TS1424 I cannot transfer music I bought on my iPhone to my Mac iTunes library. No matter how many times I've tried to sync it. Ggrrrrrr!
Is this problem a iOS 7.0.4 problem or am I missing something??
How are you trying to copy them over ? As long as your account is authorised on your Mac's iTunes then you should be able to copy them over via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

For some reason, I cannot change my desktop background no matter how many times I delete the "active" folder. It's as if it's locked. Any ideas how I can fix it?
Yes it sounds like you have a corrupted preference file.
The setting you make in individual programs get saved to a Preference file in your Users/Library/Preferences folder.
All you have to do is drag out the old file to the desktop, reboot and load the program and the preference file gets rebuilt without your preferences which you reset.
For your case I beleive the preference file is
com.apple.desktop.plist -
and all of his music has disappeared from the iPhone and from the iTunes library! Luckily he does have music still stored on his iPod, but I can't get it from the library on his iPod back to the phone or to itunes.Please help, but technophobe so put it in simple english please!
Sounds like the music you had on your phone was not the same music on his computer. The iPhone/iPod touch is not designed to be a storage device. When you sync with a computer that doesn't have your music, it deletes your music from your phone.
Was this music you purchased from iTunes? if so, and you are in the US, tap on itunes app, tap updates, tap purchased and tap on the cloud icon to get each song back. If you're not int he us, get iOS5 update later this week and do the same.
But you need to move your itunes library to his computer. Create a user account on his macbook pro for you. From your external drive backup, load your itunes library on it. Then sync as usual! (Don't tell me you don't have a backup for your computer!) -
I cannot get the subtitles to work no matter how many times I set it up and I am doing it correctly, what is wrong?
if the material don't state there is subtitles in your language it don't include it
and if will only show subtitles if the language you choose in the atv settings so if you have it set to french
and the material only have subtitles in English and not french they will not display -
I can't access iTunes Match or make any Music or app purchases or updates after updating to iOS 6. I am trying to switch my imob account from my iphone to my ipad and when I try to transfer, the ipad says that i cannot transfer another imob account to it because I bound the imob account to the device that is already on the ipad. This is driving me crazy. Every time I try to permanently delete the imob app from the ipad and download a new one, it opens to my existing app that I keep deleting. I wiped the ipad clean numerous times. I even tried using a different apple id to download it. Nothing it working. Why can't I get rid of the information stored in the app that is on the ipad? It's creepy how it won't go away. So if I sold the ipad and someone else tried to download their own game, they would not be able to because my original information that is saved on the game would keep coming up. Any help is appreciated.

I seen this many times, and in just about all cases, it's the user resetting a different AppleID than what's being used for the iTunes account.

What type of security are you using? If it's WEP, change it to WPA. WEP is so insecure as to be virtually worthless now.
If re-setting the network settings doesn't fix it, you're probably going to find you need a new router. Yours may just be incompatible. -

The "Favorites" icons that appear when you open a new tab are just a special folder in your Bookmarks. To add items to the page, add a bookmark (by tapping the "Bookmark" item in the "Action" popover) and specify the Favorites folder as the destination.
To remove items from the "Favorites" view, tap the Bookmarks icon, then tap "Edit" to remove bookmarks from the Favorites folder.
You may also press-and-hold an item in the Favorites view to re-order it (rather than using the Bookmarks view to reorder them). -
I have moved my iTunes library to a new Windows 7 PC and cannot transfer music from the new iTunes PC to my iPhone 4S. The iPhone will only accept music transfers from the original iTunes PC. I have come to understand that an iPhone can have only one "daddy" iTunes PC, but have not been able to find out how to change the "daddy". I have done a backup of the iPhone, and a "Restore to Original Settings". Then I restored the content using the new iTunes PC. My Apps and contacts, etc. are back on the iPhone, but it still won't accept music from the new iTunes PC.

When I try to "drag and drop" a song, it just does not allow me to do it (circle with line thru it). I should also mention that I just changed PC's as well. I tsnsferred all of the music files from the hdd of the old to the new. After reading some of the other posts, I think this might have more to do with the problem than the switch to itunes 10.6.3?
