TXT attachment alignment error

Hi,
creating an attachment in .txt format..
used CONCATENATE con_cret it_attach into it_attach.
        CONDENSE it_attach.
        APPEND it_attach.
to append the data to internal table...
If i Checkin SBWP---output is good but not in mail attachment...
in attachment file every other line is coming after 255 characters
aaaa...........................bb
cc............................dd
if i see in word wrap
aaaa
         bb
                cc
                         dd
Needed output is as below:
aaaa
bbb
ccc
ddd
Does my delimiter have any error?

E-mail body getting converted to .txt attachment

Hello All,
Below is the description of the issue: -
1) Smartform is sent as .pdf attachment in the mail along with some text in the email body, using the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
2) Initially, the entire process was working fine.
3) However recently, there is a problem while sending the email. Whenever we are sending the email, the text in the email body is automatically converted into .txt attachment rather than being sent in email body.
4) There are no code changes which are done, have verified that.
5) I copy pasted the same code, in another system and the email is sent correctly with email body.
So wanted to know the following :-
1) So is the conversion of email to .txt file due to some script running on the server / is this due to some configuration.
2) If it is due to some configuration, then where is this configuration maintiained ?
3) Anything which can be done on the ABAP side to control this ?

Hello All,
I have identified the root cause of this problem.
The issue is due to the configuration maintained in transaction SODIS, which is the transaction to add disclosures to the outgoing emails.
If the standard disclosure is activated over here, the original email body is sent as text attachment and the standard disclosure is added in the email body. If we deactivate this disclosure functionality, the process works perfectly fine.
(This logic is included inside the class CL_SEND_REQUEST_BCS, method ADD_DISCLOSURE_TO_MIME).
So is this standard functionality error ? I could not find SAP notes which are relevant in above context.

HAving issues in sending txt attachment in abap email pgm

    I need to send an email from my Abap program with a txt attachment in the flowing format:

However, this is not getting formatted properly and the txt file is getting unnessacary spaces. I am working in ECC 6 and is Unicode complaint.
I am not able to format this in the txt attachment.

You need to use attribute CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=> NEWLINE or CR to use format the mail contents.

DVD burner (UJ-825) does not recognize blank media - alignment error

when inserting (tried several) blank DVD into my iMac DVD burner, it spits it out after a few seconds ...
error message in the logs
Jul 4 04:43:46 Bazounga kernel[0]: disk2: alignment error.
is there anyway I could re-calibrate the head of the DVD burner or is could the problem be coming from somewhere else.
N.B.: home burned DVDs cannot be read anymore (same behaviour)
When inserting a blank CD it recognises it but trying to burn a "burnable folder" is fails with error message 0x8002006E)

But commercial CD's and DVD can be read after some "hesitation noise"

Normally this error message is caused by incorrect Format or some of the cheaper incompatible Brands of Media. I suggest you use this.

I also suggest you use DVD-R Media.
it is the most recognized all around.
Be sure when you buy that your optical drive will burn at the speed it was designed to use.
Many of the higher speed media like 16X will not work on older computers.
They will give you error messages

I suggest you find Maxell 16X DVD-R media in the individual Jewel Cases and read the packaging and you will see that it will burn at 1X,2X,4X,8X,and 16X this media will work with just about anything in the way of computers.

Content coming as .txt attachment along with email but not in email body

Hi,
I have a proxy to email scenario. The requirement is to generate an excel sheet and keep it as an attachment and send it to user through email.
I am able to get the excel sheet as an attachment in email but the content of email is also coming as attachment which I do not want.
Problem area :

The Content should come in Email body but it is coming as .txt attachment in email. The email body is blank.
Can someone help as how I can get the content in email body.?

Txt attachment

Where does txt attachment go when downloaded.. I have downloaded 3 and can not find them?

It is usually saved to a "download" folder. You can access the downloads through the "downloads app" or a "my files app" or a third party file explorer application from the Play Store.

How come when i copy txt left aligned indesign keeps on pasting the txt right aligned?

I had to use a indesign english-arabic for a while (turned back to english international afterwards). Ever since i did that when i copy txt left aligned indesign keeps on pasting the txt right aligned. it is mind boggling & very annoying. i've put all my prefs back to my regular dutch setting, but even when i past with a paragraph style left aligned it keeps on putting it right aligned... Help.

It should paste with wahtever style is assigned at the insertion point when you paste without formatting... Pasting formatted text is going to bring all the formatting (including what will become local overrides) with it.
Is your text showing the + sign to indicate a local override of the style? If it is you can clear the overrides after pasting.

Superdrive not mounting "disk1: alignment error."

Howdy,
I've got a bit of a delima. I tried to pop a cd rom into my computer yesterday
and I got the following error:
"The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"
Ignore or Eject.
now it seems when I put any disc into the drive the computer refuses to
mount it. If I look in the system log I have the following message for each
time I stick in a cd:
disk1: alignment error.
This message is repeated q few times.. I can see the disc in the "Disk
Utility", and the size reported corresponds to what the disc should contain,
the other information is there as well (such as the other informaiton like the
manufacturer). However I cannot mount the disc. I've tried discs I know are
good that I've used in this computer before, and I get the same result. Keep
in mind that the drive doe not eject the disc, it just sits there. Does
anyone have any thoughts on this? I did a secuirty update recently, though
that is about it interms of installing software.

My quess is that the CD Media you are using may be to high a speed or the Fromat you used and then there is CHEAP CD's all 3 of these can affect the performance.
Check your System Profiler and the Optical Drive in your computer and make sure you are using Good High Quality Media and of the correct Format. Remember Apple Optical Drives have a tendency to be much picker than PC's

What does disk2s2: alignment error mean?

I just got a Western Digital My Book. It was a warranty exchange. Its 4TB and came PC formatted. I reformatted for Mac.... In disk utility, selected partition, 1 partition, guild format, and applied. In console though, it gave me a disk2s2: alignment error. What does this mean?

It sounds like you are getting an error from a partition on your replacement hard drive. There can be a few things that could cause that error, so I would use the Disk Utility to attempt to repair this external drive:
Repair disk formatting information
In the list at the left, select the disk you want to repair. (Be sure to select an item that’s at the far left, and not one indented to the right.)
Click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
Disk Utility examines your disk’s formatting information for errors and corrects any it finds.
If Disk Utility can’t repair the disk’s formatting information, back up as much of your data as possible, partition it, reinstall OS X, then restore your backed-up data.

TS3276 TXT attachment puzzle

My local health centre sends me regular dosage instructions for medication I have to take. They send an email with a .txt attachment.
I can view this easily if I open the mail on my iPad. I can view it if I access my ISP's webmail interface. But if I open it through MacMail - IMAP connection (my preferred email channel) the attachment is unreadable. The .txt file opens but presents a gobbledygook of alpha and numeric characters.
Is it something in my settings I've missed? Have been puzzling for weeks without being able to find an answer...

Officejet 6500 - Alignment Error

My black ink was not printing so I cleaned the print head. Once I replaced the head with a full black ink I received an alignment error. I unplugged the printer to reset and I still received the error.

I read about the "Alignment Failed" issue you're having with your Officejet 6500 after cleaning the printhead. My best suggestion to you, would be to try all of the steps in the guide below to hopefully get the alignment to pass successfully.
