When songs cannot be found, it's either because they have been moved from the original location that you told iTunes, renamed or deleted.
So have you:
renamed songs?
moved them to a different loaction on your computer since you imported them into itunes?
deleted them since you imported them?
stored you iTunes library on an external drive? If so, that drive needs to be on and ready every time before you start iTunes.
... or is another programme renaming or even moving them, such as Windows Media Player? (It has been known to if you let it.) Did you previously use Windows Media Player? -

I have songs in my iTunes Application that will not play. I keeps saying that this computer is not authourized to play name of song would you like to authourize it. The problem is its the old account I had and that has been changed. How am I going to authorize these songs when this account no longer exists.
I posted about this yesterday -- it happened to me, and the solution was incredibly simple. An Apple tech guy had me delete my SC Info Folder, located on my XP in Application Data.

It wasn't every song, just a few of them. A nightmare to figure out what to do, but it was solved upon reboot. -

The usual reasons for an Apple ID getting disabled are either unauthorized activity or violations of the Terms & Conditions.
Submit your request to iTunes Customer Service and if appropriate, they will re-enable it. -

You can replace the back glass or get a case. There are many iPhone repair centers... Google for one. You can also try the Apple store... I've heard they will replace the back for about $30.

I bought itunes match over a year ago and didn't really like it so I removed it from my phone/itunes library altogether but I still have like 12 songs that are stuck on the phone and will not play because my itunes match has now expired, they can't be removed either apparently. I've tried all the regular ways so please somebody come up with something original way to get rid of them. They have no cover art and are really starting to bother me.
Make sure you don't have updates yet for oldify etc if not , Do reset. On whole phone. Updates will come for oldify.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue. -
I am having trouble with songs that will not play completely through.
I am having trouble with songs that will not finish playback. The songs play about 75% of the way and then stop mid-song. This is true for my PC and songs transferred to my iPod. I have redownloaded (and repaid) for one song to see if that helps, which it did. But that can become expensive as I am starting to find an increasing amount of songs that are haaving this problem.
Take it to a genius bar. It's probably something with the magnets.

Video slides in Captivate 7 that will not play once published

I recently created an eLearning within Captivate 7 that contains several video slides. When published, the video slides no longer work and instead have a spinning wheel that will not go away. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to redo the video slides.

Once you publish your files, they *SHOULD* be on your local hard drive. And it's odd, but things behave differently when you play them from your local hard drive than they will once you copy them to the Web Server that all your end users will be accessing the content from.
What was suggested was to copy the files to that Web Server and test from there to see if the issue persists.

I am not sure if the synching will pull the audio from my phone and replace the 'not working' files on my i-tunes, or if it will replace the working audio on my phone with the non-functioning audio on my pc.
Thanks for any insight...No it won't. You are getting that message because those song are no longer in your my music folder and itunes doesn't know where to look for the file.
