) will show the ! in grey because the image itself rests on the external drive.
It just seems that until I try to do anything with a photo, iPhoto shouldn't assume that I need every photo to be loaded in full all the time. To me that's the same as if iTunes were to find it necessary to play through every song in the library to make sure they're all there, when I only want to listen to one. That's a little over-generalized...but...you get my gist.

Open Sysem Preferences from your Apple () menu top left in your screen then select the Firewall tab.
Make sure the Firewall is turned off.

An error occurred while trying to access the service?

I'm trying to convert a PDF into Excel but I get the message 'an error occurred while trying to access the service'.
I have tried logging into my Adobe account online and doing it within there, but once I have exported the file and pressed 'convert' it simply says 'conversion failure' with no explanation.
My subscription is still valid, so I don't see why the problems? Has anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it? I get the error message regardless of whether I'm trying to convert to Word or Excel.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!!

Hi SHurcs,
I'm sorry that you're having such trouble with your ExportPDF subscription. Does this error occur for one particular file, or with any file that you try to convert? What operating system and browser are you using?
To get us started, here are a few things that you can try:
In Reader, sign out, and then sign back in.
Use a supported web browser: http://www.adobe.com/acom/systemreqs/
Clear the browser cache.
If you're using a networked computer, make sure that there are no firewall/proxy settings that prevent you from uploading files to the Internet.
Make sure that the files you're trying to convert are within the file-size limits for ExportPDF (100 MB).
If the problem persists, please let us know, and tell us a bit more about the files that you're converting.

i'm continually having issues with trying to convert my files from PDF to excel. I keep on getting the error message "An error occured while trying to access the service" with no real explanation as to what is wrong. I've tried several times on several different computers, logging on and off, changing users...same message everytime. I have a time sensitive project to complete, and can't get it done if this conversion can't be done. HELP!

it seems my subscription had expired so I signed up again.. It was still having trouble so I repeated the sign up process again.. Then it worked perfectly.. Unfortunately, I think I just subscribed twice and need to cancel one of them. Ugh. Such a pain when I'm trying to get this project completed. I'll be canceling at least one of the subscriptions in the morning. Adobe is not my favorite company right now. None of this was intuitive. And trying to get help was an absolute waste of an hour.
