TS2621 I justy got my iPhone 5 and supposedly had my email set up, after much trouble. Now, I can't send or receive email. What could be wrong?
I just got my iPhone 5, and supposedly, had the email account set up. Now, after downloading photos and apps, my email will not let me send or receive.
Paragraphs were invented for a reason.
Flinging a giant wall of text up is not conducive to receiving help.
Posting email addresses is not smart.

Hi..I have just recently got an iPhone and I had installed some apps already but now when I try to install and download any apps it just sits there on "waiting" and will not download.. Im able to erase it but no apps will download now. I have tried logging out of the app store but it still did the same thing. I also tried resetting it and that didn't work either. I can't send or receive emails on my iphone 5s and ipad air, I'm not very technical but have tried everything i know including resetting both products. I desperate for help as currently recovering from spinal surgery as left paralysed at mo, so both items are my lifeline outside of hospital and intense residential physio.....help!

Tracey.Hi Have you got WiFi or just a mobile signal If you can get a good mobile signal but no wifi you need a WiFi dongle Not the plug in type the stand alone one you can run upto 5 devices at once You can get one on contact or PAY& GO Ask someone to get one for you from shop go for the best Mobile signal were you need to use it If you are in the UK EE on 4G are best. Moved hosting of email and now can't send or receive emails
did a search on the forum but can seem to find a solution to my problem.
so has any one ever had any problems with removing an email account (with estreet) and then adding a new account (with Dreamhost.com) to a blackberry?

My client can't send or receive email but isn't getting an error message ... just nothing is happening. She can send and receive via Outlook and on my iphone.

If your using BIS - Log into your BIS account and delete the email address and recreate it again - the email server details are pointing to the wrong email server.
If your using BES ,then the BES needs to get the correct Mail Server details - Delete the user form the BES and add them back, then reactivate the Handset.

Is this a recent problem or has it been going on for some time. If you just updated to ML, you might want to confirm that you've update to the latest MS Office / Outlook patches.

Upgraded to ios7 on iPad 2. Now can't send or receive mail (outlook).
I tried starting and restarting. I tried rebooting. I tried deleting mail account and adding in again. I
Now what do I do?I think I have solved this problem on m iPad2 by:
1. Reinstalling my email account.
2. Changing the settings on my PC to stop it from deleting my email from the server before my iPad could load them.
My PC uses Windows Air Mail. I made no known changes to my PC from the time I was running iOS6 to the installation of iOS7 ??? MS did come out with several updates this week??
3. In the same time frame when I was scrolling through web pages the Control Bar popped up every third stroke. It is very easy to change the setting of the Wy Fi setting from On to Off while deleting the unwanted Control Panel without any indication. This means that the Wy Fi must be constantly checked to make sure that is ON???
The three problems at the same time have made this the worst mess to fix in 12 years of internet use. The fix has lasted for about 8 hours at this point, Tomorrow will tell. -
I have been using IPHONE and sync my music from my computer. However, i can no longer do this. It all goes thru the same motions, but the newer songs i want to put on my phone are not there.

I have not used this Touch iPod for quite some time and thought I would use it for collecting email when I am out. I have wasted a lot of time trying to get this to work and now wonder if the 2nd generation is too old to send and receive email.
I am using imap on all my other devices. I use a Google domain email address. The only divice I have that will not sync is this older generation iTouch. The version without the camera. Model PB528LL. I know my email address is correct and the password works everywhere else.

maryyou still didn't answer the question.... unless you mean to say that you have an AT&T e-mail account. (e.g. @att.net)
If that's what you mean, they use Yahoo for e-mail services. Yahoo's mail servers are notoriously bad. This comes up here at least several times a week. The problem is on the Yahoo end. Trust me, the AT&T rep you spoke to doesn't know what they are talking about. Removing and re-adding the account increases the odds that you will actually hit a working server, but it's not guaranteed to do so.
Set up a gmail account or iCloud account and consider switching. -
Im trying to send out a word document via email. It tells me it cannot send because I have not yet set up an account with enterage. My email is active already with Apple regular mail program. How can I send it out through reg mail?
Save the Word document. Create your email in your normal mail application (Mail?), click on the add attachment icon (the paperclip if you are using Mail). Navigate to where you saved the Word file and select it. It should now appear as an attachment in your email. If you are sending it to a PC user and you are using Mail make sure 'Send Windows-friendly attachments' is selected in the edit menu. And if you don't want the attachment to display inline within the body of the email Control+Click on it and select 'view as icon'.
