UCCX 9 - Too many transfer failures

Hello guys,
Need some help here as I get "Too many transfer failures" message when Im running the select resource step in my script. I am sure that it's not the problem with the script as it works previously. Attach also the MIVR logs and I'm highlighting the part where I think it's the cause of the issue.

Appreciate your help.

I can make a pretty good guess on this one having seen the situation occur many times before.
UCCX is not aware of, and doesn't really understand, the partitions and call search spaces on CUCM.  When you do a select resource step, and attempt to send the call to the agent, the UCCX server will basically do a switch hook flash type supervised transfer to transfer the call to the agent.
When the transfer attempt is made, the CTI port that the caller is queued on will attempt to outdial to the agent's extension.  It assumes that the agent phone is reachable, but has no way to verify this.
If the agent extension cannot be reached as a destination using the calling search space assigned to the CTI port, the transfer will fail.  The agent will likely get stuck in a reserved state, or maybe even made not ready by the system.  You can validate this by opening the dialed number analyzer in CUCM, and use the analyze function to dial the agent extension using the CSS assigned to your CTI ports.
Every time I've seen this problem over the years, the above issue was the problem.  Check it out and see if it doesn't solve your issue.
Good luck!

  • Too many HD failures

    Hello,
I have a less than a year old DV6 Product number LW215UA#ABA   i7 computer that runs flawless when it is running except the original HD died after 1 month and the first SSD upgrade died after 6 months and the 2nd SSD died 3 months after that.
HP tells me that SSD's are not recommended and I find that unusual and wonder why?  Is there something about the voltage or whatever that is wrong for an SSD? It is super fast with the 510 Intel.
OR, maybe it is something I am doing wrong that kills these drives ?...any ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks

I purchased a dv6 in July, arrived dented and then the drive failed a week after I got it back from HP repairs.  They replaced the computer.  The new computer's hard-drive failed after a month.  Replaced by a tech.  Other hard-drive failed.  They've now had it in repairs for over 2 weeks.  They don't care at all about the terrible machines they put out, it can't be just the hard-drives it's got to be something else burning them out.  It's amazing how many people have seen these cascades of failing drives and yet nothing's happening to fix it.

  • Iplanet MS 5.2 Too many failures to this host during this run skipping ...

    Hello every body,
I'm DBA (Oracle) and I've been replacing a System Administrator who left suddenly the company, I work on iplanet messaging server 5.2
The company use a domain like email.company.xx it's the server root so we can send and receive without probleme
when we send from others domains which are hosted by this server we can't receive, I've tried whith outlook then I've received automatically Spams.
    In the log file
1/ when I try from the domain root to another domain (in the same server) I have "initial status response expected"
2/ when I try from a domain to the same domain (not the root) I have "Too many failures to this host during this run; skipping this host: Try again later"
I thought of the tcp_local config, I checked imta.cnf but nothing.
How do I resolve this problem
    Please help!
    Regards

Messaging Server 5.1 is beyond the EOL Shane described previously. The date after which you can not even open support calls for 5.1 was 6 years ago, March 2004. See [http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Messaging+Server+EOL+Dates].
There will be no further bug fixes for 5.2, 6.0, and 6.1, but you can still open support cases about them. The "last bug fix" date for 6.2 is this month, June 2010.
The "Too many failures to this host during this run; skipping this host: Try again later" error means what it says: there have been too many previous failures trying to relay messages to this host, so the message is being put back in the queue to be retried later. So you need to look at what those failures were.
The "initial status response expected" error means that the smtp_client process on this system connected to the TCP port on the remote MTA but never received the "banner". So you need to look at what is happening on that remote system or in the network. Perhaps there is a firewall in between? You could use something like snoop to see what is happening at the TCP level. But...
You describe the messages having this problem as being "from domain to the same domain" and the mail.log_current info you provided shows it is from "[email protected]" to "[email protected]" and that it came in on the tcp_intranet channel and was enqueued to the tcp_local channel.
I wonder why mail for a user in some other domain is coming from that user and going thru your system. Is that your own domain and this is an MTA system rather than a message store system?
You could try setting LOG_CONNECTION=3 in option.dat (and do imsimta cnbuild; and imsimta restart job_controller). On current versions, that will give more information about the connection attempts. But I do not know if 5.1 had that option. If that option works on 5.1, it will give you the hostname it is trying to connect to. Then you can investigate either on that host or the network.

  • Got message trying to log in to email 'too many l...

    Hi BT,
This morning when first logging into BT Mail I got a failure message to the effect that there had been too many login failures on my account try again in 10 minutes.
Since this was on my FIRST login in attempt it could not have been me that caused the login failures.
    Questions for BT:-
    1. Is someone trying to hack my email account?
    2. How many times does it have to fail before causing this message?
    3. Are you able to detect (IP Address?) where these failures are coming from?
    4. If you are able to detect there are too many login fails how about displaying the number of login fails?
    Looking fwd to your reply.

    radclifm wrote:
re:  Did you receive any replies?
Yes, in the form of delivery failure messages. So I could see that the real email address used (it was mine) and I could see what the spam message was (it contained a link to a dodgy website). Not being an email spoofer I can only go by what I have read and it would appear that when an email address is spoofed it will be returned by the delivery failure system to the spoofed address because no authorisation checks are done on spoofed address. That is the point of spoofing a genuine address.
re: ... email would return to you so there would be no gain for the spammer
The messages sent out contained a web page link, so the spammers (and there have been several) would not be trying to get replies from the email, more trying to get the recipients to look at some dodgy web site. Fair enough.
re: The volume of emails sent by spammers is I suspect more than the 49 permitted group email limit set by BTMail on your account so this would be rather limiting for any spammer.
I've seen the failed deliveries come back in batches, which would fit the group email limit, and mean they were trying to circumvent the group mail limit.
As an aside, it's worth setting up a non-existent email address in Contacts to see if anyone is doing this, then you'd see the failed delivery come back. I have already done that. It is the only email address I have in my contacts. I don't keep contacts or emails on the servers. I would rather be responsible for my own emails and contacts security.
re: deleting the emails to cover their tracks - I've found that with BT Mail webmail if you delete from Sent box they don't appear in Trash, so you wouldn't see the spam mails there either. I have found that in BTMail if you do delete from sent box they do get put in the trash so your spammers are very tidy not only deleting it from the sent folder but also the Trash folder.
I am not trying to convince you one way or the other, you have your views that your email account is/has been logged onto and emails sent from it and I have my view that it was only your email account address that was spoofed. I think we will just have respect each others views and agree to differ.
The bottom line is you do what you feel is best for your security and piece of mind when using your email account.

  • CF6.1: Administrator Login Failure - too many redirects

We a running CF 6.1 with a Commonspot content management system with IIS 6.0 as the web server.  The CF Administrator login screen comes up and I am able to enter the password.  Depending upon the browser various error messages (see below) appear that seem to indicate redirect issues between index.cfm and enter.cfm.
There are two IIS web sites (commonspot and Administration) which both have CFIDE in them.  Renaming the "administrator" folder under either web site causes the CF admin page to be not found. I'm looking for any troubleshooting help.  I think there is an issue between index.cfm and enter.cfm in the login process.  The server is virtual so we can snap back the the original state if the new config fails.

I have fixed the problem by own.
Seems there are some while space in the endpoint url.
    Fix
    http_req:= utl_http.begin_request
    trim(l_endpoint_url)
    ,'POST'
    ,'HTTP/1.1'
    It works...

  • Is it possible to have too many keyframes in one project in Premiere?

    Hi all,
I'm using Premiere 6 on a Windows 7 ULT machine.
Is it possible to have too many keyframes in one project in Premiere?
I'm getting app crashes when I try to re-open a certain project in Premiere 6 and it seems that if that file has over 93 keyframes, then it will not re-open.  But I can re-open that exact same project file with 93 keyframes in it, no problem.
But if I go any further and create any more keyframes than 93 in a new re-saved version of the exact same file, then that file will not re-open and I get an app crash... you can see screenshots of the two Windows app crash info panels below that I'm getting from three different bad Premiere project files that I've created so far.
I've tested and tested what is going on here and this seems to be what is causing the bad files.  I've re-created the scenario and re-created files with over 93 keyframes from the same base project file that will still open... as soon as I get more than 93 keyframes in this file, then that newly saved file will not re-open after I close and try to re-open it.
This is 75 keyframes in one still image clip, 14 keyframes in another still image clip and 2 keyframes each in two other still image clips in a single project file... that is the limit... if I create any more keyframes in the clip that has 75 keyframes, the new file will save and render, but it won't re-open once it has been closed.
The two slightly different app crash info panels show, in the first one below,
    "Fault Module Name: StackHash_e98d"
... and the second one shows,
    "Fault Module Name: PREMINFO.dll"
... both messages with a little more different info in each one.  I get either of the two error info panels when trying to re-open all three bad files that I've created with over 93 keyframes in them.  That is, two of the files alternate between giveing "StackHash_e98d" and "PREMINFO.dll" when trying to open them and one of them always shows the "Fault Module Name: PREMINFO.dll" error.
So even the error messages are inconsistent with two of the bad files.
I've searched the internet for this error in association with Premiere and I've also searched on this forum and found nothing.  Can anyone shed any light on this?
    Thanks,
    digi

    Bill,
Even though I figured out a work around, I was still interested to know if these file opening crashes are related to Virtual Memory.
So on the topic of Virtual Memory... a few months ago I was troubleshooting a different problem in Premeire and I found this information...
"To improve performance in Premiere Pro, adjust the size of the paging file to a maximum of twice the amount of installed RAM."
Previous to that time three months ago or so, I had my Virtual Memory settings at the default automatic setting, but I tried setting my VM to twice the amount of installed RAM, and I've had it set that way ever since, just to make sure I'm optimizing the VM performance for Premiere and other apps.
But that isn't making any difference in this case.  Today I also found information in a search that says to troubleshoot StackHash crashes, one should turn off "DEP" in the system settings for the application with the crash problem... according to the paragraph below, from the second post down by Chris on this tdistler.com page... http://tdistler.com/2009/04/10/stackhash-and-application-crashes-on-windows
Even though this was written in 2009 with Windows Vista in mind, many things for Vista work in Windows 7... it says,
"Here’s how 99 percent of Vista users can fix a StackHash failure. I’ll walk you through it step by step:
    Method A:
    1. Open your Start menu and click Control Panel
    2. Browse to “System Maintenance” then “System”
    3. In the left panel, select “Advanced System Settings” from the available links
    4. You should now see the System Properties Window, which will have three sections. The top section is labeled “Performance” and has a “Settings” button. Click this button.
    5. Select the “Data Execution Prevention” tab.
    6. Select the option which reads “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select”
    7. Use the “Browse” button to locate the executable file for the application you were trying to start when you received the StackHash error, and click Open to add it to your exceptions list.
    8. Click Apply or OK to commit your changes."
But I tried this and none of the three problem files that I encountered would open... I still got the StackHash_e98d or PREMINFO.dll crash errors.
So anyway, I'm a ways past that in my project now, just continuing with more keyframes over the number of 78 in separate but identical still image clips... that allows me to successfully work with this project with as many keyframes as I need.
    Thanks again,
    digi

  • Too many lines for CO-PA assessment postings in KSB1

    Hi Experts,
I created an assessment cycle in KEU1, with one segment, using an PA transfer structure (several cost elements to several value fields), and I´m using one single secondary cost element (category 42) to credit the cost centers.
When I execute the assessment via KEU5, the credits in the cost centers for the cost element category 42 generates too many lines (for example, I had 3 postings to 3 primary cost elements and in KSB1 I have 9 lines of "credits" - operation KSPA.):
    Primary Cost Elements:
    4110201004  ==> 3.000,00
    4110209009  ==> 2.000,00
    4110209013  ==> 1.000,00
Secondary cost element (after settlement through KEU5):
    6519999999 ==> 134,36-
                                198,92-
                                190,49-
                                291,54-
                                548,27-
                                311,88-
                                2.659,89-
                                1.268,02-
                                396,63-
Do you know how can I summarize this postings to have only 3 (ore one) line for the secondary cost element? I cannot identify what was the criteria used by SAP to generate 9 lines.
    Kind Regards
    Mayumi

the number of line item crediting the cost centre, shall be the same of the line item required in the COPA posting. So the more receiver you have in COPA , the more line item are created.

  • Toshiba DT01ACA050 too many bad sectors on first 5 months

    Hi Good day,
I bought a toshiba internal drive 500gb(sealed) from my friend but after weird behavior on my pc I found out that it has too many bad sectors detected by HD tune pro and HDsentinel. He insisted that the drive is in good condition because it was
sealed thus he don't cover it for personal warranty and further instructed that I must be the one to RMA it but dont know how I live in the Philippines and don't have experience rma'ing a hard drive yet. Also it's weird coz it shows a different product model (Hitachi) instead of Toshiba DT model as seen on my hard drive cover.

  • IPhone cannot sync address book, "too many flushes" in console

Hello, ran into this recently and its driving me nuts. I've restored the phone twice, without restoring a backup, setting it up as a new phone each time.
It'll sync everything else fine but not this. I have reset the sync history in isync, deleted my address book completely (I have a backup of it) yet iTunes still shows the old groups under the info tab. I've double checked that I am the owner on the permissions page of the mail/ical/itunes/etc.... folders in %users/Library. Repaired permissions. I'm running out of things to check.
Whenever I try to sync this is the information that can be found in the Console. I've deleted preferences, i'm almost ready to completely blow itunes away and re-import/re-rate my itunes library from scratch!

I also cannot sync anything from the Info tab, contacts, calendars, can't replace the data either. If I enable iCal syncing it just hangs on the sync and doesn't error out. it'll stay syncing contacts for over 12 hours so far with no change.

Now isn't this interesting. I decided on a whim to have console open when I reset the sync preferences. And this is what it reported. Definitely some permissions errors. I've already run

After running sudo chown -R rr152510 SyncServices/ from terminal I received the same errors. So either its not following through the sub-directories and changing the owner, or its something else. Gonna try it from the root user, though sudo should have given me permissions to do anything I wanted.

But this problem is understandable, as the database is not running. The main problem why database is not running, I have found the reason but do not understand how to solve the problem.
Since, the database was not running, I tried to startup the database, I then came across the following which is my problem (Why so many files are open? Linux OS error says too many files open. See below,
    SQL> conn /as sysdba

    SQL> startup
    ORACLE instance started.

Can anybody has run into such problem and guide me to a solution, please?
    Thanks

    Hi,
yes, this DB was functioning o.k. this configuration script was part of RMAN daily backup.
Last night the backup failed. So, when I opened "Failed job" in the EM, I saw this type of messages.
That was the starting point. Gradually, I tried to narrow down on to the actual problem and found the findings as I have posted.
One way of sovling problem, I thought that, all these processes I would kill and then try to open the database, it might startup. However, that wouldnot lead me in ensuring this won't occur again.
That's why I am trying to understand why it should open, so many processes (why spawn so many .flb files?) Any thoughts you have around this?
I will try to restart the OS as the last resort.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
    Regards,

  • WLS 10.3.5 on RHEL 5.4, SocketException: Too many open files

    Hi
I'm running Weblogic server 10.3.5 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga), with Java jdk1.6.0_27.
My order handling application, when receiving client orders, needs to make outbound SOAP calls to fulfill the order. During a performance test, we got following errors:
    ####<Feb 10, 2012 2:28:41 PM ICT> <Critical> <Server> <KKMOMAPP2> <KKMOMPE2> <DynamicListenThread[Default]> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1328858921806> <BEA-002616> <Failed to listen on channel "Default" on 172.24.106.81:4095, failure count: 1, failing for 0 seconds, java.net.SocketException: Too many open files>
I monitored the java process of this application, when the "Too many open files" error happened, it had 1388 open file descriptors, among which 655 were sockets.
I also monitored the total open file descriptors of the weblogic user account, the count was around 6300 during this error.
These numbers are far smaller than the file limits configured on OS:
    - Under weblogic account, ulimit -n shows 65536
    - /proc/sys/fs/file-max shows 772591
    - Following lines are already in /etc/security/limits.conf
    weblogic soft nofile 65536
    weblogic hard nofile 65536
    weblogic soft nproc 16384
    weblogic hard nproc 16384
I did another test using a simple java program to open large number of sockets under weblogic account. It has no problem to open 15,000 sockets. It seems the file descriptor limit is indeed quite high, but for some reasons, the Weblogic process fails even when it has merely 1388 open files. Are there other Linux or Weblogic parameters I should tune? Or anything else I missed?
    Thank you very much
    Ning

    Hi All,
Any help on this issue ?
    Thank you,

  • Intermittent too many open files error and Invalid TLV error

    Post Author: jam2008
    CA Forum: General
I'm writing this up in the hopes of saving someone else a couple of days of hair-pulling...
Environment: Crystal Reports XI Enterprise / also runtime via Accpac ERP 5.4
    Invalid TLV error in Accpac
"too many open files" error in event.log file
    Situation:
Invalid TLV error occurs seemingly randomly on report created in CR Professional 11.  Several days of troubleshooting finally lead to the following diagnosis:
This error occurs in a report that contains MORE THAN 1 bitmap image.
The error only shows up after 20 or more reports have been generated sequentially, WITHOUT CLOSING the application that is calling the report.  In our case the Invoice Report dialog within Accpac.  This same error occurred in a custom 3rd party VB.NET app that also called the report through an Accpac API.

after getting this message you need to do 2 things:
    1. delete the current workspace because it contains some bad data in one the config files - failure to delete the workspace will result the error message to appear even if trying to upload a single file.
    2. add to DTR files in groups - no more than 500 in a single add.
