Trying to install iCloud on the Pro with a non-setup Mobil Me. Just want to set up iCloud if icould. :)
I have searched everywhere and done everything that I know to get iCloud setup on our machines. I have upgraded everything. The only thing I haven't done is been able to locate iOS5. My Pro is less than a year old and came with Mobil Me. I never setup an account. I have no idea why it will not let me setup an account or how to get rid of the Mobil Me.
Help.
If the software in your signature is correct and you are running Snow Leopard, 10.6.8, then you do not have the option to use iCloud. iCloud is only available via Lion (10.7.x).

You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.

I am running Windows 7 and have tried to install iCloud. No matter what instructions I follow, I still get the error message "This Apple ID is valed but is not an iCloud account." How can I resolved this?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I bought Lightroom 3 or 4, can't remember which, as an online download. I then upgraded to 5 with a CD. I registered the upgrade on my Adobe account and that's where the serial number is. I just bought a new iMac and am trying to install Lightroom. The system is asking for my original serial number which I don't have. The point is. If I have the upgrade registered with my Adobe account, shouldn't that be proof that an earlier version was on my computer??? I'm really stuck. Need some advice! Thanks

Thanks for your response, but if you read my first mail, it's the original serial number that I don't have. I bought the original LR as download and have misplaced the serial number. Is there any way to find it???

tried to install software for canon pro 100 getting message "you can't open the application "setup.app" because it is not supported on this architecture"

I have tried to install icloud 4.0 for windows and again is does not allow syncing with outlook 2013 calendar and contact, using windows 8.1 and IOS 8.02 (get - unexpected error)?
Having same issues. had been syncing every few days with outlook 2007 contacts and calendar but since updated to 4.0.2 and latest itunes I get an error that it is unable to sync. I can't seem to find any solution.

Running 10.4.11 and trying to restore OS9 as well as iLife etc. I tried to install iLifer from the original disc and the computer doesn't open the install program with the .mpkg file extension. Can you help?

Trying to install Mavericks on Mac Pro series 4,1

I'm trying to install Mavericks on Mac Pro series 4,1 After downloading from App Store, when computer restarts I get grey screen with the "no entry" sign. I have checked compatibility and this model qualifies for Mavericks. Tried a clean install of 10.6.8 first, but no luck. Any ideas?
The Mac has single quad core 2.66, 6 Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT120 graphics. Four hard drives. Three Pro Tools HD cards in PCIe slots.
I also tried this with Mountain Lion, with the same results.Didn't have any luck with removing PCI cards, BUT................ here's how I resolved the issue:
I tried making a USB stick installer. That also failed, but I noticed it couldn't find any hard drives.
I did a search about OSX installer not finding drives and found someone who had that issue and it turned out to be a conflict with the WIFI card (Atheros, not the more common Broadcom)
I checked my System Profiler and sure enough, I have the Atheros.
I just removed the WIFI card and booted into OSX Installer (it was still there after the failed install) and successfully installed Mavericks. -
HT6413 When trying to install iCloud I get an error message
When trying to install iCloud I get an error message: "Specified account already exists". I am requested to update iCloud - which I don't already have - on a regular basis but always get this error. I have iTunes and an iPod, and I also have Outlook which is closed (Not sure if this makes any difference)
Why do I get this error and how can I prevent it from happening?
