TS1702 What do I do if I don't remember the answers to my security questions?! I can't download songs on my iPhone :(
I recently got an iPhone 4. Every time I try to download music from my phone I get taken to this site that wants answers to verify that I'm the same person, just using a different device... The problem is that I made my account a year ago and I have no idea what my answers were to the security questions. Someone help! I can't download music!
Check the AppleCare number for your country here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
Call them up, and let them know you would like to be transferred to the Account Security Team.

I don't remember the answers to my security questons and can't download movies or music on a new device. where can I get or change the security answers?
If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).
Or you could see if the second half of Kappy's reply in this thread helps : https://discussions.apple.com/message/20357006#20357006 -
I have 3 security questions and don't remember them. I know at least one for sure but there's always another one with it which I don't know the answer to. I don't think I set up a rescue email when I made the account, so what do I do?
You will need to contact iTunes Support online: http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html (select Account Security as your help topic)
or by phone: Apple Support Numbers -

I don't remember the answers to my security questions, how can I find or change them?
https://appleid.apple.com/
Manage your account, Log in... You can change the answers as long as your know your password. If you encounter a problem(some people have) with changing your answers, then contact apple support for them to reset them. Sometimes it will ask you for an answer before allowing you to change them, others have reported not getting the email sent if it asks you for an email. With me I could just change them. So check it out. -

<Email Edited By Host>If you changed your Apple ID from the old email address (that is showing up) to a new one, but just forgot to update it on your iPhone, try these steps.
1. Use your current Apple ID password
Trying using your current Apple ID password. If that doesn't work, continue to the next step.
2. Sign out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime
If you are currently signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
Sign out of iMessage or FaceTime:
iMessage: Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
FaceTime: Go to Settings > FaceTime, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Sign back in to iMessage or FaceTime:
iMessage: Go to Settings > Messages, then tap "Use your Apple ID for iMessage".
FaceTime: Go to Settings > FaceTime, then tap "Use your Apple ID for FaceTime".
You should now be able to sign out of iCloud. You will still see your previous Apple ID when signing out.
If you are not signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
Sign in to iMessage or FaceTime:
iMessage: Go to Settings > Messages, then tap "Use your Apple ID for iMessage".
FaceTime: Go to Settings > FaceTime, then tap "Use your Apple ID for FaceTime".
You should now be able to sign out of iCloud. You will still see your previous Apple ID when signing out.
3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID. -
