I need help I got a new Ipad yesterday at my local asda store, I spen 6 hours last night, trying to getthis to activate,
I kept being told we cound not compleet your iteunes stor request an unknown error accoured, 0X80090318 fromy my itune on line computer,
from the ipad i got your ipad could not activated because the actication server cnnot be reached try connecting your ipad to itenes to acticate it i did that all night nothing

Did you update Windows recently or install new software on your computor?bDetach your iPad and do a system Restore on your computer. It normally takes only 5 minutes.
(Start, Programs, Accessories, System, System Restore.
Click on “Restore my PC to an earlier period” and then click on Next.
Choose the most up to date system restore point in the “click a restoration date” listing, then click Next.
Click ‘Next’ on the verification window.
Reboot your computer once the restoration is done.)

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Did you already activate iCloud on your iPad, Settings > iCloud.

I have a new ipad and everything works but can't connect to the app store. Itunes works and the wifi seems to be working but i get a blank white screen when i open the appstore. Nothing will load unter the features or charts tab so i cant download any apps. Purchased and updates tab loads fine. Any suggestions?

Just bought a new iPad, and my highlights and bookmarks will not sync to it through iBooks.
Hey, I just bought the third-generation iPad. I have been reading on the iPad 2 for a year now, and have hundreds of books in my library. Because I'm such an intense reader, and value my highlights, it upset me when I bought the new iPad, synced it to iTunes, and then highlights and bookmarks were not transferred to the new iPad. The books were all out of order when they synced, and I had to rearrange them, but they were in the correct collections. This was my first hint that something was wrong. Next, when I opened my books, I could not find a single highlight in any of them. I checked all the books on my iPad 2 and they're fine as usual, everything is how I left it, including my bookmarks and highlights, and I even went into settings and made sure sync bookmarks was on on both iPads. I am completely confused and frustrated. I even put my new iPad into DFU mode and tried to re-sync everything, nothing is working. They just won't sync. Could someone please help me out, this means a lot to me. Also: is anyone noticing that the multitouch is slightly off with the new iPad? I'll go to tap dictation or drag an icon to another page, and it's just not that responsive. a few times I have clicked the dictation button but I gotten a space in instead. It seems you just have to press harder almost. Lastly, my 30 pin seems to be a little tight. I put a standard 30 pin sync cord that came with my original iPad 2 and iPhone 4 into the 30 pin and I almost had to jam it into the 30 pin slot. I work with iDevices all day long and have never had one that needed to be jammed in before. It doesn't seem good for the iPad. Yes, I am borderline about to return it, but the screen just looks so much clearer, I can't go back to my iPad 2. Wow, again I pressed the dictation button and the spacebar activated instead. If anyone can figure out this whole iBook situation so I can get my bookmarks and my highlights back, I would really appreciate it!
I also tried manually underlining a few things on the new iPad and when highlighting a paragraph, it would skip a few lines and the line would go through a few as well. Looks like a major iBooks glitch needs to be addressed here.

First, your husband can create his own Apple ID via the web, computer, or iPad, if he hasn't already:

how do you transfer Apple IDs from one ipad to another iPad? I got the new ipad and gave my ipad 2 to my wife who had the first version and now I can't get my Apple ID off so she can use her Apple ID.
You don't transfer Apple ID's from one device to another one. You sign out in the settings, )the App Store and iTunes if necessary) and then sign in with the other ID.
Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID>Sign out. Them sign in with the other ID. You can sign out of the app store and iTunes as well by going to the featured Atab in the App Store and the music tab in iTunes, swipe to the bottom and access the Apple ID in there.
You should have erased the iOad before you gave it to her in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. That way she could set up the iPad as new with her own Apple ID.
Be aware of the fact that if you use each others ID's in order to download past purchased content to your own iPads, you will lock yourself out of your own ID as you will have associated your iPad with the other person's Apple ID.
In other words, if you sign into your wife's ID on your iPad so that you can download an app or an album so that you don't have to pay for it again, you will lock yourself out of your Apple ID for 90 days. -
I purchased a new iPad and my old iPad went to my daughter. I have a problem though in that my iTunes account has been taken over by her email address. If I want to redeem a voucher on my account her email address appears. How do I correct this?
Did you take a backup in between taking the photos and deleting them ? If you did then try restoring to that backup (you will need to restore the whole iPad, you can't just do the Photos app) and they should be put back.

When you create new albums directly on your iPad and 'copy' photos into them you are effectively just creating pointers to the orginal photos, you aren't creating copies of the photos - so if you then delete the original photo you will also be deleting all pointers to and therefore be removing it from all albums that you've copied it into (you should have got a warning when deleting the photo that that would happen). -
I have a new IPAD and just bought APple TV. Need to set up home sharing on my account and have followed Support options wherein you log into ITunes, choose advanced, then allow Home sharing. You don't share content from AppleTV (as it contains no content) and you can AirpPlay from iPad to AppleTV, not share content.
To turn on Home Sharing on the iPad, Settings > Store.
THis allow soyu to view the content of the iTune slibrary on your comnoputer. -
A new iPad and new Express, but no Mac - can't set up network!
Here's a puzzler (for me at least) --
Mom bought a new iPad and new Airport Express. She has no Mac, so no iTunes and no syncing. Her iPad does NOT have Airport Utility. She's starting from scratch.
Her Express is connected to her Cox Cable Cisco modem, shich shows steady green for good internet connection. The express flashes amber, I assume becuase there's no network set up.
Her iPad sees the Express -- Wi-Fi in the Settings menu has "Apple ..." where the network name appears -- and the wireless signal 'fan' shows strong in the top bar.
In iPad > Settings > Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi shows 'on', no editable network shows, and no "create network" option shows.
She can't get Airport Utility without internet or syncing to a Mac, and she can't see any way to create a network, or see any existing network that she can forget or manage.
Is this simple Cox Cable > Cisco modem > Express wireless > iPad a workable setup?
Is there any way to create the wireless network without Airport Utility?

P.S. The iPad isn't pristine connection-wise. It was temporarily connected to a public Wi-Fi to complete setting up an iCloud account, and so get to the home screen for the first time. BUT, my mom is ancient and fearful, and I don't want to send her out to find public Wi-Fi to set up a a credit card account so she can use the app store to get utility if I don't have to. Help.Thanks CRMDVM -- ...which means, I think, that she will need to go out into the wide world to find public wireless. Makes me wish Airport Utility was one of the stock apps that came with the iPad.
Any other ideas? Any way to manually configure on an iPad? Anything? Thanks.

My husband got a new ipad and set up his own apple id without looking into the implications of that. Now I want to sync this ipad with our itunes so we can access it on here, but our itunes has a different apple id. Any way to do this?
You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

I have the new IPad and can't connect via bluetooth to any of my apple devices (IPhone 4s and appleTV) neither from my new IPhone 4s. When I turn the Bluetooth on, both devices keep in searching mode... I don't know what to do now... Please help... I can't pair any device because they can't find whitin themselves.
