If I have money in my itunes account and I want to download something less than the account amount, do I still have to put in credit card info.? How come I can't seem to access my account funds?

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store - you should be able to remove your card after entering it, it won't be charged (apart from a temporary store holding charge which your card issuer will remove within a few days or so) if your balance covers the purchase (you can't use your balance for gifting). Credit card details may also be requested if you change countries so as to confirm that you are able to purchase from your new country (e.g. that you have a billing address in that country).

Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps).

What fees/costs can you put on a credit card when closing on a home?

I am about to submit an offer on an investment property and would like to know what I can put on my card to get some rewards points. I believe the whole down payment is a direct wire from an account, but what other fees or costs associated with closing on a house can be paid with a card?

At the beginning, after receiving the preapproval, my LO asked for the credit card number I'd like to use to pay for the application fee. The application fee was the appraisal fee in my case and they didn't charge my card until the appraisal was ordered. I don't see any other chances to use a credit card to pay for anything else. Even if you put a credit or debit card on file with iTunes it will still use your balance FIRST.
I would suggest putting a card on file and testing to see if it will allow you to make a purchase, then removing the card from the account after successful download of an item.

Thank you for your advice. I followed your directions, but came up with the same results. However, I did discover that whenever I open up the iPhoto Library that is already existing on my MacBook a certain set of pictures shows up. But then when I open up the iPhoto Library from the Hard drive another set of pictures shows up. BUT not ALL of my pictures are showing up on the iPhoto Library from the hard drive. At least the last two years of pictures are not showing up?! Actually, it appears that all the pictures are there from when I started using iPhoto about 5 years ago up until around the time that I got my iMac desktop computer and started using that (2 years ago). I have noticed that more recent videos I have made are showing up in a folder on the hard drive, but will not appear when I open up iMovie?! Any ideas on how to access my pictures from the last 2 years off of the hard drive???

Have you checked the purchase history on your account ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent purchase is above the list).

The only other place to change a password for the computer login is in Users & Groups preferences. But I don't really know enough here to fix your problem. You can try fixing the keychain:

If you can't access your keychain, or forget your password If you can't get into your keychain file because you've forgotten your password or the keychain file appears to be corrupt, there are a couple of options.
