Heck even a flip phone will dial a number from a text or email, it is in the S4 and S5 manual but not in S6

When I use my EE4G in the States, exactly how do I dial a U.S. number? I will be arriving in Philadelphia and changing planes to go to New York. I want to be able to phone my host in NY when I arrive in Philly, to let them know I've arrived all right and that I've made it to my connecting flight. I get very stressed when travelling and need to make sure I know precisely how to dial. Do I still add the country code? Are there any other differences for dialing NY from the States as opposed to the UK? Is there anything else special that I must do?

Yes, you always need to dial the number in the full international format including the country code then the area code followed by the number.
So for example, to dial a number in Manhattan, New York (different areas of New York have different area codes as we have), you enter it as +1 (the US country code) followed by the area code (Manhattan is either 212, 646 or 917) followed by the full number. To get a + sign press and hold down the 0 (zero) button for a few seconds. You don't drop any digits off US numbers when dialing them in the international format like you have to for UK numbers.
Example, dialing lets say the W New York Times Square hotel which is (212) 930 7400, you enter it as +1 212 930 7400

Experiment - or search these forums - someone discovered a solution and it was a format issue
The US format for phone numbers is 10 digits AAA-PPP-NNNN - you do not include the 01+ here typically - maybe if you can out your digites in that format it will work

Voicemails are a vital part of having a working phone. We do suggest that you look at the contact and then the number to make sure that it is *86. If you are needing to get your voicemails until then, please dial *86.

I am trying to re-install ITunes on Windows XP. When I do this, all I get is the "save" or "cancel" message, not "run". What am I doing wrong?

Because of getting the message that I had to uninstall Apple Mobile Support Device and ITunes, in order to get my ITunes to be usable, I did that. While trying to re-install ITunes, all I get on the message is the choice to "save" or "cancel". It will not give me the "run" choice. What am I doing wrong? This should be fairly simple to reinstall, I thought.

Now I do want to let you know that your phone has a "main" gmail account. If this "main" gmail account was the one you deleted it may be best that you reset your phone and activate it to your new gmail address.
The reason I recommend doing this is all of your purchased application information is also tied to your gmail.

If you have a external USB enclosure - trying installing your hard drive in that enclosure and connect it to your usb port - restart your macbook while holding down the options key. If you Macbook boots to your desktop then you have a faulty cable. If you get the same error, then your hard drive just died on you.

Came here to complain about this maddening feature. Why it doesn't save the PDF out to a separate instance of the document is beyond me. PLENTY of us want to save the PDF without the layers, and want the PSD separate.

Reload the page. If it doesn't load, choose Activity from Safari's Window menu, find that picture in the list, and see what it says to the right; this may reveal what the problem is.
