Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
- Close iTunes, if it's open
- Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security' on the top
- Untick all the security options in the menu
- Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
- Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
- Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
- You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
- Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!

Unfortunately, Apple removed the feature to "browse backups" in Time Machine backups of iPhoto a few years ago.
You have to restore the entire iPhoto library to a separate location to be able to "see" it, and then choose the specific images that you want use.

If you go beyond the credit from a gift card the balance will be billed to your credit card account.

Nonesense, why would a service that offers redeemable cards as cash would require a credit card verification. Who is answering this question? I am sick of Apple! Same issue. I complete one purchase and on the next one I get stuck in an endless loop of it asking for my password over and over. I have to close iTunes, reopen and it's fine, but that is ridiculous to do for every purchase.

It sounds like the App is crashing. Since it's a built in app and you can't delete and re-download it, try these troubleshooting steps.
1) Restart your iPod.
2) Backup your iPod.
3) Reset All Settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings on the iPod.
4) Restore the iOS via iTunes.
5) Restore your backup that you created from Step 2.
