In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

I'm having a very similar problem.
I'm based in the U.K. and am trying to publish an iBook through the iTunes bookstore. I have made my book in iBooks author 2.0. My iTunes is up to date.
When I try and publish the iBook I have passed and ticked the Pre Publish Check; and the Create Account, but when I try and download iTunes Producer through iTunes Connect I'm told "Your Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Content."
When I try and re-set my iTunes Store account I'm told "The iTunes Store Account has already applied to distribute content on the iBookstore." Of course it has I just did that.
If I try and sign in to iTunes Connect through the Publishing pane I'm told "Your ID or Password was entered incorrectly." Even though I've just used it to sign into iTunes (and here), so my password and Apple ID work fine elsewhere.
Is my access to the iTunes Connect being delayed while my submission is processed, i.e. the processing of my tax and account details? Or am I stuck in a loop?
If this is still processing (I started this 20 hours ago) I assume that I have to submit the book itself when I can download iTunes Producer at a later date, as I haven't submitted the book yet?
I emailed the problem to iTunes Store and was refered to [email protected], only for them to say they don't read or reply to emails sent to that address??????
I'm not sure which part of the process I've reached - if any. I feel I'm in limbo. I have an iBook ready to go - but where is Apple?
Any help would be most welcome.

I am currently replying to this as it shows in the iChat Community.
I have asked the Hosts to move it to Snow Leopard (you should not lose contact with it through any email links you get)
I also don't do Wirelss printing so I can't actaully help either.

You have some (major) issues.
Are you in Recovery Mode ? Used Option key or Command R to get there?
I would grab the ML installer ESD you saved and do a clean install on another drive and begin to rebuild to a new system.
You may or may not have TimeMachine but have backed up problem files.
Having a bootable backup clone of your system is a must.
Hard shutdowns will add more layers of problems and add to whatever there was before.
Generally there is not a need to use Disk Utility other than to repair permissions either before or after installing updates.
Have you:
tried with everything else unplugged so you don't have any external devices
tried with a safe boot
Why.
After any forced shutdown you should use ML Recovery and one Safe Boot on the first next boot from a working system.

I HAD two accounts because of this problem. I completely removed the problem account from the Apple Mail client. Guess what is happening?? That's right - Mail is still sending from the other account that no longer exists on my computer, and I have absolutely no idea how this is happening. This is incredibly frustrating. When a recipient chooses to reply to my message, quite often I won't get it now because it is going to the other account that has now been deleted from my system. COME ON APPLE!!! How do I specify the gmail outgoing server if I have multiple gmail accounts in my mail? I have 2 business accounts and when I send mail from one account, it is sent from the other account and the sending email is not from the correct account.

I love my apple email and do not want to use google mail on safari. However, I have 2 gmail accounts set up on apple mail, but when I send mail from one of my gmail accounts (I choose the specific gmail account in the drop down window), it actually goes out as if it is from the other gmail account. I can't have that happen because one is my job, the other is a personal business account and unfortunately, the mail from both gmail accounts want to send through the personal business account. How do I make it send from a specific gmail account? I even tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again hoping I set it up wrong in the first place, but to no avail, it is still doing the same thing except this time I set the job account up first and then the personal business account and now everything goes from the job account! I have 2 Gmail accounts, one Google Apps account and one regular Google account.
I use one for my business and the other for personal use.
Each account has a number of contacts (business contacts in the Google Apps account, and personal in the other). My problem is that when I made the configuration, only my personal contacts shows, not the one in the my business account
E-mail and calendars work just fine but the issue with contacts really bothers me. Can some one help?

You can't sync contacts between iPhone and Google directly and (i've tested this right now) you can't sync iTunes with two Google Accounts but only with one Google Account.
There is only one solution: First go to your private Google Account (use the website) and select Contacts. Select all contacts and export them as vCard (for Apple addressbook) and import them into iCloud addressbook. Now do the same with your business Google Account.
It is possible that there is a 3rd-party software which can do this automatically but i don't know any. Sorry!

I have 2 gmail accounts on my iphone 5 with IOS 7 - a private and a business account. Both are set up exactly the same way, just the username and the password are different. One account synchronizes as usual via mail app, the other account seems to do the same thing as well but after synchrinizing this account is highlighted grey for a while. When I go to "all mails" I see tons of mails dated 01.01.1970 with no sender or content. After a few minutes I can use the account in a normal way again and all the " no sender " mails vanished. How can I fix the problem?

For me the same problem: 2 gmail accounts, one ore both have often the folder greyed out. After a reset by holding down both buttons it works for a few minutes then the problem is there again.
Also the same problem with the no subject 01.01.1970 emails (this was also there in previos IOS and never been solved!).
I have a 4S with IOS7.
For now my only solution is to switch to Mailbox.

I have a gmail account set up on my mac. A few days ago I sent an email with photos in it and this email now is continuosly being recovered. In the meantime my inbox has stopped downloading new messages, even when i press Get New Mail. How can I stop the repeated recovery of the email and how can I get my inbox to download again?

OK, I persevered and used the Rebuild mailbox option on Mail, actually had to do it twice, but now when I boot up and Mail opens all the previously received iCloud messages I've read on iPhone/iPad are pushed through.
Back to normal...

If you need to use a different Apple ID (iTunes Store account) with iTunes on your Mac, you can sign out and then back in with the other account:
Open iTunes. ...select Store > Sign Out, then select Store > Sign In and enter your current Apple ID.
