Data Quality tab for migration isn't working as expected.

I was doing a test migration from DB2 (9.7) database to Oracle 11g using SQL Developer Version 3.2.20.09 Build MAIN-09.87. I found that the Data Quality tab for record count comparison from migration project wasn't working as expected.
It’s not showing the record count from source database. It is showing following error in logging page after every refresh. It is happening because tool is populating SOURCENAME as "DB2"."SCHEMANAME"."TABLENAME" whereas the SOURCENAME should be consist of schema name and table name only. I have gone through the MD_META package and Database views, which are written for repository and found that its appending catalog name in case of source database is DB2.
Is this a known issue? Do we have fix available? I think we need a change in QUOTE function of MD_META package and DB views. Please suggest.

Yes, it is a known issue. Bug 11778359: DB2:RUN DATA QUALITY REPORT GET UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: DB2 SQL ERROR
The bug is unpublished so you can't see it in My Oracle Support, I just mentioned it for reference.
Do we have fix available?Not yet. A fix shall be available in a future version of SQL Developer. Don't ask me in which one and when, I have no idea.
I think we need a change in QUOTE function of MD_META package and DB viewsI don't agree. I don't know what might break if you manipulate that package.

Data Entry Tab for Numeric Indicator does not Exist

Hi
I'm trying to set the data range for numeric indicators on LabVIEW 10.0.1. For some reason when I go to properties of my numeric indicator, there is no Data Entry Tab as explained on the NI website: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvhowto/changing_data_ranges_of_nu/. Also, in the data type tab, there is a section for range but everything is grayed out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I just realized that data entry on a numeric indicator doesn't really make sense. But my question is, how do I go about setting data range for a numeric indicator? Based on this tutorial : http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/320998a.pdf (Page 128/250) in the older versions there seems to be a data range tab or option when you write click the indicator. In my case, the range is greyed out and I tried to play with it with no avail.

Saving tabs and quitting isn't working

under the tabs setting in options there is no option to turn saving tabs on and off. i started firefox in safe mode to see if any of my extensions/addons had anything to do with it. i also tried renaming the two files for tab saving suggested by troubleshooting. none of the above suggestions from troubleshooting work.

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page. 
 
Another possibility is to use:
*Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Auto Setup for Client Isn't Working (kgotauthenticationfailure)

Hi,
I am trying to bind my 10.6.3 clients to my 10.6.3 server. When I log into a local account on a desktop and add the server in under the accounts pref I am asked for the username and password of user. I enter this and then get a kgotauthenticationfailure message.
I have worked around this by just adding the server and manually configuring ichat, mail etc. However I can't get the time machine to work as it has an old username in it. It tries to mount [email protected] instead of the new username (I reinstalled the server hence old usernames in the time machine settings). I have looked and looked for the plist file that gives the URL for time machine but can't find it.
Can anyone tell me why I get kgotauthenticationfailure and what it is (I assume something to do with Kerbos - which I though had to be turned on, sure I never did that). Failing that any idea how to manually configure the URL that time machine mounts for network backups?

Are the client Macs all created from a central image? If so, yes, it's a Kerberos key failure. The local KDCs need to be flushed from the image or from each Mac before you do your bind. Also good idea to discard the system keychain while you're at it.
Here's a simple sh script to do it.

Scrabble for iPad isn't working.

I have the most updated version of iOS software. I deleted the app and reloaded. I got the game, but if someone invites me to play I'm prompted to download the app again. No way to connect with the person who I'm trying to play with.

Have you tried restarting or rebooting your iPad to see if that helps?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

My Galaxy S III email setup for Yahoo isn't working

I'm not able to setup my Galaxy S III for Yahoo mail. I get an message 80315, that the username or password is incorrect. They're not--I tried several times! I tried using both the Yahoo setup and the generic Other manual setup. It retrieved all the info from Yahoo OK, but at the end gave me the same message, about my username or password being incorrect.
(I encountered a similar problem with live.com, which I was able to fix using the Manual setup.)

Yahoo email setup has been troublesome for a while for android devices. Try the Yahoo app from the Play Store instead.

Partition for SL isn't working

I recently downloaded Lion. I have read that if I create a partition I can also run Snow Leopard. I did this and made it about 12 GB because I only need to run my CD's for nursing school on it. When I put in my original SL disk it says " You can't use this version of the app to install Mac OS X with Version of Mac os X you have Mac os x 22.11" What does this mean? this is the original SL disk I had on my computer before I had Lion. I do not know what to do. PLEASE HELP!

Hold the "Option" key when booting ... you will see a choice of systems to boot into.
Under "System Preferences > Startup Disk" you can choose the default system to boot into.
Before you upgrade to Lion, you really really need to make a CarbonCopyClone backup (free download). SuperDuper is an equally capable alternative. Both, when put on an external self-powered disk allow you to "option boot" onto that clone if any part of the upgrade fails or if yu decide you want to go back to SL in the end (not bashing Lion -- several have gobe back after trying Lion).

Coherence | Indexing a Collection based attribute isn't working as expected

I have an Employee object

I push the following data to a Coherence 3.7.1 instance
 employeeId=100

 subjects = {"biology", "french", "physics"}
 employeeId=102
 subjects = {"maths", "german", "chemistry"}
I then used the following code to query my data
 Set searchTerms = new HashSet();
 searchTerms.add("physics");
 Filter filter =
 new ContainsAnyFilter("getSubjects", searchTerms);
 setResults = employeeCache.entrySet(filter);
This code executed fine and gave me the proper result count.
But when I added an index on the getSubjects method using employeeCache.addIndex(new ReflectionExtractor("getSubjects"), false, null), and executed the same query, I got a significantly lower result count.
This is happening consistently! A pre-index count of 2150 comes down to around 200 after I add the index.
Can anyone think of a reason why my result count comes down after I add the index?

Routing Method for Response Groups not Working as Expected

I have a situation where Response Groups are not routing calls in the order specified in the group settings. Serial is the primary setting used in this situation so the same person is always called first. However, the calls are being routed randomly.
One Response Group was deleted entirely and recreated which seemed to solve the problem temporarily but the problem returned as soon as the Response Group was modified.
CU level appears to be July 2013.
I have not had a chance to dig in and do any logging yet but will soon. However, if anyone has seen this behavior or has any suggestions any feedback is appreciated.

I have some logs now and what I am seeing on a working call (in my lab) is what I would expect. It tries each person in order top down. If that person does not answer then a SIP 487 message is returned and it moves on to the next person and sends
another INVITE, etc. until it gets to the end and does whatever is configured.
Note: the timeout for trying each group member is 20 seconds.
What I am seeing from the logs where this issue is occurring is it is trying the first user at the bottom of the list (another in the list before them was available). It is sending multiple INVITE messages to that person (who I instructed to not answer)
taking up the whole queue timeout (60 seconds) before trying the next person. It tries that person for another 20 seconds (which is beyond the queue timeout at this point). When that group member does not answer and it goes to voicemail
as configured.
Even more strangely in a second test it tried that same person at the bottom of the list, tried them twice, moved on to another available user, then back to the first user it tried (the queue timeout should have kicked in by now), then finally went to voicemail.

[SOLVED] Emesene isn't working as expected anymore (upgrade related ?)

Yesterday, I used emesene, it was working perfectly well, and today it isn't anymore: It's very laggy, I can't talk to anyone because the GUI is just a grey box which doesn't show conversations windows, of the list of contacts anymore.

Actually kmess is crashing as well 20 seconds after I login after I did the same updates. Seems to be related to this problem

Submit button via email isn't working as expected

I've read everything I can find and tried all the suggestions. I have a fairly simple form I'd like to post on a community council site for the community members to complete online then submit or print to fax or mail. The Submit button returns an error "This operation is not permitted." I am using mailto:[email protected] and have it set to send the etire PDF.
This is true for both Acrobat Pro X and 9. I may just be tired, but I just can't see what i'm doing wrong.
Suggestions?

That tends to indicate that the document is not Reader-enabled, which it needs to beif you want Reader to send the entire PDF. To Reader-enable with Acrobat 10, select: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features
