TS2776 I have reinstalled iTunes and it recognises my playlists but I am unable to sync my ipod so that all the content shows on my desktop iTunes...can you help?

Hi....Cannot sync my ipod to my iTunes after reinstalling software

Syncing an iDevice does not cause media to appear on the computer.
iDevices are not backup devices.
All of the media should already be on the computer.
