Two IDs on Table1 and One ID ont Table2 - Must display 4 Columns as Output

Hi,
I'm quite lost in to doing a query with two tables.
I have the following.
Table: RELATED
Column 1: course_id
Column 2: course_id_related_to
Table: COURSES
Column 1 : id
Column 2 : course_name
Table COURSES joins column [id] with columns:
[course_id] and [course_id_related_to] on table RELATED
I need to query the results as one and display on the output [id] and [course_name] and I seem to be having mayor issues as I have to requery recursively again and again the table RELATED.
The output should be something like this:
[course_id] [course_name] [course_id_related_to] [course_name]
Please help!

Try this
select a.course_id, a.course_name, b.course_id, b.course_name
from courses a, courses b, related c
where a.course_id = c.course_id (+)
and c.related_course_id = b.course_id (+)

In Finder, select the item. Choose File > Get Info (or do ⌘I). Look under General > Kind. Does it read "Alias" or does it read "Application (Intel)"?
If the latter, then it is likely that you're not allowed to delete because it's actually open. Quit Safari. Check if there is an item called Safari in your </Applications> folder. (In Finder, you can get directly to the Applications folder using ⇧⌘A -- that's Shift-Command-A.) Check if it's an application. If it is, then you have an unneeded copy of Safari. You can delete the one on your Desktop. If there isn't, them move the one on the Desktop to the Applications folder -- that's where it belongs.

You can't have 'merged' two IDs - this isn't possible - but you may be using separate IDs for iTunes and iCloud, which are quite separate logins.
Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with each ID in turn. A new password will be sent to your associated email address.
If this doesn't work, go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'More Products and Services', then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'.

Two apple ID's and one calendar

Is there any way to manage calendars from two seperate apple ID's on one calendar on my iOS device?
I have my own personal calendars on my Mac at home which we will call Mac A. I also manage the AV department at my church and want to use the calendar on the church's Mac Mini which we will call Mac B to schedule staffing. I have an iPad and want to use iCal to display and edit the calendars on both Mac A and Mac B at the same time without having to log out of my Apple account on Mac A and into the churches account on Mac B on my iPad.
The only way around it i can think of is to invite Mac A to every calendar entry on Mac B.

You can set up a second ("secondary") iCloud account on Mac B by going to  > System Preferences > Mail,Contacts,Calendars, click "+" at the bottom, click iCloud as the type, then enter a different Apple ID (if you don't have another one, tap Get free Apple ID at the bottom and follow the instructions to set it up), then check Calendars to sync your church calendar with the account. Then on your iPad, go to Settings > Mail,Contacts,Calendars, tap Add Account, tap iCloud, enter the ID and password for the account you set up on Mac B, then check Calendars. You should now be able to access and manage both calendars on your iPad.

Have two apple id's and one won't reset pw

I have two AppleID's setup and when one gets locked out, I go to the Apple Support site and enter the ID information but I never receive the email confirmation to reset it. I have checked both registered emails and I don't seem to get anything from Apple.
This is a reoccuring problem.

Way to have comic book display two pages in landscape and one in portrait?

I'm trying to use iBooks Author to build a very simple manga-style graphic novel. It's based on a print book (with a lot of unconventional frame use), so I'm not using any fancy interactive features or individual-frame zoom-ins or such.
What I want to do is very simple and seems obvious: In landscape, I want two images (one for each page) to display side by side. In portrait, I want a single image to fill the whole display.
Preferably the portrait view will also display one image/page at a time and require page turns, like landscape, rather than a continuous vertical strip of images.
I assume I'm overlooking something really obvious, but I can't seem to figure out how to get this to work in portrait, and searching, or even buying a graphic novel template from a professional studio (they just disabled portrait), hasn't helped. I can set up landscape well enough, but if I check the option to share images with portrait, I just get little inline thumbnails in the continuous-scroll-style vertical view, when what I want is large, single-page images. (Perhaps what I'm really asking is how to disable the infinite scrolling mode in portrait view?)
I'm sure the answer to this will be something simple that makes me feel like an idiot, but I would tremendously appreciate any help.

I'd already read through several of those tips lists, and I was aware that the page turn animation was exclusive to epub documents. I was assuming there would be some way to display a full-screen image in portrait view with an .ibooks file, but perhaps that's not currently the case (which, admittedly, seems like a huge oversight on devices with less-than-10" screens).
I could accept a continuously-scrolling portrait mode if that's a requirement, but I'd at least need to expand the page-images to fill the column, which is where I also wasn't having any luck with. It seems like doing a new section for each page might be a sort of hack, to get around this as well, although it might preclude re-using the images in portrait view.
(I probably also should have mentioned that I realize I could build this as an .epub or PDF book and get it to do more or less what I want, but there would be annoying faux-gutter and borders that I'd prefer to avoid, and iBooks Author otherwise seems to be capable of producing exactly the material I'm looking for with a lot less work than hand-coding an ePub file.)

Apple does not transfer content bought with one Apple ID to another Apple ID. Apple will not merge two Apple IDs.
If most of your content was bought with the Yahoo! Apple ID but you now want the Gmail address for your Apple ID, the trick will be to change the address used for the Yahoo ID with the Gmail address. However, to do that you must first free the Gmail address from that other Apple ID. Use the instructions from Apple to substitute another address that is not used as an Apple ID for your Gmail address in the Apple ID with the Gmail address. Then, when the Gmail address is no longer used in an Apple ID, you can use the same instructions to substitute the Gmail address for the Yahoo address in the Apple ID with the Yahoo address.

Two Different iPod's and One Computer

My sister and i both have iPods and i need to know how to keep our songs separate so we dont end up with all of eachothers songs. it would be helpful!!! is there any way to have two iTunes accounts on 1 computer or am i screwed!!

Well, get this - our family has 3 iPods (all different models, too) and we have a way of keeping unwanted songs out of our iPods. If you have Windows XP, create a new section for every iPod user. If you use one log-in for non-iPod/iTunes business, you can still use it, but keep the others for the iPods only. After, upload your library onto each log-in and just delete the songs that are not yours. Don't worry - your iPod's songs won't be erased because someone deleted them from their iTunes library.
Or Try This...
Create Playlists for each other. When you go to plug in your iPod, got to "Edit", "Preferences", then "Update." click on the box that says to update selected playlists. Every time you update, just change the selected list.

You can have apps and music from multiple IDs on your computer or your phone, but you will need the password for each one to install updates or to reload the content. You cannot merge the content from one ID into another, however.

Two XP PC's and one Time Capsule

Thanks in advance for your help on this one! I've scoured the boards and can't seem to find my same predicament.
I've installed the airport utility on a PC running XP, and the Time Capsule is serving as my main media library for iTunes, Apple TV, etc. I'm all good there. What I can't seem to figure out is how to allow another PC in the house to access the shared drive on the Time Capsule.
From what I can tell, I am using all of the correct settings on the Time Machine. I just can't figure out how to allow the other PC (w/out the airport utility installed) access to the shared disc. Do I have to install the airport utility on the 2nd machine, as well?

1. Yes, you can backup either wired or wireless, and I do recommend doing the first backup wired. When I say wired, that is using an ethernet cable to connect to the Time Capsule via one of the LAN ports.
2. You can setup internet anytime. Just hook up the ethernet cable from your cable or dsl modem into the WAN port of the Time Capsule and then go through Time Capsule setup using AirPort Utility.
3. You don't need to unplug your internet or another computer when backing up. Whether you backup via wired or wireless the Time Capsule will only allow one computer to backup to it at a time and it will have one of the computers wait if both computers try to back up at the same time.
4. The USB port on Time Capsule is used only for external hard drives and printers. You cannot use the USB port for backup of your computer, nor would you want to since it would be a lot slower than using ethernet.

Tough One: 3 iPods, Two i-Tunes Accounts, and one machine

My wife and I have three iPods between us (60GB and 2 Nanos). At present, each is tied to three seperate machines (all running Windows XP).
We would very much like to build a new machine (Windows XP) and have it serve as our repository for all of our tunes. We'd also like to be able to use all three iPods with this one machine.
Have NO clue as to the best way to transfer the music (though I suspect from each iPod to the one machine is probably best) and how we might manage the tunes between devices (profiles?) once we get everything in one place. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
