Possibly I have the same situation. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. I have posted a question and no one at Apple has responded to me yet. Diagnostics say my laptop cannot reach the Apple site. I have a desktop that accesses just fine via the same network. Clearly it appears to me a permissions issue with the new software that my laptop does not auto adjust to or for. I am running XP Pro on both machines and have no problem accessing the internet, as you can see.

You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

Delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder. Then launch iWeb and see if it opens.
What happened was trying to open the html file reset the file path that iWeb saves in its preference file to tell it where to go when you launch iWeb. Deleting the pref file and launching iWeb creates a new file and iWeb looks in your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder for the Domain.sites2 file it uses to create your site.

I am having this issue with the browser, the top of the page in the header I keep receiving in parentheses (Not Responding) or connection lost.why?

There is an issue of receiving the pop windows stating that there is an problem with the script also. I get all of these problems when I am on facebook or even when I am logging onto my email account and the web.. At first it was not as bad, but has gotten more and more in the last couple of weeks..I tried the reset in the troubleshoot area to see maybe going back to the first default would help with Firefox,,but no..Please need some help with what to do..I have made sure that all of the plug ins are up to date. I can't listen to the built-in speakers on my brand new Apple thunderbolt monitor to the terrible audio quality. I'm running Mac Lion on a new Mac Mini with a brand new Promise Pegasus R4 - all purchased in January 2012. The entire setup is connected via Thunderbust errh, I mean Thunderbolt.

Many add-ons work only with a particular range of Firefox versions. After the upgrade, Firefox will attempt to find new compatible versions. This is not always possible.
To determine whether an add-on you can't live without has a version for Firefox 11, you can check the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ Add-ons site] or try this add-on to make that a little easier (I haven't tried it myself): [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/is-it-compatible/ Is It Compatible? :: Add-ons for Firefox].
By the way, many recent posts report problems with Skype add-ons, so you might want to research here if you notice any strange copy/paste problems.

How to reset and make this work again?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

The icon highlights when I click on it, but then it stops and won't open the browser at all. Firefox will not open for other users on a shared computer with individual accounts one day after installing Firefox

On a computer that is shared with multiple users(3),two of the users cannot open Firefox,only one user can. It shows the blue circle (Windows 7) but it disappears and does not open. Task Manager shows its running,but after closing,it won't open. Are there settings to adjust in Windows,or on Internet Options?

EXTERNAL USB Drive will not open with Snow Leopard

External USB drive will open with SL. The drive icon appears on the desktop. When I click on it, Error message, "The alias USB Drive can't be opened because the original item can't be found." When I click on "Fix Alias", a window pops up and shows the usb drive in a list but does not respond when I click on it. I then tried disk utility and tested the disk and it tested OK. The drive still will not open. This problem started after I installed Snow Leopard. Need Help.

The same error is produced when I try to mount a smb share.
I select the "connect to server" (cmd-K). Input the share info "smb://<user>@<server>/<share_path>
At the auth prompt, I input my credentials.
The error pops up, same as original poster.

You need to tell iphoto to send raw files out of iphoto or it will make its own conversion and send a pre-converted file. Go to the iphoto preferences>advanced and turn on this checkbox:
