Just turned on my ipad 2 wi-fi , black screen lights up to lighter black but I cant see a thing on it... does anyone have any ideas on what's wrong with it?
Try this First... No Data will be Lost...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

I've had an ipad since late December 2010.
In the past, it has always automatically synced when I connect it to my macbook pro.
Now, when i connect it...nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?The first thing to do is to launch iTunes on your Mac. Go to Preferences - under the iTunes heading in the menu at the top. Click on Devices. Make sure that you uncheck the box next to - Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. Quit iTunes and restart your Mac.
Connect your iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes. Select your iPad under the Devices heading on the left side of iTunes. Then click on the Summary Tab at the top right side of the iTunes window. Put a checkmark (select) in the box next to - Open iTunes when this iPad is Connected. Make sure that all of the other boxes are checked as you desire according to what you want to sync. Click - Apply - in the lower right corner to sync.
Disconnect your iPad after syncing. Quit iTunes. Then connect your iPad again and iTunes should launch and sync automatically. -
After doing the IOS 7.1.1 update on my iPad 4 the screen just shows the iTunes icon and a cable with an arrow. I can't get the device to open. Can someone help me with this issue? Thanks!!
Yes. The phone will be back to default settings.
Once the phone is up and running you can try and restore your backup again.

If it's showing the connect to iTunes screen then it sounds like it's gone into recovery mode and will need to be connected to a computer's iTunes in order to be reset. Does neither she nor you have a computer, and if she hasn't has she been backing up to the cloud instead ?
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether content is still in the store, she might be able to re-download some/all of her downloads via the Purchased tabs in the App Store and iTunes store apps -

If the media is still located on your computer, I would create a version specifically for the iPad. To create and iPad version in iTunes 11 select the media that you are wanting to convert. From there, select the File menu > Create New Version > Create iPad or Apple TV version. Once the media has been converted, sync the iPad version to the iPad.

When keynote asked me to allow it to access my photos I accidentally said no. How can I now get it to access my photos?
See if this works. Settings>Privacy>Photos>Keynote>On.
And if that doesnt do it - also check Settings>General>Restrictions>privacy>Photos -
Im trying to use my apple TV to see a movie from my iphone. Since i select the airplay icon on my phone, i can only hear the voice of the movie on my screen but i cant see the movie, can anybody help me pls? Tks

Can anyone tell me how to fix my iPod.I was updating it and I turned it off in the middle of the update. I tried to put it through a recovery on the iTunes but it keeps giving me 3194.When I turn it on it will go to a light blue screen.

My iPod touch screen just turned a white-ish green color and I can't turn it on or off. I'm starting a business and I will be running scrolling advertisements of local businesses on iPads. Can somehow tell me how to do this? I haven't purchased the iPads yet but I will need to run the ads simultaneously on between 8 and 30 iPads.
You can paste images in all the common formats (PDF JPEG GIF PNG etc.) straight onto Keynote slides. Presumably one slide per image. However, you will want to impose size restrictions on the images you get sent: a certain number of pixels high and wide. Otherwise you will have to shrink them to fit them onto the iPad screen, and your customers may complain that small details (small print ?) can't be seen.
To start off, expect to create your presentations manually until you are familiar with how Keynote works, and have decided how to set the whole thing up. Once you have figured out a workflow, and learned how to cope with anything unusual your customers send you it will probably be possible to have Automator on a Macintosh look at incoming files and create a Keynote presentation for you.
From what you write I suppose you either need to be willing to learn a lot about iPads in a short time, or to hire someone who is. -
