Ube: error: Symbol bit vector index field overlowed

I am trying to compile a large file with -xO2 -g0, using studio11 and solaris 10 on opteron machine. Anything I need to set to get around the problem. I don't have the problem with debug mode.

This is a bug in compiler, specifically in x86/x64 backend. Could you please file a bug against Sun Studio through http://bugs.sun.com/services/bugreport/index.jsp ?
Thanks,
Boris

  • How to modify field symbol of type Index Table with other field symbol of type any.

    Hello Experts,
    How is it possible to update an filed symbol table of type Index table with other filed symbol table.
    e.g.
    Field symbol :  <lt_table1> type Index table.
    Field symbol : <lt_table2> type Index table.
    after some code...at run time these table filled like following.
    <lt_tabel1 > has  value fore column  like c11 , c12 , c13
    <lt_table2> has value for column like C11     , C12 , C13 , C14 , C15 . some extra  values from <lt_table1>
    Now I want to be modify <table1> one entires like C12 with <table2 > col C12.
    how I can achieve this.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    did you try  ASSIGN COMPONENT xx OF STRUCTURE <IT_TABEL1> TO <IT_TABLE2>.
    xx will contain the number of the column
    or maybe, if you have the description with a field catalog or other, that will be easier ..

  • Studio 11: bug in -O2 mode (64-bit) causes 'ube' error in Qt-4.1.0

    I think I have found a 64-bit optimizer bug in latest Studio 11
    C++ compiler (CC -V: CC: Sun C++ 5.8 2005/10/13) when compiling
    Qt-4.1.0/X11 with -O2 and with -xarch=generic64 on

    To reproduce the problem, get latest Qt-4.1.0/X11 source code
    (will probably be available to the public in a few days).
    Unpack, then configure & build with:

    Can anybody confirm this?
    Thanks,

    PS: For the records: to get Qt-4.1.0 compiled anyway, simply change -O2 into -O in
    file $QTDIR/mkspecs/solaris-cc-64/qmake.confbefore running configure

    Jochen,
    this is indeed a x86 optimizer bug. Thank you for reporting it. Indeed, -xO2 is the only optimization level which triggers the error for the file qxml.cpp, so if you can use -xO3 (or, the same, -O), the compiler will most likely produce more optimized binary.
    Thanks,
    Boris

    Bienvenido al foro!
    Puedes subir una foto de la RAM que compraste? El Link provisto dice "compatible", pero no especifica la marca, por ende querria ver la foto.
    Ebay, Mercado Libre y otras plataformas ofrecen muchas veces RAM "compatibles" de marca desconocida, esto causa problemas en varios equipos de Lenovo. Generalmente yo recomiendo comprar las marcas conocidas como Elpida, Samsung, Hynix, Crucial, AData, Corsair (pero excluyendo la linea "Value Select") y Kingston (pero excluyendo la linea "Value RAM").

  • RFINDEX - Errors in section Reconciliation INDEX vs BSEG

    Hi Experts,
    After converting a normal GL account into OIM, we have executed the report RFINDEX for consistency check.
    We have found errors in the section Reconciliation INDEX vs BSEG.
    But I am not sure what exactly the system trying to make me understand and the list of documents that got affected.
    Analysis log says that error msg appears at XBLNR field in BSEG & BSIS table.
    However, we do not find the field in BSEG table.  Then why the system is showing it as "error msg "?
    May I request the forum to throw some light and route me towards solution for overcoming the issue?
    Regards,
    BSK..

    Hi Surya,
    Please note first of all that the repair option in RFINDEX is only available for use SAP Support. We never recommend that customers or general systems users use this report in repair mode themselves. It can lead to further inconsistencies if used incorrectly.
    The error you have seen on this account related to XBLNR is arising because there are differences in the values when comparing the contents of field BKPF-XBLNR and BSIS-XBLNR for a particular set of line items. The XBLNR field is in the header table BKPF and not BSEG.
    This error is usually a non critical error and can occur when customising settings such as user exits, substitutions update the XBLNR field in one table (eg BKPF) but not in another (eg BSIS). In these types of situations we usually advise customers to first take time in understanding why the values are updated for XBLNR in their system; the field is highly customizable and therefore errors like this can often appear in systems when running RFINDEX. There is no bug in the standard system which causes these types of differences.
    The good news is that this error has nothing to do with the open item management which you enabled. Otherwise you would see error messages like "XOPVW" etc. From your description it seems that the conversion to Open Item Management you did was successful.
    Kind regards,
    Declan

  • Indexed field of Reporting: Opportunity Product Revenues

    Hi all.
    I am using the Indexed field in Revenue.
    "Analytics: Opportunity Product Revenue History" can be found in the Indexed field of the revenue.
    However, "Reporting: Opportunity Product Revenues" can not find it in.
    How can I find the Indexed field of the revenue in Opportunity Product Revenues report ?

    Derrick,
    I need a bit more information as to what you are trying to achieve, if you are trying to reflect the product revenue on an opty as a report then filter that opty ID in your report URL in the webapplet and it will work. I've done it.
    cheers

  • Creating a bit map index on a partitioned table

    Dear friends,
    I am trying to create a bitmap index on a partitioned table but am receiving the following ORA error. Can you please let me know on how to create a local bit map index as the message suggests?
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-25122: Only LOCAL bitmap indexes are permitted on partitioned tables
    Trying to use the keyword local in front leads to wrong syntax.
    Thanks in advance !!
    Somnath

    ORA-25122 Only LOCAL bitmap indexes are permitted on partitioned tables
    Cause: An attempt was made to create a global bitmap index on a partitioned table.
    Action: Create a local bitmap index instead
    Example of a Local Index Creation
    CREATE INDEX employees_local_idx ON employees (employee_id) LOCAL;
    Example is about btree and I think it will work for bitmap also.

  • Passing Degree Symbols in a Parameter Field

    We have a parameter on a crystal report configured to look up data from the database to allow a user to select values.
    If someone selects a value that has a degree symbol in it then tries to run the report we get a parameter not valid error.
    We see the error when we run the report in Crystal Developer as well.
    We are using Crystal XI reporting against an Oracle 10g unicode database. We are using an ODBC connection.
    Are we using the right driver for this?

    Hi Dan Robinson,
    As you said, the report parameter is not able to identity / compare Degree symbol with your database field.
    If it is a number field then try the follwoing in record selection formula, if not please place your formula to check the syntax.
    Totext(DatabaseField} = Totext({?ParameterValue})
    Thanks,
    Sastry

  • How to set the option Bit-mapped indexes to true ?

    Hi,
    I a not a an Oracle Administrator. Usually, I just use Oracle as developper. I have got a Oracle 10g database. I can not import data in my database because the Bit-mapped options is not set.

    Best regards,

    I beleiev that you are on Standard Edition.Bitmap indexes can be used only when you are working with Enterprise edition.
    SQL> select  * from V$option where parameter like '%Bit%';
    PARAMETER
    VALUE
    Bit-mapped indexes
    TRUE
    SQL> select * from V$version;

    SQL>I guess you see the entry coming of Enterprise Edition in my banner.This is missing in your V$version, so you are using Standard Edition install.
    You need to move to Enterprise edition to use Bitmap Indexes.

  • Bit Map Indexing

    Hi All
    i have a table with 5.5 million records and i have a fields (project id and owner id) with 8400 and 507 distinct values. For reporting reasons i want to create a bit map index on the project id. My question is even though it makes the query faster will it take more space? How can i calculate how much space it takes? Secondly if the ROI is not good for creating index on the project id can i creat index on the second field (owner id) and can still make the query faster?
    Thanks

My question is even though it makes the query faster will it take more space? Strange question - indexes are an overhead. Space is needed for an index structure. The structure needs to be maintained when data is added, changed or deleted.
    The question is whether these overheads are justified by the increase in performance when reading the table structure for selected rows and using the index structure as part of process to get to those selected rows.
    So it is not only space that is the coin of payment for indexes. There's also extra CPU to burn in order to maintain those indexes.
    How can i calculate how much space it takes? Well, today I would say that space is much less of a consideration. Disk space is cheap. Overheads to maintain additional data structures are not cheap. So I would first look at the performance impact. If you need to maintain a 100 rows/sec insert rate for example, you can ill afford overheads that do not pay back with time gained when reading data.
    I would also want to measure just how much the index reduces the workload for reading data. Does it decrease the read I/O load by 1% or 50% ?
    You need to quantify the impact of that index to determine whether it is worthwhile. And it does not mean merely calculating the cost ito space used and then see how fast it makes a query by using a stop watch or timer (the wrong metric for measuring SQL performance).

  • Embedded R Script error: cannot allocate vector of size 838.6 Mb

    Hi,
    I am trying to use linear model in Embedded R Scripts. In the Linear Model, we have to predict on a column which is dependent on 7 selected variables. The table has around 115335 records. I get an error when i fire the below select query saying 'RQuery Error: cannot allocate vector of size 838.6 Mb'.
    Is there any limit on the number of records to be passed for prediction?

    Can someone please help me with this?

    Mark,
    I tried to use below 2 methods:
    Method1: Embedded R Script - R Interface - Used the below script
    modlist <- ore.groupApply(
    X=OOS_AGGR_FACT,
    INDEX=OOS_AGGR_FACT$PEP_REGION_ASM,
    function(dat) {
    mod <- lm(OOS_LOST_DOLLARS ~ DAY_OF_WEEK + STORE + PEP_BRAND + ITM_VELOCITY_CLUSTER + STR_VELOCITY_CLUSTER + OOS_REASON + DAYS_OF_SUPPLY, dat)
    prd <- predict(mod, newdata=dat)
    prd[as.integer(rownames(prd))] <- prd
    cbind(dat, PRED = prd)
    Result: Returned o/p in ore.list format. How do I convert it to table and store it as a table in database?
    Method2: Embedded R Script - SQL Interface
    1) Created a packages as:
    create or replace package oos_pkg_1 as type rec is record ( "RECORD_DATE" VARCHAR2(255),"DAY_OF_WEEK" VARCHAR2(255),"STORE" VARCHAR2(255),"PEP_REGION_ASM" VARCHAR2(255),"PEP_BRAND" VARCHAR2(255),"ITM_VELOCITY_CLUSTER" VARCHAR2(255),"STR_VELOCITY_CLUSTER" VARCHAR2(255),"OOS_REASON" VARCHAR2(255),"DAYS_OF_SUPPLY" NUMBER,"OOS_LOST_DOLLARS" NUMBER ); type cur is ref cursor return rec; end;
    2) Created a function as:
    create or replace function oosgroupeval_1
    ( inp_cur oos_pkg_1.cur,
    par_cur sys_refcursor,
    out_qry varchar2,
    grp_col varchar2,
    exp_txt varchar2)
    return sys.AnyDataSet
    pipelined parallel_enable (partition inp_cur by hash ( "PEP_REGION_ASM" ))
    cluster inp_cur by ( "PEP_REGION_ASM" )
    using rqsys.rqGroupEvalImpl;
    3) Finally used the below R script:
    begin
    sys.rqScriptDrop('OOS_LD_Prediction');
    sys.rqScriptCreate('OOS_LD_Prediction',
    'function(dat,datastore_name) {
    mod <- lm(OOS_LOST_DOLLARS ~ DAY_OF_WEEK + STORE + PEP_REGION_ASM + PEP_BRAND + ITM_VELOCITY_CLUSTER + STR_VELOCITY_CLUSTER + OOS_REASON + DAYS_OF_SUPPLY, dat)
    prd <- predict(mod, newdata=dat)
    prd[as.integer(rownames(prd))] <- prd
    res <- cbind(dat, PRED = prd)
    end;
    select *
    from table(OOSGROUPEVAL_1(
    cursor(select day_of_week, store, pep_region_asm, pep_brand, itm_velocity_cluster, str_velocity_cluster, oos_reason, days_of_supply, oos_lost_dollars
    from oos_aggr_fact),
    cursor(select 1 as "ore.connect", 'LP' as "datastore_name" from dual),
    'select day_of_week, store, pep_region_asm, pep_brand, itm_velocity_cluster, str_velocity_cluster, oos_reason,days_of_supply, oos_lost_dollars, 1 PRED
    from oos_aggr_fact',
    'PEP_REGION_ASM',
    'OOS_LD_Prediction' ));
    Result: Got error as below
    Error in 'contrasts <- '(' *tmp*', value = contr.funs[1+isOF[nn]]):

    Can you please let me know if i am missing anything in the above 2 methods?

    But when i check the code with code inspector im getting an error saying no primary index is used in where condition.
    How can i solve this problem.
    Pls. provide some pointers.
    Thanks.

    HI Deepti,
         The problem is since the fields used in where condition is not mentioned in any of the indexes created for table ( you can check the maintained indexes for table by clicking on the 'Indexes' button or ctrl+F5)
          Atlease include MANDT in where condition, or create your own index with the fields which you have used in SELECT query.
    this will solve the problem
