TS4008 Can't find an answer to this question.

I will just break down the details simply and hopefully it makes sense.. A friend and I follow each other using Find my Friends. Only recently have we started having a problem, where in, I am not able to follow my friend, after we have already been following each other. On the app's screen it will have their name and it will say they are "a follower." But I am not able to follow their location. On their end, everything is seemingly fine.
It doesn't even go as far as to say "location unavailable" (which would happen if they went incognito or stopped their location services, right?) when I tap on my friends name, just says that they are a "follower," again I cannot follow them. So I am having to re-invite them multiple times a day. Can anyone explain what is going on or how to fix this issue? Is it a known issue?
Have closed the app, uninstalled, re-installed, updated iPhones to current software, reset phones. Have made each other "favorites." Don't know what else to do.

I've read a whole bunch of forums about printing from the Ipad2, I think I understand that, but I haven't found anything answering this: I'm hesitating to buy an Ipad because I can't find an answer if this will work.

What I want to do: Set up a (non-gmail...Mobileme or another recommended) dedicated email account on my ipad2 (or ipad3) that does nothing but send e-mails and attachments to my gmail account. Once sent, I can turn off my Ipad and put it away. Then I can go to any computer that can open and print out my received gmail and attachments. (Like, duh, any computer with an internet connection -smile-)
A year from now, I might try setting this up to go thru google cloud/ cloud print -- do you know if apple is doing anything that willl prevent this?
For now, just e-mail and attachments, sent to my gmail account from ipad. The ipad account is to use a unique e-mail address, password, username, login.
Know if this will work? If a work-around is needed, do you know of one? I'm real vague about what a 'push' is in e-mail speak.

If you can access the email, why would you need to resend it to the same account?

Don't understand/know what you are working around...
Access the email then send to your landlord or nephew and have them print it.
If they have an AirPrint printer available, you can print it yourself.
Use their computer to access your email though webmail and print it on their printer.
Again, I don't understand what forwarding the email to yourself will accomplish.

I am trying to learn some things that arent taught to me in class and I would say that I am a beginner, but I have a solid knowledge base of the syntax of java. I am trying to make a program that will log into my gmail account for me. I have to do a presentation at the end of the semester and I would like to take the input from the user and log into gmail by outputting the input taken into the gmail login textboxes. Is this done through source or is it something different. I know this seems pointless, but I think it is fun to learn new things in this language. I can always make it more usefull for myself if I go back and make my usename and password static or final within my class. If anyone can help me or at least tell me what classes in the API would be helpfull for this that would be great. Thanks.

I have always found Firefox great but i'm about to switch to google chrome because for the last month or more everytime i click on lots of links i need to visit, firefox says:
'Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (javascript) isn't associated with any program.'
I try the same sites on google chrome and its fine.
this happened ever since the last Java update.
I have tried to go to the about:configure page and toggle the list from true to false , but it doesn't work - loads of them still keep coming up as false.
I'd be really grateful is someone could tell me how to fix this or i will have to say bye to firefox which is really sad as it used to be great

According to a suggestion in another thread, you may want to try the following to return certain JavaScript settings to their defaults.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''javasc''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If the line with '''network.protocol-handler.external.javascript''' is bold (or shows user set true), double-click it to return its value to the default setting of false. This should get rid of that error.
(4) If the line with '''javascript.enabled''' is bold (or shows user set false), double-click it to return its value to the default setting of true.
Another thing to do would be to see if you have a user.js file active in your Profile Folder. The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release. You can get to the profile folder below:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Show Folder
or
*Go to '''about:support''' and click Show Folder next to Profile Directory.

Apple Products: 2 IPAD 2's. iMac, 2 Iphone4S, iphone 3S, Ipods. I have 1 itunes account and make play list, for each device that needs to sync, but it seems I might have to have multiple accounts? Also same thing with photo library on my iMac. I would not want to have multiple accounts if I don't need to. But it seems the ipads can not send Messaging or use the Apple talk to each other because I use the same Itunes account? There is no manuls to set these up. If just one person, all would work fine. But this is a family....

Searching but can't find an answer to my question

I am relatively new to the world of Mac and I think I am adjusting well but I have been trying to get my printer to connect wirelessly through an airport express since August with no luck. The printer works fine if connected directly to my macbook but when I try to choose the printer through bonjour I get an error 9672 message. I see the printer in the bonjour window but it gets the error when trying to add the printer. Can anyone help???????????

Press "Command P" and when the Print dialogue box comes up, towards the bottom there is an option allowing you to choose the text size, i.e: small, med, large.

Your biggest problem will be finding a retail copy of the Leopard install DVD. Finding a Family Pack will be even harder.

We're experiencing a growing problem with our users in several different domains running in to Microsoft Office 2013 x32 'activation' issues. We use KMS for licensing, which works properly, but some of the machines (~20-30 out of 1000+) sporadically
throw the following error:
'Microsoft Office can't find your license for this application. Microsoft Office will now exit.'
We know it's not an issue with the licenses per se, since they work on and off and we can force KMS activation correctly / talk to the KMS servers.
It appears to be an issue with the Software Protection service not starting properly. In Event Viewer, we see the following:
'Software protection service failed to start due to the following error- the service did not respond in a timely fashion.
Event 7000'
This is occurring on a variety of machines in a variety of environments, all fully patched with the latest Office updates. It's inconsistent, and the 'manually restart the Software Protection Service' solution is not viable as it's occurring on many
different workstations. Office repairs have also been unsuccessful.
Has anyone else come across this? Or have any idea why the Software Protection Service might be sporadically failing? Maybe an Office update in the last 2-3 months?

All the storage in "Backups" is taken up by local snapshots, which are made automatically in all MacBooks, MacBooks Pro and MacBooks Air with OS X Lion or newer and Time Machine turned on.
