TVAP not working Receive Error when trying to reinstall

Hello,
I am reaching out for help with getting my flashcards back up and running again. I have a toshiba Satellite C655D-S5300.
Here is the problem:
When I press the fn key on my keyboard the flash cards should appear on my screen. However recently they no longer appear when I press the fn key. I have tried to uninstall TVAP, was unable to find it in the add remove programs list so resorted to a 3rd party application to remove it.
However now whenever I try to reinstal TVAP I recieve an error saying Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid. C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\temp\tc00290100v.temp\TVAP\1033.mst
I have gone to this location using windows explorer and the file exists. Any help would most greatly appreciated.

Things like this sometimes happen when we apply third-party tools.
This one is a subtle registry glitch that you probably can't fix unless you're a computer nerd.
The best I can do is refer you to an example. Scroll down to the Weather_Man's message.
There's another example here.
The fact that you find 1033.mst at the specified location can be misleading. Just one character (in either path) whose actual bit configuration differs from the visible character can produce this.

However, I am the account owner and I know exactly what is going on with my account at all times. I check data usage AT LEAST 2 times daily and I log into my account at least once daily. Error when trying to reinstall MBAM with SCCM

We have SCCM 2012 R2 installed and I installed MBAM 2.0 SP1 with all the components on the same server. Well that was a mistake as the website for MBAM took over and SCCM communication with all the clients was broken. So I found a TechNet article
that said I should only install the SCCM Integration Feature of MBAM and then install the other components on another VM. I then proceeded to uninstall all the MBAM components and SCCM started working properly again. I then went to reinstall just
the SCCM integration feature of MBAM and I got the error that SCCM Objects already installed. The resolution says "One or more components of the MBAM System Center Configuration Manager Objects have
already been installed. If the objects were previously installed then they were intentionally not removed. Please refer to the System Center Configuration Manager documentation on how to properly remove the installed MBAM System Center Configuration

I went to that link and did the removal steps and I still get the error when trying to reinstall it. Why am I still getting the error message?

P800 "Not Enough Memory" error when trying to use Contacts

Now even after I reset my P800 from iSync I get this 'Not enough memory' error when I try to use my contact list.
This is getting really frustrating! I want to downgrade...

I suspect it's the feed as I've just tried it and the latest episode fails. Try contacting the Podcast's producer/publisher to let them know, since they may not. From your linked page, click on their name and follow that to their website, where you should find contact details.
By the way, even if the problem is with iTunes, it's still down to the producer/publisher to rectify it, which is why I suggest you contact them

"The file is damaged and could not be repaired" error when trying to open a PDF in Reader

A few of our employess (only 3 out of over 100 so far) have been getting the error, "The file is damaged and could not be repaired" when trying to open some PDFs. Other people are able to open the same PDF files with no error. It's happening on about 10% of the time. I've read a bunch of threads here with this isue and tried some suggested fixes and nothing has resolved the issue. Here is what I have found works and does not work and the info on their computers:
Computers:
1 Dell Vostro desktop running WIndows 7
1 Toshiba Satellite C55 runnign Windows 8
1 Samsung ATIV Book 4 running Windows 8
All using Adobe Reader XI but we did uninstall that version and tried previous versions and still got the error.
Did Not Work:
As suggested by the company that we use online for claims adjustments where this error is occuring, we tried using a different PDF creator since the files were created using a free PDF creator by the employees. PDF995 and PDFcreator (pdfforge) did not resolve the issue. I then created the PDFs with my Adobe Acrobat, uploaded from my computer to the online program, and that did not resolve the issue.
Saving the file to hard drive and then opening in Adobe did not work.
Turning off Protected Mode and Enhanced Security did not work.
Compatibility View settings enabled in Internet Explorer 10 did not resolve the issue. The previously mentioned claims adjustment software company we use online was code for IE so is not fully compatible with other browsers.
That being said I did try to open the PDF files in Chrome and it also did not work. Same error message.
Does work:
I download the file they cannot open onto my hard drive, open in Adobe Acrobat, Save as a pdf, then email it to them and they can open it via email attachment.
If they close the error and continue trying to open the file over and over sometimes it will eventually open.
Is there a setting in Windows that is preventing them from opening a small % of files some of the time? Thanks in advance for any help!

The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

Disk utility reports "Device could not be opened" - error when trying to format a new drive in a Mac Pro 1,1

I have encountered the following behavior when trying to format a new drive with disk utility. This description has also been send via the Mac Pro feedback as a bug report to Apple.
On searching the web and forums with this particular error message and behaviour I could not find any usful results. So maybe the following description may be helpful for some users.
Best regards.
1. Drive Bay 1 contains the original 250 GB Startupdisk. It works without errors.
2. Drive Bays 3 and 4 contain each a WD Caviar Black 2 TB SATA 3 HDD. They work without errors.
3. I have purchased a third WD Caviar Black 2 TB HDD.
4. In Drive Bay 2 there has been a Seagate 750 GB HDD, which worked in conjunction with all the other drives without error.
5. I exchanged the Seagate HDD in Drive Bay 2 with the new WD Caviar Black 2 TB HDD.
6. On starting the system, it will report to initialize the new drive.
7. On trying to initialize the new drive with disk utility it reports the error [translated from German] "Erasing of the volume has failed. The device could not be opened."
8. I thought that the drive is faulty. Thus I created an RMA-Case at WD. They exchanged the drive without problems.
9. On getting the exchanged WD Caviar Black 2 TB drive I put it in Drive Bay 2 as before.
10. On trying to erase and format the exchange drive I got the same error message "Drive could not be opened."
10.1 On selecting the physical drive in the devices list, disk utility reports all information in the bottom area of its window as usual, e. g. hard disk description, connection bus, type and place, capacity, write status, SMART-status, partition scheme.
10.1 On leaving that drive selected in the devices list and clicking the info-button, disk utility will also report additional information as usual, e. g. Name, Type, partition scheme, media-identification, media name, media type, device tree, … , number of relocated sectors, etc.. All this information appears to be valid, as can be compared to the other devices information inside the other Drive Bays. Also the disk numbering scheme appears to be standard - 4 HDDs give the numbering disk0, disk1, disk2, disk3.
10.2 From that information I conclude that the SATA-bus and connectors electrically work properly, the drive has spun up and can be accessed by the system normally.
11. I powered down the computer, took out the HDDs from Drive Bays 3 and 4 and put the caddy with the new exchange drive in Drive Bay 4 [Maybe, I could have also just left it alone in Drive Bay 2, or 3].
12. After powering on the system, disk utility will quick format the exchange drive without any error message. Also, when erasing again by selecting the option to write zeros to the drive, disk utility will finish without error.
13. After disk utility finished formatting, I put back the original drives into Drive Bay 3 and 4 and put the now newly formatted drive back into Drive Bay 2.
14. After switching on the computer the system start and login proceeds without any error message. All drives appear as expected on the desktop.

Color picker does not work, " program error when I click, photoshop cc

I am user of photoshiop cc and it worked fine until several days ago but suddenly it shows " program error " when I click color picker, and I can not use changing color. Please help me to resolve this issue.

There was a bug with photoshop CC concerning the color picker and its swatches. Make sure you have the latest version and then if it still exists, reset your tools in the upper left hand corner which would be the very first icon in the top tool bar. That should fix it. If not let us know and maybe someone can think of something else.

Keep receiving error when trying to use a new Apple ID

"Please sign in again. For added security, we need to reconfirm your Apple ID."
I am beyond frustrated and have been working on this for about 2 hours. I don't understand how something so simple is becoming such a nusance. I created a new Apple ID however when trying to log into support, it gives me the phrase listed above. No matter how many times I try to log in, it completely shuts me out. If I use my old ID to log into the Apple ID site and then navigate to support, it logins me in no question.
I have looked at others who have had this issue and it appears to be an email conflict on multiple accounts. However both account use completely different email addresses. Any help is appreciated.
If I could just delete the conflicting account that would alleviate a lot of stress.

Receiving error when trying to combine using Outlook 2013

When using the combine function, dragging and dropping emails from outlook 2013 is not working properly. It allows you to drag and then drop them but the combine is unsuccessful. Has anyone else experienced this issue and know how ot fix it?

1.       She had Acrobat X and when that did not work, I installed Acrobat XI to test. So I can rollback to X but that was not working.

User receives error when trying to access queues in SCSM 2012. Also cannot edit activities.

I am trying to resolve an issue that a user has been struggling with in SCSM 2012 multiple times now. Everytime he tries to access a queue in the work items this error appears about 5 times:

After closing out all of the errors, the tasks panel no longer has any options.
Also, when this user opens an activity, there is a red box outlining the form. He is unable to click 'OK' or 'Apply' even though the activity is In Progress. This means he is unable to make any changes to activity forms. I logged on to the user's compluter
myself to see if this issue would just apply to him and I ended up with the same issues. This user experienced these issues before and switched to a new device where he no longer experienced these problems for a while. Now the issues have returned and I do
not know how to help him. We have not had this problem come up before.
Please help me understand what is causing these problems.

Thanks for getting back to me so quick!
You were correct to assume that I was referring to a View. All of our users have been added to a standard user role that providers that basic functionalities that they need. This particular user's access is exactly the same as the other users in his department,
yet he is the only one who has experienced this problem. All of the user roles that we have added this user to contain at least 10 other users who have not reported any issue like this.
I am wodering how this problem could only apply to this one user even after changing devices. I should also mention that with each of the devices that this user has worked on, there was a period of time when he was able to work in SCSM without
any issues. What could have changed that caused this error to arrise on two separate occasions for just one user?
The biggest issue is the fact that he is unable to edit activities. Am I correct to assume that these two issues are connected?
I hope this message helps to clarify the problem we are experiencing.

Receiving error when trying to install Oracle 8i Personal Edition

I'm trying to install 8i personal edition, and the installer is attempting to use this file as the stage file: D:\stage\products.jar. I can only assume its corrupt. Can anyone help me?

The error message I get on the install is, "INVALID STAGING AREA. NO TOP LEVEL COMPONENTS FOR WINDOWS 95 AVAILABLE FOR INSTALL." The install is using C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\INSTALL\STAGE\ PRODUCTS.JAR, which is where the UNZIP placed the components. The 8i Personal Edition I downloaded was for Windows 98, so I don't understand why it's looking for Windows 95 components. Also, I have Windows ME, not Windows 98, but I assume this download should work for Windows ME?

Receive error when trying to delete referenced masters

When I try to empty the Aperture Trash and move referenced masters to the system trash, I receive an error that reads, "You don’t have access to the System Trash on the master files’ volume"
The masters are stored on a photos share on my Windows Home Server. I have admin rights to everything. At least I thought I did.
I can manually delete the masters by going through Finder, but how do I fix this so I can delete referenced masters through Aperture?

Please check whether clearing the Contribute preferences helps you.
To Clear the preference, quit Contribute, and then delete the Contribute CS5 folder in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\ and also run the following command " reg delete "HKCU\Software\Adobe\Contribute 6 " /f " if you are using Contribute CS5. Reconnect to the site and try the same scenario.
Note that, if you clear the preferences then no connection will be listed in Contribute, you need to recreate the connections. It will be like a fresh installation.

You can try one thing. Set the class to be restricted and disable the approval for user (Self Enrollment Option) and see if the error is there.
Is there any personalization been done in the review page?
