TS1702 why does itune store ask me to buy the apps I bought several years ago?

I bought iwork and other apple apps one year ago. However, I was ask to pay for them again today when I tried to download from itune store. Please help me to fix this.

If they were bought via the same account (and you still in the same country) then you should be able to re-download them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iOS device, or via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

So... why not restore them from your backup? If, for some reason, this wasn't an option, you could have also recovered them from any iPod or iPhone they were currently synced to (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848), or, you can also email iTunes Store support and request a "regrant," which is a once-per-account exception they might be able to offer you and allow you to download missing purchases again.
I am now convinced this a HUGE BUG in 7.7.1. and possibly the previous version or two.
I'm not so sure... I've never run across this particular error (my library is stored on my internal hard drive, but copied to an external for backup purposes with an application other than iTunes or Finder. I don't think Apple will provide acknowledgment to issues experienced only by very small numbers of people... I'm one of those, perhaps foolish, individuals who allows my computer to download updates immediately, rather than waiting for fear of problems, and again, I've never had this error.

Why does Itunes sync my purchase transfers to the wrong hard drive?

I'm running windows 7 with a 64gb SSD boot drive and 1tb data drive. My boot drive is almost completely full. I installed itunes on my data drive and set the preferences to sync media to the data drive as well. I plug in my old ipod to tranfer purchases before an update. The tranfer never finished because it synced all of the data to my boot drive and now my boot drive is completely full and the data is nowhere to be found. I recently had the same problem with it syncing an iphone backup to the same drive, but I found a work around for that. Why does Itunes instist on loading stuff on the boot drive? How can I redirect it? This is simple preferences that should be available to change, but simply aren't.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

NB. the app I'm initially interested in downloading for is the paid global/worldwide BBC iPlayer app that's only accessible outside the UK, if that helps.

And, your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

Why does itunes require me to agree to the terms every time I open it

Since the last update, every time I open iTunes on my computer, I have to agree to the terms, and then also decide whether or not to share my album info. How do I get this to stop?

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPhone a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the "i" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPhone (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

I have a first generation (64Gb) WiFi running version 10,and have IOS5,Im only using about 30% of memory at most.But when I browse the iTunes Store on my iPad,it crashs frequently and returns me to the home screen.I have tried restarting,resetting,updating,restoring it to only the factory installed Apps and testing to see if one or more of my downloaded Apps could be causing the crash.Nothing seems to fix it.The error log shows that the iTunes Store is overloading the processor ,even when nothing extra has been loaded onto the iPad.It seems odd to me that a basic iPad utility should cause it to overload the processor.Support has acted mystified as to why it is doing this,and exiled me to the customer self help forums.I have run across bits and pieces that several other customers are suffering from this same problem.The general rumor that I've heard is that iTunes Store has become so "Bloated" from its own new and improved updates that it's putting more demand on the IPad processors than they are designed for.Is this a hopeless or unfixable problem?I have started using downloaded Apps like Apple Sliced without having the crash problem,but their search engines are not quite as good as the iTunes App Store browser.IF only It wasn't so unstable !!! Why does iTunes keep asking for my password when I want to listen to my music on my iPhone?

When I want to listen to music on my iPhone, iTunes keeps asking for my password. I am not purchasing anything. It started today. Why is that?

I've been having the same problem on my iPad and iPhone. I talked to Apple customer service this morning. They had me do the following on both devices in the Settings:
* Sign out of iTunes & App Store
* Sign out of FaceTime
* Sign out of Game Center
* Delete iCloud account
They also had me restore my iPad due to some glitchy behavior in the Music app.
Things seemed to me fixed for a few hours until I went into the iTunes Store app on my iPad and added a movie to my Wish List. When I went back to the Music app, the dreaded "Sign In to iTunes Store" popup started showing up again on both devices. Suspicious!
So, I cleared out my Wish List in both the iTunes Store and App Store. I've been poking at the Music app on both my iPhone and iPad since then I haven't seen that popup once since then. I'm not going to declare victory yet since it's only been an hour or two, but I thought that this was worth mentioning.

Why does Itunes store use estimated sales tax?

Does anyone know why the itunes store doesn't reveal the "real" tax even after you purchase? I was surprised my tax was estimated even past the point of purchase. I'm not aware of any other online retailer who keeps it hidden.

I understand that the tax is different in every state and country. My question is why they don't reveal the actual tax to you before they run your credit card, like every other retailer does. I've ordered an ipad yesterday, got a confirmation email today, and still don't know the actual tax they're charging me. This seems to violate business etiquette (charge an account without letting person know exact amount). They'll let me know "at invoice", i.e. after I have it in my possession. Bestbuy, to give one of hundreds of examples, estimates the tax at first, but then tells you what tax actually is right before you confirm the order.

The Terms and Conditions of the iTunes Store clearly state all sales are final. The person you spoke with may have been told a refund could not be given. They may have contacted the developer of the app who is claiming that the in-app purchase was delivered to you.
You would have been far better off to have called Apple back rather than switching to Chat. Contact them again, by phone, and ask to speak to a senior advisor and if necessary ask for a supervisor. If you threaten them and say they are cheating you, etc. they will probably disconnect so keep that in mind. They are under no obligation whatsoever to provide you a refund.
