Trying to get a JEditorPane to highlight the full width of a displayed line

I have displayed the wep page in JEditorPane . Now I'm trying to get a JEditorPane to highlight the full width of a displayed line. All the examples I've tried only highlight the textual content. For example if I have content such as this:
+ Here is some text +
+ some more text +
within a JEditorPane represented by the box above, then highlighting the first row highlights only the 'Here is some text' (represented between [ and ] below).
[ Here is some text ]
[some more text ]
I would like it to highlight the full width of the JEditorPane like the following:( ie Inspecting the Html element in firebug ....)

l some more text l
l_________________________l
Is there a way to do this?

Trying to get my ring back at the full 30 sec.

what's up people heres my problem. Add extra empty toolbars if you want to see more of the persona.<br />
You can create extra toolbars to get extra space via View > Toolbars > Customize<br />
You have to put something on a toolbar (drag a Space item onto it) before closing the Customize window because empty toolbars are automatically removed.

How can I get a header image to span full width of page?

I've ran this scanpst within Win7 outlook 2010 for 3 days. The scanpst began taking about 4 minutes to finish and still showed that there were errors in the file. After 416 runs through the scanpst, the file is taking about 15 to 30 seconds. It's greatly
improved but this is ridiculous. Why isn't there something from tech support to fully fix the file without starting a new profile and starting over? There's just too much info needed to be saved. If it's simply transferred over to the new profile then it works
for a short time then the corrupt files wreck the new profile. I've really searched for this answer and gotten no where even on youtube. Some of the issues are mostly hanging outbox or rejected login 0x80042109, 0x800421A, 0x800CCC92 and 0x800CCC1A. Please
assist in stopping the madness.

There's just too much info needed to be saved. If it's simply transferred over to the new profile then it works for a short time then the corrupt files wreck the new profile.
This isn't an attempt to provide any kind of definitive answer but your description begs a number of questions...
#1 - What kind of email account is this particular PST file associated with - POP3 or IMAP?
#2 - If IMAP - am assuming that the PST file in question is related to the one which contains the <Inbox> folder> correct?. Simply deleting (renaming) this file will result in a new one being automatically recreated with the contents of whatever
exists on the server (assuming you have no created any kind of <local only> unsubscribed folders in the tree) - which then begs the question as to whether or not the root of the problem exists within the data stored on the server
#3 - If POP3 - what is the format of the PST file - ANSI or Unicode? If ANSI - what is the size of the file? ANSI files max out at 2gb
To determine the format - right click on the root of the PST file --> properties --> click <Advanced> button --> if the <Format> field description contains <97-2002> - it's an ANSI based PST file. (Regardless of anything else - if
this is the case - should be converted to a UNICODE file)
#4 - Where is the PST file being stored - on a local drive or a network drive? If network - not supported and highly prone to causing corruption.
#5 - Purely from a logical perspective - the fact that things appear to work properly for the "first few days" after a new profile is created indicates that there is something consistently occurring on some kind of 'timed basis" triggering
your issues. If that's the case, even if ScanPST did fully clear all issues - just a matter of time before the same thing happens again (whatever "that thing" may happen to be) - ergo, in this scenario, highly unlikely that ScanPST is the answer
since what really needs to be done is to find the root cause of what is triggering the problem.
#6 - It would also be pretty safe that this is not a generic issue impacting everyone using OL'2010 - regardless of OS so your environment is one deserving a lot of close scrutiny.

Any ideas on what would cause this NOT to work? I added this row right after the table is created and populated and it is still not highlighted when I enter the form. The snippet of code that does this is:

Further info: I am a complete newbie to Mac. Had three macs prior to 2000 then four PCs. Just come back and struggling a bit with the unfamiliarity. On my old PC laptop I could simply switch from the laptop screen to the large external monitor (and back) with the F4 function key. While I can get the background image from my MBA to display, that's it. Until I noticed on the far left of the external monitor, the very edge of one of the web pages I was on. So Idragged it over to display in the centre. But that's all that's there. And now I have gone out of those web pages but they are still displaying on the monitor. There is some wierd disconnect. I'm sure it is just a setting thing. Will keep searching for answer but any advice welcome!

Your dsplay is getting extended onto the external monitor. Chcnage the setting to duplicate it or only display on the external monitor and you should be fine,

Using GridBagLayout to fill the full width of a JFrame, ...

I have two quick questions regarding GridBagLayout.
1st, I would like the fill the full width of a JFrame with a JPanel. I have tried:
JFrame frame = new JFrame();

panelConstraints.gridx = 0;
panelConstraints.gridy = 0;
panelConstraints.fill = GridBagConstraints.HORIZONTAL;But this fails to stretch the panel to the full width of the frame.
2nd, I would like to align the elements in a panel to the farthest left they can go. I have tried:
element.anchor = GridBagConstraints.LINE_START;But this aligns all the elements I do this to, to the same starting position horizontally, but not all the way left.
I would appreciate help with either or both of these questions!

weightx or weighty : Easy way to understand is priority amongs components and if this componets get setting
with weightx = 1.0 then this components 's width and height values are respected to be kept over others.
It just says that, putting the weight on this components over others. kept all others attributes of this componets first
over other components.

IWDGroup - making it the full width of the screen

Hi everyone, I am using the IWDGroup element to enclose several other elements, e.g. Table, textview, labels, etc.
I will be listing several groups on one screen, in order to make them uniform, I'd like to make it by default, stretch to atleast the full width of the screen. I've tried setting the setStretchHorizontal to be true, however, still this does not work. Please help.

Yes, I have tried setting the width=100%, using the CSS principle as it had suggested. I'm starting to perhaps think that this is a bug.

I have run into a problem that I hope you can help me with: I need to find the Full Width at Half-Maximum.
I have an array of pixel intensities and have found the peaks and valleys using Peak Detector.vi, but I can not figure out a way to find the full width at half-maximum (the width of the 'hill' at one-half of its maximum point).
Any help you may provide would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. One of the solutions I used was to use the was to
use "threshold 1D array.vi" from the array palette. You can use this to
iteratively get the uphill edge of the peak. To get the down hill edge, you
have to invert the array and then use the same VI. Then subract the uphil
position from the down hill position and your done.
You do however need to be careful depending on your image content. If the
image is noisy, then the "Peak Detector.vi" will have problems finding the
"real peak".

How can I measure the full width half max pulse-width of a gaussian function?

Hi I am measuring a laser pulse using a Tektronix scope and feeding that data into my labview (v 7.1) based data system on a Mac OS X computer. I want to measure the full width pulse at half the maximum peak. The included measurement VIs that come with labview and the tek scope dont seem to do the job (even though the scope itself can do the measurement). I've attached my example VI. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

If you can display a trace on the screen, you can get the full width at half maximum. LabVIEW gives you several options:
Use the Pulse Parameters VI to determine the width directly. This will be a width based solely on the data with no assumption as to an underlying model.
Use the Levenberg Marquardt VI to fit a gaussian to your curve, then calculate the full width at half maximum from the coefficients. Levenberg Marquardt is a least-squares/gaussian algorithm, so is somewhat noise sensitive.
Use one of the minimizer functions (e.g. Downhill Simplex) to construct your own fit using a different assumed error distribution. If you are unsure how to do this, check out a copy of Numerical Recipes in C by Press et. al. and read the section on data fitting.
Do your own data based calculation. Find the peak with Peak Detector. This will give you the magnitude, but you may want to verify it with a polynomial fit (parabola is usually good enough) across the top of the peak to avoid noise problems. Then find the positions of the half-maxima on either side of the peak. The Interpolate 1D Array will probably prove useful for this.
Choose your method depending on your pain threshold and how accurate and robust you need the result to be. Good luck!

Which applications are you talking about?
Example: Browser application - At the bottom right corner of a browser window you will see a small square with 3 diagnal lines. Place your cursor in that corner to stretch out your window to full screen. The next time you open your browser app, the window will be full screen.
