  • Two Purchase Info Records for Same Material & Plant Combination

    Hi,
2 Purchase Info Records are there for Same Material & Plant for 2 Different Vendors & Net Price is maintained in both Info Records
    1. Material M1 - Plant 1000 - Vendor A - Net Price Rs.4
    2. Material M1 - Plant 2000 - Vendor B - Net Price Rs.3
    Vendor A is Regular Vendor
(Tick as Regular Vendor is his Purchase Info Record)
It is observed that Rs.3 is picked up for Costing Purposes
Requirement is that - Net Price within Pur. Info Record of Regular Vendor i.e Rs. 4 must be picked up always for Costing Puposes.
    Is this possible???
What Logic system uses while picking up the Price in case where there are 2 Pur. Info Records for same Material & Plant???
    Thanks & Regards...

  • How to calculate different tax rates for  same material in single invoice.

    Dear All,
If the excise rates are changed during the budget and the stock is lying with the client with the existing rate.
After effective date of new rates we receive the good with new rates. The new and the old rate stock is sent to a customer in single invoice. How can we configure such case. The excise should calculate by old rate to old stock and new stock should be calculated by new rate.
    Please guide in such case.
    Thanks in advance.
    deepti

    Hi Deepti
In copy control you will have to redeterfine taxes whilst billing.
If you want you change this and keep it as copy pricing. This won't change anything. Else use Copy prices and redetermine tax. You can find this setting in VTLA and VTFA in item category Pricing type.
You can't have both of then in the same invoice as procedure is decided for the whole invoice and not a single Item. You can rather have two different item category type. TAN and ZTAN you redetermine taxes for tan and copy them as it is for ZTAN.

There is something terribly wrong..Not necessarily. Just using the default stats collection I've seen a few cases of things suddenly going wrong. As the data increases, it gets closer to an edge case where the inadequacy of the statistics convinces the optimizer to do a wrong plan. To fix, I could just go into dbconsole, set the stats back to a time when they worked, and locked them. In most cases it's definitely better to figure out what is really going on, though, to give the optimizer better information to work with. Aside from the value of learning how to do it, for some cases it's not so simple. Also, many think the default settings of the database statistic collection may be wrong in general (in 10.2.x, at least). So much depends on your application and data that you can't make too many generalizations. You have to look at the evidence and figure it out. There is still a steep learning curve for the tools to look at the evidence. People are here to help with that.
Most of the time it works better than a dumb rule based optimizer, but at the cost of a few situations where people are smarter than computers. It's taken a lot of years to get to this point.

  • GATP/ATP Check for Different Order Types for same material

    Hi :
I have a material code X for which 2 different type of Sales Order (Say A and B )needs to be created.
For Sales Order Type A the atp check needs to be done in APO through GATP for material code X.
For Sales Order Type B the atp check needs to be done in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 through availabilty check functionality for same material code X.
It is not possible to create seperate material codes to carry out atp/gatp check seperately in R/3 and in APO.
In real time the atp and cumulative atp position should be same in R/3 and in APO.
Please let me know solution for this issue.

    Hi Ashish,
Can you share with us as to how you were able to solve this issue. I have a similar issue like yours and I am totally clueless as to what needs to be done..
    My scenario goes this way:
I have to modify the Schedule line dates for a GATP material according to a newly created date which I calculate based on the Route Schedule id (VL51, VL52) and display the same in the Sales Order schedule line items.
Also can I get a new set of schedule line dates from the APO system for a date which I calculate based on the Goods Issue date - VALW-AULWE in any exit using a FM or a BAPI?? so that I can get these dates and populate the same in the Sales Order Schedule line??
    Thanks in advance,

  • Different Tax rates from same country plant/ sales organization

    Hi Gurus,
Here is a scenario I have-
We have 2 plants in Japan, A & B, both are linked to Sales org A & B respectively, material X sold out of Sales Org/ Plant - A for a customer 100  needs to have tax rate of 8% and same material X sold out of Sales Org/ Plant - B for same customer 100 needs to be tax exempt. the problem in this scenario is that tax classification are maintained at country level which means that material tax classification cannot be set at plant/ sales org level, and tax classification for customer is same for both can anyone suggest how can we go about it?
    regards
    Anmol

    Gurus,
I sincerely would like to thank you for taking time out and answering this question, I need your help on one last matter, here's a scenario-
Japan's consumption tax rate has changed to 8% with effect from 1st April 2014 till 31st march the rate was 5%, in this case our system will have 2 condition records-
MWST condition type as 5% with end date as 03/31/2014.  This means if
the draft invoice is issued by 03/31/2014 then a 5% tax rate will be applied
and another tax rate of 8% will be applied with start dates 04/01/2014 to
12/31/9999 which includes draft invoices issued post 31st March.
    below is business scenario-
Work is finished on March 26th but the draft invoice is issued on April 10th, this draft invoice is
subject to a 5% rather than 8% tax rate.
Can you guys let us know how to achieve this, can we do this throug ha user exit
    regards

  • Two different tax rates in same tax code

    hi,
I have a client requirement as follows. A tax code is created for 12.5% cenvat. This tax code  is used by one company. Now the same tax code will be used by second company but in some of their transactions they want 5% cenvat and balance 7.5% to be transferred to inventory.
Can such a config be done with same tax code with condition types or something? PLZ help in this issue. FYI  the client does not wants a separate tax code to be created as volume of transactions with 5% tax rate is very less.

Unfortunately, same tax code can't be used with different rates. In your situation, it's inevitable to create another tax code.

I have a new company and it requires two separate email accounts. One of the accounts works just fine, the other doesn't. I've tried support info on the mozilla site, I've tried the imapconfig.exe file, and nothing works! One of the accounts is a customer service account that needs to work just as well as the personal account for the company works.

Could you check with the company if IMAP access (supposed you are using that) or POP3 access has been enabled for that specific mailbox?

  • How to Maintain two different prices for same material in different qty?

    Dear all,
How to maintain two different prices for same material in different batch quantities in purchase order(ie.,info record)?
(Vendor is supplying quantities in 2 different batches & also in different prices)
    Expecting valuable reply.
    Jeyakanthan

In a PO you can create 2 items, and each item can be maintained with a different price in the conditions.
In info record it is not possible to have different prices for the same period, except for scales.
so if you have a price of e.g. 2 USD for 1000 kg and 1,90 USD for 2000 kg then you can maintain this in scales, but you still have to have 2 items in the PO so that each one can individually find its price.
Alternative you can create contracts (as well with more than one item) to reflect the different prices and batches.

  • Cost Estimation Through Two PIR valid for same material

    Hello Everyone
I am trying to costing strategy with PIR (Purchase Info Record). Just to check whether its working right or not i have only choosen sub strategy 'Effective Price from Quotation'. My problem is we have got more than one PIR for the same material from different vendors (both have valid dates). My first question is how system will calculate if both PIRs for same material is valid with different prices.
My expectation was that system should pick up the price from PIR which has regular vendor flag ticked in PIR master record but this is not the case. System is picking up the price from the other PIR although i don't know the logic. I am observing system is picking the lower price (as i tested two materials) in both cases. Can anybody guide me how can i make sure that system picks up the price from PIR which has regular ticked or can anybody suggest something elsethat which is right sub strategy to use for PIR?
    Thanks in advence

    Hi Young Sun
The link really helped me a lot to understand the process how system is picking up price. We don't use source list and quota requirement. I have noticed that system will not consider regualr flag tick in PIR for costing unless you you configure at backend in
    Material Logistics->Purchasing->Source Determination->Define Regular Vendor
Once i have activated that tick system is working fine and picking up the price from regular vendor flag. If regular vendor is not ticked system will go vendor with lower price.
@Imdad: Thanks for your kind help as well and input.
    Many thanks again.

  • How to arrive same day two difference prices for same material/customer

how to arrive same day two difference prices for same material/customer.pls give the solution
    thanks in advance
    Aravinthan.K

    Hi
This is possible through some careful customization
In your condition table you need to bring the field PRICE LIST
That is customer/ Material/ Price list
That is customer  ABCD / Material X / Price list 01---Price is Rs 10
That is customer  ABCD / Material X / Price list 02---Price is Rs 20
The condition records to be maintained like this
So same material and same customer with price list 01 price is Rs 10 and with  price list 02 price is Rs 20
Now in sales order you will find  price list field in item details SALES B tab
Through incompletion log you can make this field as an mandatory field
Now in sales order same material and same customer according to the price lists different price is picked
In img-sd-basic functions-Maintain Price-Relevant Master Data Fields--here you can define different price lists

  • Quality info records: different pack configurations for same raw material

how can i differentiate different pack configuration for same raw material in quality info records, as one might approved and the other not? that is, besides creating different material master for each packaging?
    thanks
    Alisa

You need to use the MPN profile functionality that is a standard part of SAP.
In Config under the purchasing define the MPN profile.  There are several options you can turn on/off including info records.
You assign the MPN profile to your material. It now is considered by SAP to be an internal material number.
You then create a HERS material type for each separate manufacturer material number you have.  You only need the purchasing view for these materials.  You can also create purchasing text views, classification and some others if you wish.
In the SAP approved vendors list (AVL), you then assign each manufacturer vendor(s) with the HERS material created.
You create a Q-info record for each manufacturer/HERS material combination.
Now, when you specify the internal material number in a PO, the system will tell you to order the MPN material.  When you do the drop down for the material now, it will show you the approved manufacturers allowed in the AVL for the ordering plant.
When the 01 inspection lot is created you will have a vendor number as well as a manufacturer's number in the inspection lot.  The DMR can be done by the manufacturer or the vendor depending on how you set up the inspection plan. Q-info record will be used accordingly.
Take a look at it and research it.  It's not hard to set up.

  • I am trying to store music for two different iPods on the same computer, against two different Apple IDs. When I try and download content from the Cloud I get an error message?

I am trying to store music for two different iPods on the same Windows 8 computer, and when I try and download content from the Cloud I get an error message. Is it possible to have two different Apple IDs on the same computer?

Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value).  You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads
Content imported from your CDs will have to imported again
The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these).  Without details of the issues you're seeing it is difficult to suggest a remedy other than going through the media album-by-album, track-by-track, and correcting the inconsistencies.
In the absence of a backup or access to the original library data there is no option other than painstakingly recreating your library as described above.  As you do so, you'll now realize how important creating and maintaining backups are - in my case I have at all times three separate duplicates of my library, in two different locations, where none is ever more than a week old compared to the content of my master library.
