Udev-182 cannot find firmware (even long after boot)

Hello.
After upgrading to kernel v3.3.2 with udev 182, I began experiencing issues with my video card and WiFi adapter.
The cause seems to be similar in both cases: udev can not load firmware at boot time, returning –2 (ENOENT, file not found).
These issues cannot be worked around by blacklisting the corresponding drivers and modprobe`ing them manually after login.
Well, I`m okay with WiFi not working, since I don`t use it, but the video card is really a trouble.
How can I make udev do its job?
[UPD:] Last configuration known to be working is kernel 3.1.6 + udev 175.

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check the utilities folder as this is a common one for it to disappear into. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

In the future, you need to get smarter about how you store your serial numbers; they must be backed up onto a different disk, just like your photos; or you may use some other storage method like paper and pencil. Just like photos, you need at least 2 copies in different locations.

Firefox cannot find profile, even after deleting and re-installing.

I un-installed firefox when the problem first started, then re-installed it. Still cannot find profile. I went through the Profile Manager Wizard, but that didn't work. It couldn't find the program. I'm not on firefox now since it won't load.

Cannot find symbol even though it's there.

I am having an issue compiling a java class in oracle. I have a java class that will run an executable. I want to call that java class from a difference class and when I try to compile that class, it fails with Cannot Find Symbol.
This is what errors, and it errocs when I declare ec as ExecCMD.

I upgrade from SP1 CU3 to R2 and since then I can not display images, I get the error:

just finished restart after applying the operating system. I installed all the updates, I delete and add the pxe point and nothing. The fact is that I have other tasks to capture using the same step and works fine. The hardware is a Virtual Machine

There is a workaround:
Wait until you get to the point where you select the task sequence
Hit “F8” to open the command prompt
Type “diskpart” and hit return
Type “select disk 0” and hit return
Type “list volume” and see if the CD/DVD drive has a drive letter of C:\ or D:\. If it does move to step 6, otherwise close the command prompt and begin the staging otherwise.
Type “select volume X” (where X is the volume number of the CD/DVD drive) and hit return
Type “assign letter=e” and hit return (if the E:\ is already taken up use the next available letter)
Type “list volume” and hit return to ensure the new drive letter is active
Close down the command prompt and begin staging

Cannot find flash player 10 after install: xp pro, IE6, SP2

I have been trying for a week to install Flash Player 10 to no avail. I uninstall and reinstall every time. I have XP Professional Media version, IE6, ans SP2. After install, from which I get no errors and a successful install message, I search for flash player and cannot find it anywhere on my C drive. Any ideas? Is there still a problem with trying to install with IE? Thanks for your help and support.

Flash Player is a browser plugin, not an installed application. It's not designed to work as a standalone app for opening FLV or SWF. It's designed to play SWF content inside a web page inside your browser.
Now, if you must open local content then you can either open those using File: Open in your browser, or you can get the FLash Player 10 Standalone player from the archived players technote here: kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html

Cannot find right display driver after GPU replacement on Satellite P200

I received my Notebook yesterday from the service center, because my graphic card was damaged.
Now I can start the notebook, but in the hardware manager is only an entry for the VGA Card, the new card, which should be in the Notebook, the manager cannot find.
I tried to find it with plug and play but without any results.
The system find only the VGA... After that I tried it with a catalytic driver from ATI 8.9. But after install it also don't work (I restarted the NB)
Maybe I use the wrong driver from ATI, but I cannot find an entry for Mobility Radeon 2600 HD.
Only Radeon 2600 Hd. I am not sure; did this driver work also for mobility?
Can you give me a link for the right driver?

First of all it would be interesting to know what notebook series you have.
Secondly are you sure that another graphic chip was used?
Are you sure that this is a Mobility Radeon 2600 HD graphic card?
If you are not 100% sure I would recommend contacting the technician who changed the GPU and to ask for some details; what GPU chip was used and where to get the driver.
I would appreciate some feedback from you!

ITunes cannot find files even though the path is correct in Preferences

Hello: I have a problem that is not addressed in any support article.
When I click to play a song in iTunes, I get the message that iTunes cannot find the original file.
When I check Preferences > Advanced > iTunes folder locations, I see all of my files there, but iTunes does not.
I have reset, consolodated the library, and performed all tasks noted in the support articles. Still no luck.
Can anyone help?

I had the same thing happen and have been pulling my hair out about this for a week now. Finally today I hit on a fix that worked for me and I hope it works for you.
For this to work, you need a backup of the last saved iTunes Library file.
First, follow directions about locating your iTunes music folder. In prefs>advanced choose your location and make sure that is right.
Locate your last saved iTunes Library file (the one that was working before things went haywire with the !'s everywhere). Also locate the iTunes prefs file in ~/library/prefs. For me, these were part of a Backup, so I selected "restore" ONLY THESE particular files from my last backup. When prompted to replace existing files, I said YES.
After backup ran, restoring the old Library and replacing the corrupted one, I relaunched iTunes and VOILA. All files were now correctly linked.
This left one last task, re-importing all songs I'd imported since that previous backup. To find these, I sorted my music folder by date modified and checked the most recent songs against the most recent in my Library. (sort your iTunes LIbrary by "Date Added", which you can add manually if it's not part of your categories bar.

Cannot find dashboard and reports after upgrading rdp from 10g to 11g OBIEE

Hi all
I am trying to upgrade from OBIEE 10g to 11g. These two products are installed on different servers. I have followed the guide: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2011/11-jul/o41bi-402913.html and everything seems to work fine.
So i have taken a copy of rdp from the server where was installed OBIEE 10g and took it in the server where OBIEE 11g is installed.
Ran the upgrade tool and upgrade finished successfully. Restarted the BI Servers in core application on Enterprise Manager.
Now when i access the upgraded rpd, the layers and the fields are fine but I cannot find all the reports and dashboards that i had created.
Am I missing any upgrade steps?

Thanks a lot for the information. First of all I would like to inform you that upgrade CANNOT be performed across two machine. So, if 10g installation is on Host A, then upgrade to 11g will be on Host A.
So, in your scenario this is what you can do:
1. On Host A running Forms/Discoverer 10g on Windows 2003, install Forms/Discoverer/Reports 11g (11.1.1.6.0)
2. Run the upgrade Assistant to perform the upgrade from 10g to 11g.
3. Now upgrade OS of Host A to Windows 2008
In short, I would like to inform you that upgrades across machines does not work. Source instance which is 10g and destination instance which is 11g must exist on same box.

I am trying to install a add-on that will enable Google to behave as if I am in the USA. When I try to install the add-on I get a message which says 'An engine with the same name already exists'. However, I can find no evidence of the add-on and I have been through the various troubleshooting routines. Anybody know of a way around this?
I have looked at the list of installed plugins and cannot see it. So whty does does FireFox think it's there?

It sounds like the Bing plugin might have been corrupted. I would bet that it's still installed, but not working. Try removing it from the \searchplugins\ folder in your [http://support.mozilla.com/en-us/kb/Profiles#How_to_find_your_profile profile folder].
I'd close and restart everything after you are done, then try installing it again.

I cannot find my audio books after iTunes 12 update

     I updated to 12 - previously I had audio books in iTunes and was able to select that category to see and listen to them, place them in playlists, move to iPod, etc. Now I can't even find them. How can I fix this?

     I found answer to this question. Select books in menu, then audiobooks appears as a choice on the left - and they appear as before.

Cannot find any Adapter folder after soa 10.1.3.1 installation

I did Advanced Installation with 10.2.0.3 Oracle Db, and selected "J2EE Server, Web Server and SOA Suite" type.
I could not find DbAdapter nor FtpAdapter nor FileAdapter nor AQAdapter nor other adapter after a successful Vista SOA 10.1.3.1 and upgrade 10.1.3.4 installations. I did a search in SOA_HOME, still could not find them.
