I have tried to update Icloud keychain but my screen has froze. Each time I try to agree the terms nothing happens. Only had ipad a couple of months.

If it really froze (you can't do anything with it), try rebooting it: press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon is displayed, then let go.

I have also realised that my contacts are not in iCloud. I have backed up my old iPhone several times (today!) and they are simly not getting there. Any ideas?

Find the .IPSW file that was downloaded and delete it, then re-download it.
If you're using a PC, shut off your antivirus and firewall software during the process.

I have Windows Vista and have tried everything! My Ipod Touch has Malfunctioned and cannot be recognized by Windows or Itunes! When I turn my Ipod on the white apple comes on and the 15 seconds or so after that a thin line comes on the screen above it.

A thin line appears above the logo then the loading sign pops up and then the whole thing freezes! I read somewhere to hold the home button and then plug in the usb will help it be recognized by Itunes or help to restore it! I tried that it didn't work.I tried uninstalling Itunes and then re-installing it. I have the newest version of Itunes and don't know what else is left to do? can someone please help?

Try placing the iPod in recovery mode (I think that is what you were try to do) and then try to restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

Since the latest update a previously combined album has separated and won't go back to normal...

I have about 30 singles downloaded onto itunes, each with its own individual cover, and each one renumbered and organised as part of an album. On itunes this is fine, they all play in order and everything seems okay, but everytime I sync with my ipod classic they split and duplicate into 5 different albums, each with a different cover from one of the singles contained within. The thing is, each album contains exactly the same songs arranged alphabetically instead of by track number, so I've basically got the same album 5 times. No matter what I've tried in terms of numbering the songs, completing the Artist, Album Artist and Composer fields, or ticking and unticking the Compilations box, nothing changes. As I've said, everything is where I want it to be according to itunes, but the ipod isn't playing ball.
I should mention that these singles had been successfully sitting as part of an album on the ipod for a year now, it wasn't until the first sync after the itunes 11 update that it fell apart.

You seem to have activated the type on a path tool. Just hold down with the cursor on the type tool in the pallet, and you can choose the plain text tool again.

The iCloud Account has Not expired...
The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

Ipad screen has frozen and won't switch off

My ipad has frozen on me in the middle of watching bbc iplayer and won't switch off either. Any suggestions.

It does not specifically address this particular issue per se. Rebooting/resetting the iPad is a basic troubleshooting tip that covers a whole multitudes of little issues in iOS devices.

Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore va iTunes:

PDF Export is a online service. It isn't a software for installation.

Ipod has itunes symbol on screen and charge cord but won't allow me to get on screen.

I went to restore my Ipod to original setting and after it turning off and coming back on, It shows itunes symbol and white charge cord coming up from bottom and it wont allow me to get off that screen. Hello Valerie,
Have you tried a hard reset yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
This may or may not work the first time around, so be sure to attempt this procedure at least 3 times.

Try a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.

Have you failed to regularly backup the device to iTunes or iCloud? If so, the data is gone.
If there are backups, restore the most current one from prior to the data disappearing.

Are you following these instructions?
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.
