I have no previous knowledge of Screen programming & Module-pool programming.
Please provide me good tutorials on those so that I can master those in a couple of days as I need to use those in my current assignment.

Is it possible to print the current screen in Module pool program(Dynpro)?
I create a Module pool program , and customer hope can print the screen when they click print button, Is it possible?

Does the customer want a screen shot or what? Please elaborate on your requirement.
Maybe you should create a smartform first, which is called when one clicks on print button. But in fact, we need a bit more info than this.

Debugging of module pool is same as reports, use /h or put breakpoint
but u shud know what u want to check
there are generally two event used in module pool
PBO
This event is used before displaying the screen,It is used to clear fields table, show table control, tabstrip and most important conditionally modify the scrren .
PAI
is used to validate the fields which are entered on the screen with database values and then fetch records from table.
i mean all values to make available in internal table
now u would be sure which part u want to debug.

Selection- screen in module pool

hi all,
how to create selection screen in module pool programing,
in screen attributes of module pool, 4 screens are present, but selection screen radio button has been disabled.
how to work by using selection screen radio button.

HI Suprith,
You ll find a LAYOUT button on the application tool bar just click that button sceen painter sceen will be opend there you have to design your selection screen. Letf side of the sceen painter you see the options use the options as per your requiment and activate . If you are using module pool program go to SE93 create the t-code and give the program name and the screen name which you have created in se51.

Calculator for addition using module pool

Hai all,
   I going to create a calculator for addition using module pool .
   i have set a screen 9001 and i placed a box and inside that i
placed 9 push buttons with the naming of 1,2,...9 as same as the normal calulator
then i have a "PLUS" push button which is used to add the 2 numbers and i have a "SUM" push button in 9001.
when i click the SUM push button it will call screen 9002 which have the input box for the result purpose.
can i do this or not??
i know it is little complicated but i need ur help..and also tell me can push button hold value or not??

Hi,
Screens are the most general type of user dialog that you can use in ABAP programs. You do not define them in ABAP programs, but instead in the Screen Painter. A screen consists of the input/output mask and the flow logic. You can define screens for any program with type 1, M, or F.
The screens in a single ABAP program can be combined to form screen sequences. You can call single screens or screen sequences either using a transaction code from outside the ABAP program, or by using the CALL SCREEN statement in the corresponding ABAP program. When you call a screen or screen sequence, the screen flow logic takes control of the ABAP program execution. You can define screen sequences dynamically by setting the next screen attribute for a screen dynamically in the ABAP program.
A screen consists of the input/output mask and the flow logic. The screen flow logic is divided into the Process Before Output (PBO) event, which is processed before the screen is displayed, and the Process After Input (PAI) event, which is processed after a user action on the screen.
The following diagram shows the place of screens between the GUI status and the ABAP program:
The screen flow logic calls dialog modules in the ABAP program, either to prepare the screen for display (PBO event) or to process the user's entries (PAI event). Screens are dynamic programs, and have their own data objects, called screen fields. These are linked to the input/output fields that appear on the screen itself. When the screen is displayed, and when it finishes processing, the system passes data between the screen fields and data objects in the ABAP program. Data is copied between identically-named fields.
Each screen has a GUI status, containing a menu bar, standard toolbar, and an application toolbar. Like screens, GUI statuses are independent components of the ABAP program. You create them in the ABAP Workbench using the Menu Painter. You assign GUI statuses to screens dynamically in your ABAP programs. Each screen is linked to the current GUI status by a special screen field into which the corresponding function code is placed whenever the user chooses a function. The screen passes the function code to the ABAP program just like any other screen field. You can then read it in the program.
Screen Attributes
Like all objects in the R/3 Repository, screens have attributes that both describe them and determine how they behave at runtime. Important screen attributes for ABAP programming:
Program
The name of the ABAP program (type 1, M, or F) to which the screen belongs.
Screen number
A four-digit number, unique within the ABAP program, that identifies the screen within the program. If your program contains selection screens, remember that selection screens and Screen Painter screens use the same namespace. For example, if you have a program with a standard selection screen, you may not contain any further screens with the number 1000. Lists, on the other hand, have their own namespace.
Screen type
A normal screen occupies a whole GUI window. Modal dialog boxes only cover a part of a GUI window. Their interface elements are also arranged differently. Selection screens are generated automatically from the definition in the ABAP program. You may not define them using the Screen Painter. A subscreen is a screen that you can display in a subscreen area on a different screen in the same ABAP program.
Next screen
Statically-defined screen number, specifying the next screen in the sequence. If you enter zero or leave the field blank, you define the current screen as the last in the chain. If the next screen is the same as the current screen, the screen will keep on calling itself. You can override the statically-defined next screen in the ABAP program.
Cursor position
Static definition of the screen element on which the cursor is positioned when the screen is displayed. By default, the cursor appears on the first input field. You can overwrite the static cursor position dynamically in your ABAP program.
Screen group
Four-character ID, placed in the system field SY-DYNGR while the screen is being processed. This allows you to assign several screens to a common screen group. You can use this, for example, to modify all of the screens in the group in a uniform way. Screen groups are stored in table TFAWT.
Hold data
If the user calls the screen more than once during a terminal session, he or she can retain changed data as default values by choosing System ® User profile ® Hold data.

How to remove the print popup screen from module pool program

Hi,
In my project i am having one module pool program in which 7-8 screens are there.
In the initial screen after entering the equipment number when i am executing the program then after loading second screen
it is showing one screen is coming which is asking to print the content of the page.
I want to remove this screen (printing popup) but i am not able to get the code or setting for it.
Please help me to solve this problem.

Checking Records in multiple screens using module pool programming

    I created student registration form using module pool programming.In first SCREEN i designed like the Below.
          Name:     <INPUT/OUTPUT Field>
         Emailid:    <INPUT/OUTPUT Field>
         Password:<INPUT/OUTPUT Field>
          CREATE<Push Button>    SIGNIN<Push Button>       cancel<Push Button>
in screen 1000 I created like the above screen and i wrote the code for it.It's successfully inserted records in ZSTUDENT database.
BUT
    when i call the second screen 2000.I design the screen like below.And database table is ZSTU_LOGIN.
      username : <INPUT/OUTPUT Field>
     password : <INPUT/OUTPUT Field>
         LOGIN<push Button>   EXIT<Push Button>
AND i created Third screen 3000.Like full of detail of student details like First Name,Last Name,DOB,Education Details,Contact Details etc...
BUT I'm facing the pbm is
              whatever the record is stored in table ZSTUDENT-Name & password when i call the screen 2000 that USERNAME & PASSWORD are same
Then go to THIRD screen 3000.BUT i wrote the code for second screen 2000 by using SELECT statement.without my code check it will go to third
screen 3000 By the Statement of Call screen 3000.
PLZ any one help me HOW to CHECK the Exact Record From second Screen 2000 to First Screen 1000.
HOW to Check the code AND can u provide me any code available.

I have developed a module pool program with screens and flow logic. I want to make that application web based. Is there any option to make it web based or I have to write the fresh application in bsp. Please suggest

You unfortuantely need to re-write that application as BSP. If you separated your business logic from the screen logic, then all you will need to do is rewrite the screen logic and not the whole application.

How to get the cursor position from screen in module pool program

Hi,
I am doing the module pool program, I have one table control in one screen.
I have to give functionality to the user that when the user enters first record in the table control and after filling the last field
when he presses enter the cursor will have to come in the starting field of the second record.
I know the logic , but i m bit confused.

Selection screen in module pool programming..

hi,
I designed some screen elements for KUNNR and MATNR and handled their value selection thru POV request.
I want to select data from my table using these values. Will a simple select statement with AND condition on these values work ? I doubt as even if the user does not enter value for one of these, my select is giong to fail. for e.g. he enters value for KUNNR but not for MATNR.
If that is so then shud i need to design a screen which must display select options like for KUNNR, MATNR etc ? if yes then the value that is displayed there when user selects F4 must be controlled by me. how to design this in module pool ?? where to write statements related to selection screen definition and how to handle its selection ?
