TS1702 Error when trying to browse in iBooks. 1st gen iPad

When trying to use the "browse" feature in iBooks, I get an error window saying "Cannot connect to iTunes." I have a 1st generation iPad. I've tried every suggestion I've found online, both through Apple and other forums. Nothing fixes the problem. Any ideas? I'm more than frustrated at this point.

Hi,
I'm using OSD 1.1 against 10g.
I can create and compile functions in a certain schema but when I try to browse the Functions node I get "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist." and the node does not expand.
The same thing happens with the Packages and Procedures nodes.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I've got the same problem with SQL Developer 1.1.0.23.64 against 9.2.0.4.0 and 10.1.0.4.0. This error occured only for a few package/procedure/function owners. I've found that these owners have SELECT ANY TABLE system privilege. In such case SQL Developer generates following SELECT:

So you could try to grant SELECT on DBA_OBJECTS to owner of your functions.
I don't know why SQL Developer doesn't SELECT from ALL_OBJECTS in all cases.

You will need grant SELECT on DBA_SOURCE, too.

Adobe CS6 32bit Extension error when trying to browse in bridge.

There are times I have to use the 32bit version of CS6, because the plugin being used can't be used in the 64bit version. But the last two days, this error started up out of the blue.
This is the error popup I get, verbatim "Could Not Complete the Browse In Bridge command because Photoshop was unable to find the Javascript plug-in"
This error doesn't happen with the 64Bit version, nor does it happen in CS5 64 or 32bit, and not in CC 32bit (downloaded the trial to test to see if it was a 32bit compatbility problem) and none of these cough up this error.
I haven't copied or deleted any parts of Adobe or any files in any of the program directories.

Extension Manager CS6 no longer supports Bridge and this problem occurs in Photoshop. Please seek help in http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop.

Getting an error when trying to check for update for my iPad

On the iPad itself, there is no option such as 'update' in the general tab under settings. So I connected the iPad to my computer and on iTunes, whenever I click for 'Check for Update' I get an error message that says:
The iPad software update server could not be contacted
Make sure your network setting are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later
My network is absolutely fine and I have been trying since almost 2 days now.

If you would like help from these user forums then saying what the error message was would be useful.

I dunno, that doesn't make any sense to me.
I just shut down and rebooted into the SnowLeopard partition and took a peek at the preference panes. There are only 3 that run in 32 bit only. They are all 3rd party, and none of the prefpanes are non Intel. Like I said, I have never owned a PPC machine. Anyhow, SnowLeopard doesn't even have an iCloud prefpane, or a combined mail, contacts, and calenders prefpane, and the ML security and privacy prefpane is all new as well. The software update prefpane is Intel and 64 bit in both SnowLeopard and Lion.
As to the triple boot, unless I'm totally mistaken, what I have here is, in essence, 3 seperate descrete computers in one box. All using the same hardware. but one at a time. I wouldn't know how to get more than one running at the same time, without using a virtual machine, even if I wanted to. (Which I don't) I do sometimes transfer files from one to another using the shared folder, but other than that, they do not interact. How could ML system preferences be trying to launch prefpanes from a totally different machine?

HTTP error when trying to access RESTful web service from application

We are getting the following error when trying to access a RESTful web service coming from Apex workspace 4.2.1 and Apex listener 2.1:
ORA-29273: HTTP request failed ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1130 ORA-29024: Certificate validation failure
In the Debug report, besides the above I also see:
error_backtrace: ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1130 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES", line 543 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES", line 1164 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_PROCESS", line 396
We get that error whether we use https or http in the URI pointing to the web service. When I test the Web Service in Workspace RESTful service GUI, I get the data back. When I go build an application with a report calling the RESTful Web Service I get that error. Both the Application and the Workspace RESTful services are on the same Apex environment and even the same workspace.
What is odd is that I can actually put the URL of the web service into a browser and I get the data: (using the demo hr data in sample RESTful services.)

In reviewing the above error, I think we are realizing that we have to have the Weblogic layer SSL cert (actually the CERT from our BigIP load balancer which also does our SSL termination) imported into the Oracle server wallet where Apex is installed. Am I correct?

We resolved our problem. The Apex Administrative Guide made us realize that we had to set up Wallet path in the Instance. This required working with DBAs to follow the Advanced networking guide to get the wallet set up on our server. We then added that path to the Instance configuration. (Manager Instance --> Instance settings). We ran into another other issue related to our implementation of CAS but were able to resolve that, and 'voila' were able to get the sample RESTful service consumed by our application!!
Now to the task of figuring out how to get Basic Auth working between client application and RESTful web service. If anyone has that working, let us know!!
It would be helpful if in the documentation of the Apex 2.x listener or Apex install/configuration there was clear reference to the above steps required for HTTPS access to RESTful web services.

I am encountering the same problem -- though with .qfx files from my bank. This worked fine in Firefox 31 ESR, but since upgrading to Firefox 33.0, I get the "<name>.qfx.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read" when I attempt to download. (I should add that downloading PDF statements from the same site works fine, and that the qfx downloads work fine in IE and Chrome.)
I tried safe mode, it is still broken. Tried v34 beta, no luck. I reverted to version 31, it works again.
I guess I will stick with the older version until a solution is found...or just use an alternate browser to download my financial data.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. Error when trying to see pages in webcenter app with adf security activated

I have this problem
I developed a WebCenter Application that uses ADF Security with form authentication. This App has
two JSPX the first one is the login page and the second one is the page where i manage runtime created pages
using the CREATE PAGE task flow and a page tree iterator to see my created pages.
when i deploy de application on the weblogic server i am able to login successfully and create as many pages as
i want and also see them using the link generated. the problem is that when a delete the application from the weblogic
server, i mean the deployed application, then redeploy the same application on the server i can login again and
see the pages i created before but when i try to reach them i get this error showed in my internet browser:

Getting an error when tried to access task form from worklist app

I am using 10.1.3.4 BPEL PM. I have created a bpel process with a human task.
From the worklist application, when the approver clicks on: Task Id (ideally it should open task form).
In my case, I am getting an error:

It works fine in SOA suite 10.1.3.1. and does not work in BPEL PM 10.1.3.4
The only difference is I deployed in 10.1.3.1 using Ant script of bpel project and in 10.1.3.4 I deployed using the BPEL Console itself by browsing the project jar(Since I am getting error when tried to deploy it using Ant).
Is it a known bug or am I making anything wrong. Tried with both Autogeneration and Custom form

check for all of the human tasks workflow contexts tasks forms for dynamic pointers for
domain_id, process_id, process_version.

From your description, when you export a SharePoint list to excel from chrome, you get an error.
In my SharePoint 2013, when I export a SharePoint list to excel from chrome, it works fine.
For your issue, make sure the excel client have been installed in your environment.
To narrow down the issue, I would like to confirm the following information:
To check whether the issue is related to the browser, I suggest you to do a test in other browsers, such as IE and compare the results.
What version is your office client? office 2013 or 2010? 32bit or 64 bit?

What browser are you using? Try clearing the cache, or using a different browser. N/A
Are you converting from within Reader, or directly via the ExportPDF website. Within Reader.I disabled the OCR and this did not work either. Try converting from within Reader, and disable OCR as detailed in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) when converting PDF to Word or Excel.
Are you on a networked computer? Make sure that there aren't any firewall/proxy settings that are preventing you from uploading files to the Internet. Not having problems uploading the file--that works fine.
Make sure the file is within the file-size limit of 100 MB. It is <40.
I get the error message, "File failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF online."

It's not viruses I was talking about - it was session hijacking and electronic evesdropping. And as far as a browser taking up space....seriously? We're talking MBs here.....
I use Firefox exclusively, because frankly, I don't like Safari any more than I like IE.....(actually, I really hate IE - despite its being around for forever, it is still not a browser that does much for me).
But, to each his own. That's not really the point I was making. It's just that we have some very non tech-savvy folks asking questions here, and we need to make sure that the advice we are giving out is not going to increase their risks in any way. I was just trying to be mindful of making sure that we do inform to the best degree possible....
