Turn off showing block diagram on pause

Hello,
Is there a way to disable the block diagram popping up when I pause a running VI?

No, there is no possibillity. But why do you want to pause it?
There are many ways to let your program go into idle if you want to without pushing the pause button.
Pause, highlight execution, stepping are debugging tools of labVIEW and most of the time in debugging you want to see the blockdiagram to see what is going on.

I have tried to watch programmes on ITV player, which I have successfully done in the past, but now it tells me it cannot find the video and that I need to turn off ad blocking on my computer. I personally try to avoid that "download assistant" whenever possible...

I wouldn't do that either. Just let it complete.
Pausing then disconnection you I net connection may drop the download again and then you may have to start over.

hmmmm. i've played with that a bit (now that i've found it), and i'm not sure precisely how to do that, or if it's possible. (other people feel free to leap in at this point.)
if you're doing a serious information-editing run while you're playing music in the background, you could try this workaround. create a temporary ordinary playlist, and drag in to that the songs that you want to edit info on. do the editing in that playlist. a song change going on in a different playlist (or the main library) won't adjust your view in the playlist that you're working in.
once you've finished the editing, you could just delete the playlist (or empty the contents of the playlist).

BUG: Layers that are turned off show up in published pages

Layers that have visibility turned off in the timeline still show up in the published page.
Also, these layers didn't have keyframes, which means they stayed on the entire time once they were instantiated.
This makes it NOT appear within the program, but DOES appear when publishing. Was driving me crazy, and should be considred a program bug, since turning off visibility should be both in the software and the published page.

Thanks for the quick response.
I can't send a link at the moment, but it should be reproduceable by creating a layer on the timeline, clicking the EYE icon to unset Element Visibility, then publishing or previewing. The element will still be visible on the preview and the published page.
I would expect the behavior of all layers that had visibility turned off to not be visible in the published page or preview.

Show block diagram programmatically?

I'm almost sure that I did this once and then took it back out. (the "show block daigram" case in the Menu Selection choice of an event structure is still in my code).
Anyway, I often start a program that runs for hours and then realize that I need to open subVIs or probe some wires. Since these programs have run-time menus I don't have the option to open the diagram once the VI is running. Is there a way to programmatically open the block diagrams window when a VI is running?

The ini used is one of the few time that LabVIEW programmer cares about proper syntax.

Turn off show all music; extra songs appear in iPhone library; unable to delete

I turn ON 'show all music', then download a couple more songs I want from iCloud to expand my iPhone5 library. Then I turn 'show all music' back OFF and a myriad of other songs appear in my library that I did not want downloded to my phone (nor did I select from the cloud) and I am unable to delete them from the library...
This sounds like a glitch with the iOS 7.0.4 as I am unable to find a similar solution in the community other than "delete all your music and start over..." which is not the route I'd like to take. If there are other remedies out there, please help! Apple, if you're listening, please fix! I have over 750 songs in the cloud!

Items with the Cloud icon are not on your phone. They are items that have been purchased previously but have since been deleted. You can download them again by tapping the Cloud icon.

When I go to my safari settings I cannot turn off my "Block Pop-ups for a site. It is stuck in the on position.

I have certain websites that use popups that I need to be able to use. When I go to Safari settings I cannot turn of the "block pop ups" setting. It is grayed out and only in the on postion.

You will need to have the hold switch replaced.

Meme avec le NI-Visa, je tombe sur la meme fenetre. je n'y arrive pa avec cette version de MAX (4.7.7.f0).

Je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir bien tout compris. Vous vouez réaliser la fonction sous Labview qui permet d'envoyer les commandes via le port RS232, des fonctions que vous avez testez via NI VISA?
Le code ne va pas se faire automatiquement. NI VISA vous permet de vérifier que vous communiquer bien avec l'appareil, et de récupérer la réponse a une commande spécifique. Une fois que cela est assuré, vous pouvez coder lesdites commandes. Je n'ai pas Labview d'ouvert actuellement, mais de mémoire ca doit être dans la même palette que pour les commande GPIB,...

Is there a way to turn off showing the time in each Calendar entry in "week" view?

I use the "week" view as my primary calendar. Upon updating to Mavericks, the calendar forces the starting time to be shown with each entry. This forces me to make my entries at least 1.5 hours long to show even two short lines of text. I frequently want to show two or three lines of text, for example when menu planning. Also, I consider this "feature" to be just chart junk--the starting time is already shown by the position on the calendar.

I agree, clearing an entire line to show the event's starting time—when this should be apparent from the event block's position in the calendar—is a critical waste of space.

I do not believe that the setting has anything to do with your code not executing properly. That particular browser setting should not impact whether a URL is accessible or not.
That having been said, you would need to write to the user's registry. You could only accomplish this if the user either browsed to a page with an applet or downloaded a standalone Java application to change the settings. As the latter option is not a good one, you are stuck with an applet. You would need to override the Sandbox security restrictions by signing your applet's CAB.
