Turning alerts off in PS CS5

Hello,
Can anyone tell me the correct command to turn all alerts off in a PS CS5 jsx. I've tried the following which doesn't seem to work:
app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.NEVER_INTERACT;
I've had issues with this in the past with Illustrator and know that the command has changed a bit from version to version. I've tried various options that worked in Illustrator in the past but no luck.
I think this was CS3
app.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.neverInteract;
and this was pre-CS3
app.userInteractionLevel=UserInteractionLevel.DONTDISPLAYALERTS;

I've tried that and it doesn't give an error but it doesn't switch off the dialogs
bye the way.... the dialog I want to switch off is the one to save a file before closing. Maybe this is not possible in PS?

I think (and I'll double check) only the BBLink events will sync on a wired USB sync. I'm fairly certain of that.
You'll need to use your calendar syncing via an EAS email account (outlook.com, for instance, is free) to sync wirelessly. It works great. I use it and was a former tied to the USB sync guy as well... and I thought I was gonna die a painful death without it. I found more freedom this way.
This explains the process. But I don't think you'll get BBM Groups to sync.

Manager-Assistant setup visual/audio alert turn on/off for manager

Hi Expert,
I would need some help if any of you has bumped into this before or has any idea:
I have a Manager-Assistant setup (CUCM 8.6):
- shared line solution
- 2 managers with 1 assistant
Call comes in to manager main number: it rings on assistant phone and have visual info on manager phone.
In case assistant is away from the desk, so can not take calls
Is it possible to turn audio alerting also on for the manager phone (by assistant)?
and when assistant is back turn this off again, so only visual info will be seen on manager phone.

Hi,
Have you tried making your assistant go offline first on the assistant application and see if the call rings thru to the manager then?
Also on the managers application you can set an Audio Alert on or of in Proxy-Line mode.

As a joke, a work colleague has made my MacBook Air say a personalised message every minute (using the System voice).

Most likely this is an AppleScript or Automator item that is listed in System Preferences > Users and Groups > Your account > Login items
This list can have things put in it by the system such and the iTunes Helper app.
Other than that you can add Apps you want to start up when the computer does or links to specific servers can be set up here.
TO do this you log on the the sever (other Mac or computer) in the normal way with the Name and password dialogue box.
Then you can Drag the icon for th Drive/Computer to the List and it will be added.
It will access that Computer's drive at start up without the need to re-do the Name and Password access info.
AppleScripts and Automator items can be saved as self contained items that then don't launch the app but run themselves.
They may or may not appear in the DOCK.
There may be other ways to achieve this but this is how I would do it.

kymberlaine, I understand your frustration with this feature and I would check the voice command feature on your phone. Please let us know if this resolves your issue.
1. From standby mode, press[MENU].
2. Press Settings & Tools.
3. Press Tools.
4. Press Voice Commands.
Note: The Voice Commands feature has several settings which allow you to customize how you want to use it. Access Voice Commands, then press the Right Soft Key [Settings]. You will have fiver choices, you will need to choose the "Prompts" menus option to change.
1) Confirm Choices: Automatic/Always Confirm/ Never Confirm
2) Sensitivity; Adjust the sensitivity as More Sensitive / Automatic/ Less Sensitive.
3) Adapt Voice; If the phone asks you to repeat your voice command too often, train the phone to recognize your voice patterns. -Choose from Words/ Train Digits
4)Prompts Mode: Prompts / Readout + Alerts/ Readout / Tones Only Audio Playback: Speaker phone /Earpiece Timeout: 5 seconds / 10 seconds

Here is what I got out of after reading those two sites:
I should turn it off for it's always ON (when CUDA MPE is used) regardless I check or uncheck it.Turning it ON only offloads the calculation to CPU (instead of GPU) hence slowing down the previewing and encoding performance.
So I guess I should have Maximum Render Quality setting turned OFF in both of squence settings and export settings.
However, David Knarr of Studio 1 Productions suggest otherwise:

3) Then select Sequence Settings
4) At the bottom of the window select Maximum Render Quality and click Okay

Okay, I am loosing it..... You are correct.
I am not sure what I was remembering, I could have sworn that when I loaded Premiere CS5 for the first time before I unlocked the video card, the Maximum Render Quality mode was NOT checked. Then when I unlocked the video card, the Maximum Render Quality mode was check to ON and I didn't set it to be On.
I just when back and uninstalled Premiere and re-installed it, to see what was going on and I was totally wrong.
Sorry for the mistake and I will be updating the article on my website in the next 15 min.
Also, I have written a small program to do the unlock automatically. The program is free and it works with the cards listed under the Automatic Mode.
If your video card isn't listen, just let me know what your card is and what you typed into the cuda cards file and I will add it to the program.

I need some help, somebody has turned the restrictions on on my daughters iPad mini and we don't know the pass code to turn it off. She has lost the iTunes icon because of this. Anybody know what to do? Thanks

Help, somebody has turned the restrictions on on my daughters iPad mini and we don't know the pass code to turn it off. She can't use iTunes because of them being turned on. I have tried backing it up to a laptop and then restoring it to factory settings but you need the pass code to do this....any ideas how I can turn it off or reset it, anything that might help its driving me potty...

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

I had the same problem and I found this answer to a similar question to ours, so I copied and pasted it for you
Reset the device by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. After it resets the message will be gone and you can go to settings > icloud and put in your password.
That seems to be a bug with the password alert where it won't respond correctly sometimes.

Sounds like some strange shortcut key conflict.
The first thing to try is Deleting Corrupted Cache in DW. Be sure hidden files & folders are enabled in Windows Explorer.

If your iPhone is muted using the Ring/Silent switch on the side of your iPhone and you're still hearing the shutter sound, this function may be disabled.
Adjust the volume of the shutter sound with the Ringer and Alerts settings in Settings > Sounds. Or mute the sound using the Ring/Silent switch. (In some countries, muting is disabled.)

Everytime I get a text messages the light next to my camera flashes, is there some way I can turn this off?

It just started flashing the other day and I didnt turn anything on for it to flash. It like the little flash light bit next to the camera on the back.

My CS6 Indesign has no tool bars. It never did. Tried following the directions to "turn freehand off," but, I can't find "Freehand" on my MAC.

I'm trying to use Indesign CS6 for the first time. There are no toolbars!! Nothing seems to work: I can't find them anywhere, nor can I find "Freehand" to turn it off/on. Pleae note, I never turned it off or on, and my toolbars are displayed in all my other programs. Any ideas? Thank you!

I have a menu bar, but pressing the "tab" key does nothing, nor does pressing the Shift + W. Please note that I have a MAC computer. By the way, I just installed my cs5 version of Indesign- thinking I could use it, instead of CS6. Everything works in that version, except that the version is in French!!! I'm stymied. Would prefer using CS6, if the issue can be resolved.
