TT5121 error - Non standard type mapping?

Hi all,
I'm creating cache groups on the TT database, but for some tables I'm getting the following error:
TT5121: Non standard type mapping for column [Schema].[Table].[Column], cache operations are restricted.
I'm creating the tables on TT using the Oracle tables DDL, so I quite don't understand where's the problem. I found another thread here on OTN with a similar problem, but it didn't help me. Both TT and Oracle have the UTF8 Character Set.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
André

  • "Schema validation found non-data type errors" error when passing a string value to date field in infopath

    Hi,
    I have an infopath web brower enabled form. In the form i have a date field.
    I am passing the data from the database to that field using the C# code.
    But, as the field from database is coming as string, i am getting an error, and i am not able to assign the value.
    I get the date value from database as "3/25/2011 12:00:00 AM"
    I used the below code:
    [CODE]
    if (objInfopathFormcData.myRecievedDate != null)
      myRoot.SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field97", NamespaceManager).SetValue(objInfopathFormcData.myRecievedDate);
    [/CODE]
    I am getting the error as "Schema validation found non-data type errors".
    How to set the value for a date field in Infopath.
    Thank you

    HI,
    I fixed it:
    Below code is used to fix:

    DateTime dtmyRecievedDate;
    dtmyRecievedDate = Convert.ToDateTime(objInfopathFormcData.myRecievedDate);
    if (objFormcData.FcCompletionDate != null)
    xfield = myRoot.SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field97", NamespaceManager);
    DeleteNil(xfield);
    xfield.SetValue(dtmyRecievedDate.GetDateTimeFormats().GetValue(5).ToString());

  • How to use a non-standard true type font that won't be changed by the native environment on others' computers when they open the document?

    We are using a non-standard true type font (Zurich Ex BT) when creating a .pdf document but when others view it, the font is changed on their computers.  How do we use this font and keep it from being changed when others look at it?

    This is actually good stuff and well written but I hesitate to advise people to use either the "oven trick" or really even the heat gun method as both are notriously short-lived even if they appear effective. Your far better bet is to send the board in to one of the vendors on the internet who are set up to do a proper reball. Even those fixes are good for maybe 12-18 mos. But again, you get a high grade for spelling it out.

    Mayuri@dpka, you have syntax errors in your solution. If you're casting as varchar, then your syntax should read '1' instead of 1. Also at the end, it should be '0' instead of 0.
    Mayuri,
    To use your syntax, try this:
    IFNULL(CASE WHEN EDM_TRD_IR_LEG.LEG_ID=1 THEN CAST(EDM_TRD_IR_LEG.PAY_RECV_IND AS INTEGER) ELSE 0 END, 0)
    ...if you need the result as a numeric for aggregation purposes...

  • Conversion error with non-primitive types

    I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this problem or has a potential solution.
    The problem, in a nutshell:
    I have beans that use non-primitive types (Float instead of float) in the getters and setters. However I keep getting conversion error problems. If I switch to primitive types, I don't get conversion errors. The built-in FloatConverter says (in the documentation at least) that it supports both primitives and boxed types. This was all working in EA4, though. I am discovering this problem as I migrate from EA4 to 1.0.
    The code is pretty straightforward:
    public class Bean implements Serializable {
    public float getProp() {...}
    public void setProp(float) {...}
    public Float getPropOld() {...}
    public void setPropOld(Float) {...}
    <!-- works -->
    <h:inputText id="floatinput" value="#{BeanInstance.prop}"/>
    <!-- doesn't work -->
    <h:inputText id="floatinputold" value="#{BeanInstance.propOld}"/>
    Any ideas? I have tried explicitly calling the FloatConverter but that gave the same problems.

    Okay, I figured out my problem.
    The JSF spec implies that f:convertNumber may be used inside an h:inputText tag. The early versions of Core JSF go further and show f:convertNumber being used inside an h:inputText tag in one of the examples. (Chapter 7, conversions).
    However, this has been the source of my problem. When using f:convertNumber, the converter would automatically determine the data type without regard to the data type in the backing bean. Hence, it would try to pass Longs or Doubles to the bean instead of Floats.
    I believe this may be an issue in the 1.0 FR release.

  • InfoPath - "Schema validation found non-data type errors." at XmlWriter.Close()

    Greetings,
    I'm creating a form that allows for emailing attachments however I am having an issue. When I try to attach a file, I get an "Schema validation found non-data type errors." error message. It seems like it's something with the XML structure and
    I cannot find anything wrong.
    Here is the code:
    string myNamespace = NamespaceManager.LookupNamespace("my");
    using (XmlWriter writer = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:Email/my:AttachmentGroup", NamespaceManager).AppendChild())
    //Write to XML

    writer.WriteStartElement("Attachments", myNamespace);
    writer.WriteElementString("attachment", myNamespace, myEncoder.ToBase64String());
    writer.WriteElementString("attachmentCheckbox", myNamespace, "false");
    writer.WriteEndElement();
    writer.Close();
    Here is the structure of the XML (root node is myFields):
    <my:Email>
    <my:AttachmentGroup>
    <my:Attachments>

  • Type Mapping in Web Dynpro

    Hi there,
    rather a Web Dynpro newbie, I have scanned the documentation and forum threads to find whether there is something like a type mapping mechanism (say, your web service automatically creates Calendar attributes from xsd:dateTime elements, and you want to display them as dates in your view), but it seems there isn't.
    I have to do such type conversions by myself (by providing additional value attributes to my context node and populate them after executing the service call), right? Or did I overlook something?
    Regards
    Nils

    Hi Nils,
    define calculated context attributes of type readOnly=false for this purpose. In the generated getter and setter methods you can implement your own format (getter) and parse (setter) logic (or type mapping like you call it).
    Excerpt from the Web Dynpro Help:
    <i>Application-specific validations: You can use the setter and getter methods that are generated for writable calculated context attributes to format as well as parse and validate data application-specific. You can check the user input in the mutator method and save it in a separate, non-calculated context attribute. An error message is displayed if this is not successful. If you want to display the input value in the case of errors as well, then first you have to save the incorrect value in an additional usual context attribute, from which the access method of the calculated attribute is then supplied.</i>
    Also read thread Re: Problem with time input field about problems with time input fields.

  • Reverse proxing on non-standard ports

    Hi,
    I want to create a new Reverse proxy mapping between an application and a GlassFish instance running on non standard port (not 80 / 443). Creating a mapping for HTTP works fine, but I can't find a way to map both the http and the https ports to the mapping.
    I have an application SecurityTest running on instance
    http://links.mycompany.com:38081/rsd/SecurityTest
    https://links.mycompany.com:38182/rsd/SecurityTest
    I want a mapping for the application
    http://www.mycompany.com/rsd/SecurityTest/ -> http://links.mycompany.com:38081/rsd/SecurityTest
    https://www.mycompany.com/rsd/SecurityTest/ -> https://links.mycompany.com:38182/rsd/SecurityTest
    The application is more or less a hello world servlet that is secure (form login) so it switch from HTTP to HTTPS when not logged in to ask for the username / password. Mapping to the http port works for the public page, the redirect gives an error:
    Gateway Timeout

    Can anyone tell me how to configure the Web Server to make it work?

  • C++ STL library error: Non-const function ... called for const object

    Hello,
    I'm using the Forte Developer 6 Update 2 C++ compiler and standard library on Solaris 9 SPARC. I've installed the recommended patch set for C++ (both the workshop and platform patches).
    In my code, I have a STL set with some elements that I want to modify, say:
    typedef set<SomeClass> MySet;
    typedef MySet::iterator MySetIter;
    I'm trying to look for an element, then update some of its fields:
    MySet theSet;
    SomeClass sci;
    MySetIter it = theSet.find(sci);
    if (it != theSet.end()) {
    it->update_some_fields();
    The above code fails with the following error (some details scrapped):
    Error: Non-const function SomeClass::update_some_fields() called for const object
    Which is weird, since set::find() seems to return a set<...>::iterator, not a set<...>::const_iterator!
    If I try a workaround, like this:
    if (it != theSet.end()) {
    SomeClass &tmp = *it;
    tmp->update_some_fields();
    I get this other error:
    Initializing SomeClass& requires an lvalue.
    Is there some way to convince the Forte compiler to work around this situation (most likely a compiler / library bug)?

    This was fixed, too, by replacing the set with a map. It seems that the issue was related to the fact that any change made to a set member is supposed to not modify the elements that make up the key (the elements that are used in the comparison function to determine the ordering). The Windows (dinkumware) implementation of the STL allows set modifications, though I don't know how they check that the key fields are not modified. The Solaris implementation (and the GNU implementation, too) disallows any modifications made to set members. At least that's what a person more knowledgeable of C++ in our office found out. So I don't think the issue was related to template constructors or any unimplemented features after all.

    These type of Internal Errors are all too common in OWB and it's difficult to diagnose the exact problem.
    I'd suggest closing the Design Centre, going back in and trying to delete it again, this will often resolve Internal errors.
    There's also an article on Metalink Doc ID: 460411.1 about errors when deleting mappings but it's specific to an ACLContainer error, so may or may not be of use.
    One of the suggestions is to connect as the Repository Owner rather than a User and try to delete the mapping.
    Cheers

  • Type-mapping not working correctly, get "Unable to find a javaType for the xmlType" WARNING

    I'm manually creating a web-services.xml file, and using the autogen ant task to
    generate the codec XML/Java classes. The XML definition is provided by SAP.
    The ant build.xml file:
    <project name="buildWebservice" default="stubgen">
    <target name="stubgen">
    <clientgen ear="C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests\RMIS.ear"
    packageName="com.aa.rmis.webservice.client"
    clientJar="C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests\rmisws-client.jar"
    autotype="False" />
    </target>
    <target name="all" depends="stubgen"/>
    </project>
    The problem is seen below in the output from Ant. Note the WARNINIG. The problem
    is that the xml type cannot be mapped to the Java type.
    C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests>ant -buildfile clientbuild.xml
    Buildfile: clientbuild.xml
    stubgen:
    [clientgen] Generating client jar for RMIS.ear ...
    [clientgen] WARNINIG: Unable to find a javaType for the xmlType:['urn:sap-com:do
    cument:sap:business']:PaymentRequest.Create. Make sure that you have registered
    this xml type in the type mapping
    [clientgen] Using SOAPElement instead
    [clientgen] Compiling 4 source files to C:\DOCUME~1\944377\LOCALS~1\Temp\rmisws-
    client.jar-836624340
    [clientgen] Building jar: C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests\rmisws-client.jar
    BUILD SUCCESSFUL
    Total time: 17 seconds
    The Java source that has the implementation of the service methods is simply:
    package com.aa.rmis.webservice;
    import com.aa.rmis.ifr.request.*;
    public class TestService
    public TestService()
    public int serviceRequest(PaymentRequestCreate request)
    System.out.println("Received serviceRequest message");
    return 0;
    public void testStringRequest(String request)
    The web-service.xml file is attached, which contains the schema for the SAP PaymentRequest.Create
    object definition.
    Another problem I have, which is probably related, is that the service method
    that has a complex data type (non-built in data type) is not being deployed into
    the WebLogic server. But the other service method that simply takes a String
    parameter is.
    The steps I took are:
    1. Get XML from SAP Interface Repository (IFR) for PaymentRequest
    2. Use ant task autogen to generate the request codec classes
    3. Create the web-services.xml file by inserting the schema definition and the
    mapping file created by the autogen task, and defining the operations
    4. Build web-services.war file that contains all autogen compiled class files,
    the web-services.xml file, and the service implementation class
    5. Build the ear file that holds the web service files
    6. Use the clientgen ant task to generate (included above) to generate the client
    jar file that should contain the proxy for both of the service methods
    Environment:
    * WebLogic 7.02
    * JDK 1.3.1_06
    * JBuilder 9 Enterprise
    * Ant 1.4
    Possible causes:
    * Namespace not being used correctly
    * copied verbatim the mapping xml file generated by autogen into the web-services.xml
    file
    * xml-schema part of web-services.xml might not be set correctly
    * operation definition might not be using the correct namespace
    * Classpath used for ant might not be right
    * Doubt this is the problem, but I'm out of other ideas
    * Set by using the setWLEnv.cmd file provided by WebLogic
    * Tried adding the generated classes directory for my project to the classpath,
    but did not work
    I've been referencing the Programming WebLogic Web Services document throughout
    this entire process. I must be missing something.
    Can anybody from BEA help me out with this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi JD,
    I spent a few cycles looking over your web-services.xml file, however I
    don't have any suggestions other that one that looks like you have
    already tried, at the top, in the <schema...>
    targetNamespace="urn:sap-com:document:sap:business"
    Making edits to these generated files can be tricky and my only
    suggestion is to create a small reproducer to run by our outstanding
    support team.
    A quick look at our problem database shows one issue (CR095109) related
    to a similar problem at deploy time that was fixed with 7.0SP3. Again,
    the support folks will be able to help focus in on the issue.
    Regards,
    Bruce

  • G5 Second Display using the GeForce FX 5200 - Non-Standard

    I want to attach a second display to my machine, but the second plug on the card is a non-standard DVI-type connector. It looks like this:
    x x x x x x x x x x X X
    x x x x x x x x x x -----
    x x x x x x x x x x X X
    ...with 10 rows of 3 as opposed to 8.
    I have had trouble finding an adapter to use to convert this to VGA (which is what I meed to connect my second monitor). I've searched the Apple Store online to no avail, as well as Google. Perhaps I've had no luck because I don't know the name of this part.
    Any help is much appreciated!

    Hello! Does the port look like the one below? If so you'll need an adapter. Tom
    Actually, HERE is the page i was looking for that shows and describes all dvi connections.
