TV@nywhere serial number

just re-installing my computer and couldnt put my hand to the tv@nywhere discs + book. d/l the software, drivers and manual from msi website, but i need a serial number to install the msipvs software.
now i have found the book and discs, but there doesnt appear to be a serial number anywhere. does anybody know where the serial number is located? is it on the side of the packaging box?
any help is appreciated.

the serial number for MSIPVS is printed on the CD. i presume you haven't read through the stickies as its mentioned there too

I have the hardware but no longer have the CD. It is asking me for s/n, anyone know where to find this? Is it on the hardware anywhere? Or was it on the CD? I am installing the software on an XP system, no problems yet. But I only have the driver installed.

The serial number for the MSI PVS software is 7G9KCILRUFBCP7B
It is probably a different number for the InterVideo software, but this is the same serial no printed on every MSI cd.

Serial Number during install of PVR software??? :censored:???

So I'm following the instructions of the TV@nywhere install for the PVR software and I've hit a prompt what wants the "product serial number"... no xxx-xx-xxxx-xx format or anything to suggest what it might be, just a text fiels waiting for me to put in some serial number that the manual doesn't mention. So, where might I g\find this number??? There was a number on the packaging with the remote that didn't work, a number on the bottom of the MSI PVS cd case that did'nt work, and I even tore the case back off of my computer and crawled around with the flashlight and have tried numbers that are on the card... nadda... ? This is maddening to say the least... I've spent well over thirty minutes tearing things apart and popping in numbers and still get the "incorrect number" promot... Rrrrrrrr!!!!

Yes, I did *eventually* look at the CD and found it. This is a terrible design/install decision. There should be some documentation telling the end user where this can be found, and putting it on the CD and then asking you for that number off of the CD itself midway though install is a terrible idea in these "autorun" days. I haven't seen that since the early 90's. At any rate, I finally found it and got it installed AFTER canceling the install, ejecting the CD, writing down the number, and starting the install process all over again...

How are you supposed to get help from Apple if you don't know what your serial number is? They say to input the serial number of the "product" that you are asking about. Since my problem is how to deauthorize/authorize computers, and they are saying I have more than 5 (which I have never owned more than 5 computers in my life), I can't imagine what serial number they mean. Does it mean your desktop computer? If so, which one? Do they mean your device? LIke your iPhone, iPod or whatever? Do they mean the software ON one of your computers and/or devices? If so, which program, and on which computer/device?
We have three operational computers, one does not have iTunes on it. Since Apple is saying I have more than 5 authorized computers, and I can't imagine what they are, I am afraid to deauthorize all my computers. See what I mean? I just wanted to ask the question about how I can find out WHICH computers Apple thinks I have authorized, so I can decide if it's safe to deauthorize them all or not. I only know of 2 computers that have iTunes on them, so how can there be 5? We also have 2 iPhones and 2 iPods in this family, but one of the iPhones has his own apple id. He may have been using mine, since his computer died. I read that those don't count as "computers" to the 5. Do they, then?
Help! I can't contact apple because I have no idea what they mean about serial number. I doubt they would help me anyway. In order to get the serial number off my desktop computer (that has iTunes on it already), I will have to move furniture, so I don't want to if that's not it. You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

I have design standard and was told I can use the same serial number on multiple computers. How many time can I use it? And say I install it on the maximum number of computers, but get a new computer, can I uninstall it on one of the old computers and use it on the new one? And can I use the programs on both computers simultaneously or do I have to use them one at a time?

Sorry Fred you are wrong.
If you have a single license you can install it on as many computers as you like. you can only activate the suite on two computers at anyone time. Work and Home or as many of us do it Desktop and Laptop. You can not use the computers simultaneously. You only have 20 activation/deactivations so use them wisely. Student versions only have one activation. You can not break up the suite installs the suite is considered one application.

How do I transfer an Acrobat serial number from one adobe account to another?

I've installed Adobe DC Pro on one of our user's computers. When it asked for an Adobe ID I entered the ID I used to purchase the serial number. Unfortunately now acrobat always starts on the new computer and displays my name instead of the end user name. So I'm wondering how to either transfer the serial number to the end user's adobe account, or alternatively re-associate the acrobat on the end user machine with the end user's own adobe account.

I'm thinking about buying a 2nd Mac, but I'm just curious how many total computers you have authorize Logic studio on at one time (my guess would be 3 but I hope more).

I don't know for the others but in my retail package ((not upgrade) I found two serial numbers. Though I haven't got time yet to try the second serial number on my MacBook, my logic says that with two different serials I could run both macs simultaneously and be on the network. But, my logic fails so often so it's better to shut my mouth, install Logic on MacBook and come back here again.

You need to contact Adobe Support when you have serial number and activation issues, either by chat or via phone.

Unable to update the serial number through bdc in Sales Order

Hi experts,
I written the inboud FM for to update the 3rd party items serial number to the sales orders through BDC Call transaction Method.
Here i am facing a problem when i have the 19 item Quan ,it is updating correct through idoc , when ever there is moe than 19 and at that if any serial number repeated for that if i am changing at that time it is loosing the control of the BDC and giving the control to the salesorder screen.
how can i handle that control again has to come to BDC prgrm......

Goods receipt MB01 with serial number problem

Dear MM Experts,
Iam a PM Consultant and this problem faced me while doing goods receipt from external maintenance order so i will appreciate any help regarding this issue,
In serial number profiles i did the stock check indicator to give an error message if there were incosistinces in stock data,
now this is the scenario:
after doing an external maintenance order and creating a PO with reference to the maintenance order PR, and also entering the specified serial number in the PO:
1) Goods Issuing: i used MB1B with movement type 541 and as the serial number already exist and not wrong so it didnt show any error messages and by checking the stock data in MMBE the material was in stock provided to vendor.
2) Goods Receipt: when using MB01 with movement type 101 and when entering the serial number of the material it gives an error message ALTHOUGH it is the same serial number issued and the same serial number in the PO
This is the error message :
Stock data of serial number G081 not suitable for movement
Message no. IO231
Diagnosis
The current stock information for the serial number G081 contradicts the stock information of the movement to be posted. The following stock information is valid for the document and the serial number: Batch Number Stock data Serial data C2
Only the first different field for the stock data/serial data is assigned. However, further data may also be inconsistent. To determine whether this is the case, you can start an analysis.
System Response
Two system responses are possible (set using Customizing): If the case of an error occurring, the assignment of the serial number to this posting procedure is not possible. In the case of a warning, you can, if necessary, transfer the notification.
Procedure
Assign a serial number which corresponds in your stock information to the stock data of the posting. You can display the serial numbers which can be used using Select serial numbers.

Hello,
A possibility to fix serial number status is by running the report RISTEQ07 in SE38 transaction. Please run this report as mentioned in the SAP Note 316868 (point 2).
While running the report please consider following points:
The report does not set any locks on the records to be corrected, in other words, the report should only then be executed in the correction mode if the master records (within the client) are not being used in another (changing) access.
During the search for inconsistent serial numbers, the system assumes that the stock segment is correct and the existence indicator might be incorrect.
In the correction mode, the existence indicator is adjusted (depending on the existence of the stock segment).
The report provides a test option (LP_TEST); if this option is active, the system only checks whether inconsistencies exist. Corrections are only carried out if the test mode is deactivated. Option LP_EXTD for the enhanced check should remain deactivated for the first run. In particular, if no inconsistency is recognized, the run should be repeated with the activated option.
Another possibility is to create/post a physical inventory document for the affected material and serial number.
Determine which material serial number is really on stock (physically on stock). You can do this, by either analyzing the history of each Serial Number or by carrying out a physical inventory.
Before posting the Physical Inventory the stock validation of the serial number profile of the material has to be switched off in OIS2 transaction (if it is switched on).
When you do this, you will get a Pop-up, please read the long text and execute the report RISERNR9 which is mentioned there.
After executing this report the inventory can be posted. When this is done please switch stock validation on again and execute report RISERNR9 again.
Perform this inconsistency correction only when you are sure that no one else is working on the system otherwise it could lead to more inconsistencies while the stock validation is switched off. Check SAP Note 612132 for further details.
In another words, you have to:
Create a physical inventory in MI01 transaction;
Enter a counted quantity in MI04 transaction;
Define each serial number to each qty on stock.
