TS3406 My iphone 6 loses audio to/from the caller randomly.  It is working fine then drops audio both ways.  Also sometimes when I make a call, it goes through, but no audio to/from. Rebooting corrects. Help?

iPhone 6.  When making a call, I have no audio in/out of the phone, but the other phone rings and connects.  It happens randomly.  I have also lost audio in/out in the middle of a phone call as well.  Rebooting resolves the problem until it happens again.
is this a software issue or does my hardware have an issue?  Currently running iOS 8.1.1, but it has happened since the phone was new with 8.0...

Well, I think I figured it out... at least I've stopped it from happening...
I have a third party bluetooth receiver that I use occasionally in my car that is hooked up to the stereo's AUX port.  One time, when my phone cut out in the middle of a call, I looked down and the phone call had been switched to playing through that bluetooth device.  I told the phone to forget the device, and it hasn't happened since.  (About 3 weeks)
What is odd is that this would happen when I was 500 feet away from my car at my office and couldn't have sensed the bluetooth signal.  (Also the car had been off for hours).
It doesn't happen with my phone still acknowledging the handsfree bluetooth in my car, but I seem to have solved my inability to speak or hear...  I just need to forget the bluetooth adapter every time I stop using it.
