UK prices too high!

I have used a money converter and i have found out that iPhone's in the UK would cost £64 if the US price was translated. Why are apple charging us so much for this but for the ipad they are charing roughly the same? Thanks for reading.

VAT is not a main reason for a $300-$400 difference in price. The advertised price in the U.S. is AT&T's subsidized or discounted price - $199/$299 plus applicable sales tax. AT&T's no-contract or no commitment price is $400 more - $$599/$699 plus applicable sales tax, but the iPhone is not officially unlocked.
The main reason is subsidized or discounted by a carrier with signing a long term contract for the discount provided by the carrier - which is available with at least one carrier in the UK if not all vs being sold at the full retail sales price without a contract and/or as officially unlocked which is the most expensive since no discount is provided by the carrier and there is no contract.
Yes it does cost more to do business in Europe - that is what you get with socialism which the idiots running our government at the present time who will be run out this fall so we can get back to the center are trying to inflict upon us here even thought the majority are not interested in it.

Price too low - Invoice is not blocked...

Dear,
Probably you all know that invoices can be automatically blocked for payment based on the tolerances set up in customizing. When the price is too high, the system acts like expected, but when the price is too low, we don't get the preferred result. You get a warning message, but no payment block. It would be nice if the invoices with a "price too low" are blocked too.
We don't like to park them, because we work with a scanning procedure, so all invoices have to be posted immediately in the finance department, otherwhise it's very difficult to follow - up...
The purchasing and stock department are solving all the issues (qty and price differences) based on the list in MRBR. If the invoices with incorrect contracts are not in the list, this can give some problems. I've asked the finance people to block the invoices with a lower price manually, but for them this way of working is a little bit annoying...
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Is there a BADI or user exit (or customizing parameter)?

Please note the following:
The system will check the lower tolerance limit but an invoice will
never be blocked if the LOWER limit is exceeded. The system will only
display a warning message. In the standard system invoices will only be
blocked if the UPPER limit is exceeded because normally one wants to
prevent to pay more than expected.
In SAP Library: MM-Invoice with Variances-Tolerances you will also
find the following explanation:
".. If the variance is outside the tolerance limit, the system displays
this in a warning message. If you do not adjust your entries, you can
still post the invoice. If, however, the upper tolerance limit is
exceeded, the system automatically blocks the invoice for payment."
If this is an issue, message M8084 and M8085 can be customized as
error messages, as a work around. Please transaction OMRM
(spro -> materials management -> logistics invoice verification ->
Define attributes of system messages here you can set message 084 to
error)
You may also want to see the user exit exit_saplkont_002,
enhancement MM08R002 for blocking.

Error message Translational currency is too high when posting GR for a PO

Hi,
I am trying to post a GR for a PO,with document currency say in GBP and local currency in EUR,when i tried to post a GR the system gives the message with-"Translational currency is too high" and also the value updated for previous GRs(for a qty 10) is vary high like 37,056,361,610.68 GBP,just i want to know how this value is picked by the system,i know exhange rate table maintained is plays important role,but the value i am getting is too high which is not at all related with rates we maintained in the table TCURR.
I want to know why system is giving such a high value.
further PO quantity is 17,000 and net price is 1 GBP.
we have posted very sucessfull GR earlier,but now this high value and error in GR we are facing.

Apple TV movies priced too high

Dear apple,
I didn't rent movies at $4.99. Now I see they are $5.99. When will you wake up and realize those prices are too high.

Charges are just too high.

My bill is absolutely too high. I have 2 TV's w/2 boxes & 1 laptop using wifi. I am going to have to call Comcast today & drop the cable TV service. I want to keep the internet. 75 years old w/pancreatic cancer. Medical bills coming out of my ears. Can't afford this & do not understand why you are charging so much. I love the service just can't afford it. Wonder how a lot of people do? Always I am quoted a certain $ amount & it creeps up & up! Thanks

This is the first time I have complained about my charges. Received response from Comcast quoting a significant savings. I hope they hold true to what they quoted. I am sorry you didn't have good luck with what you were told. Doesn't sound good at all. I appreciate their offering to do this & really hope they stick to what was quoted. Error Rounding Difference too high when reset cleared document using FBRA

My Client has posted cleared document with T_Code F-51. This cleared document has cleared 6040 open items.
And now, they want to reset and reverse that cleared document.
We found error "Rounding difference too high" when we are reset cleared document using FBRA.
Kindly need your advice.

When I print business cards, they sometimes print 1/4 too high but not always.

I have my business cards in a Word document using an Avery template. I have used the same file for years. I never had a problem with my Canon printer but after buying an HP Photosmart D110 I have had nothing but problems. When I print then they print about 1/4 inch too high ruining the cardstock and wasting ink. This doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes I print and they are perfect but when I go back and print another, the problem returns. This is the same card stock I have used for years and when it is inserted in the printer it doesn't matter if it is a single page or a stack of them. I have tried previewing the page before printing and the alignment is correct. I've tried printing to a PDF and then printing the PDF, same problem. I try it on the Canon and no problem. Only reason I bought this in the first place was the cartridges were cheaper and I do a lot of color printing and scanning! I have just replaced the cartridges and did a head alignment so that is not the problem. I have tried it with regular paper and the problem persists. I'm ready to drop kick this thing and buy another Canon!

Did you ever find a solution for this problem? I have no problem printing the business cards out on a Canon printer, or a different HP printer I used to have, but the D110 is nothing but a pain in the you know what ! I'm using publisher and the avery 8371 card stock, I searched solutions for days and did everything possible but still they're not printing correctly!! I'm dissapointed in this printer, every time I have a problem with something it always seems to be an HP product!!! Very frustrating because I never had to mess with any settings in the other printers I had, I would just put the file in, change the quality and click the print button with no problems. I'm ready to throw this printer out the window Anyway thanks in advance and I hope somebody can help me with this issue !!!

I have a macbook pro OS 10.5.8. I've sync'ed it with an iPad 2. I would like to access the "cloud" but it seems my Leopard isn't sufficient. How high an OS upgrade would i need to use cloud? Most of my current apps wouldn't work with a too high upgrade.

Define "access the cloud". I can access my iCloud.com account on my 5 year old iMac at work running OS X 10.4.11 Tiger. I can download and upload Word documents and Pages documents in the iWorks section of my iCloud.com account.
What do you want to access in "the cloud"?
Snow Leopard would be your next system upgrade and you should be OK with the CS3 applications, and Office 2008. I cannot confirm that the other applications will work.
This is quite old, but take a look or Google the other applications to see if they are compatible with SL.

IMac Hard Drive expectations, Are mine too high?

Hey everyone.
I have a 27" iMac i5. Its around 22 months old now and its being used as a personal PC at home.
Lately, I have been experiencing HDD related issues, It hangs, load times are poor, OS takes ages to boot (windows and OSX)
I backed up all my data to external drives and did a clean OS restore to Lion. No help, first boot with the OS was just as bad as a boot full of clutter. Loading Windows on the win partition also sometimes gives me the "cannot find OS boot disk" error which is scary.
Anyway's doing research its all sure tell-tale signs of a failing HDD and ironically last night on my Win7 partition, I got the windows error message saying my "windows detected a hard disk problem, back up all data and contact your manufacture".
Now, back on topic. Is this reasonable? a $2000+ computer suffering from a hardware fault like this when the HDD has never had more than 30% of the 1TB used in its life? (everything I keep backed up on externals.)
I was honestly expecting a few more years out of this, **** even my 5 year old Macbook has never had an issue in its life and its been bagged around more places I can think of in its lifetime. How does a computer that sits on a desk suffer for a hardware failure such as this?
From day one, I had a faulty power board inside, it caused a loud electronic buzzing noise. I did not get this fixed for aroun 9 months as tbh, it sounded normal but in the last month leading upto the replacement, it got much louder over a few days. This was replaced by Apple and I was sent on my way happy it was fixed. could this have caused something to overload?
I am a little bit bitter which I am sure you can understand, but was my expectation of this hard drive just too high? or am I in my right to be a little upset by this?
And before anyone askes, I was OS when my warranty ran out, my Macbook, iPad 3XiPhones and Mac Mini are all covered by their own Apple Care. the only thing that isnt is the iMac.. just my luck!

Just got off the phone to Applecare.
they confirmed my drive is faulty. Im just a little upset it died like this. I have never had a drive fail before. Id rather my externals go than the internal.
Spoke to Apple, they said that he spoke to his Tech Specalist and they would not offer a free replacement. I agree is its 10 months out of warranty, but even the Apple rep I was speaking too said he would not be impressed either if it was his personal computer
Oh well. Time to look at HDD Upgrade options! Not that I am totally impressed about it.

I'm not on Windows now, but the Windows dialog box is similar to the Mac Print dialog box.
You can see under Comments there is a Page scaling dialog box. Click on the drop down menu and switch from None to Shrink to Printable Area.

I'm using macbook pro retina 13inch 2013 late version.
my macbook has NO external graphic card, just iris graphic.
when i was playing diablo3 or watching movie by using bypass ip address, my cpu temperature was maintained 90~100 celcius degrees.
And at the same time, my cooling fan was maintained 5800~6000 rpm.
There are two questions.
One, is my macbook temperature too high or normal level ?
Two, i know that 6200rpm is maximum speed of cooling fan. Why did fan run 5800~6000rpm, not maximum?

When processor intensive activities are taking place, temperature may reach the maximum level.

Warning Message - Tracknumber of CEvLaunch too high! Help?

I am attempting to import a midi file I found online into GarageBand 09 but I get the following pop up

I'm not really too sure what this means? Does it maybe mean the volume is too high? Or there are too many tracks for Garageband to cope with?
When I click OK a few times on the pop up it then pops up
*Launch Event without associated track found!*
*Changed to track 1.*
I then have only 3 tracks for this song when I know there are many more.
I want to be able to hear and use all of the tracks form this midi file in GarageBand 09.
FYI when I play the midi file with Quicktime 7 it sounds fine, with all the tracks being audible.

Imported it to GarageBand and it worked with no errors (although the instruments are way off)

Stereo audio causes "Video Bitrate too High" error

SOS, Whizzkids.
I try to make a build of a DVD with 1 menu and 3 tracks. , and I get an error message "Video Bitrate Too High." I check the compression setting and they're set to factory default for SD 4by3. (4 and 7 MB).
Get this: I delete one channel of audio from each of the 3 tracks and it compiles perfectly.
I duplicate audio channel 1 by option-dragging to channel 2 for one track, recompile and get the same error.
I give in. Wassup?

Did you convert your audio to AC-3 (Dolby Digital)?
If not, this is the likely cause of your problem. Run your audio through A.Pack (if using DVDSP 3 or earlier) or Compressor 2 (if using DVDSP 4). The "Dolby 2.0" presets in Compressor 2 are the Dolby Digital, but it's recommended to change the following settings and make a new preset.
Set dialog normalization to -31 and the Compression Preset to "None". They default to -27 and "Film Standard", respectively.

Too high bitrate (not as it looks)

I have one huge problem with the latest DVD Studio Pro and I need your help.
I have a 15 minute and 3 minute video and I need to build a simple DVD. Here's a scheme:

15 minute is "Final Composition" and 3 minute is "Additional Scenes". It would be SD DVD. I'm using export of raw miniDV camera footage from Final Cut Pro, using Apple ProRes 422 DV 48 KHz and file format MOV.
About two days earlier it was all right – I've linked all files and build the DVD, but yesterday I've needed to change one scene. Then I tried to build it again, but it still says error caused by too high bit rate. Why? Before two days was the same bit rate (QT says it's about 40 Mbps), the same footage, the same export, the same length... and everything was good.
I've tried also other bitrate (from 7 to 20), other codecs (DV, DVC PRO, ...), but without any success. Restarted program, restarted Mac, gave it a break, but still nothing.
Can you please help me solve this out? I will be glad and thankful (it's a year school project work = very important). Thank you very much!

Encode all your video via Compressor to m2v and make the audio AC3 and bring those assets into DVD SP (when you changed the scene perhaps the rate went too high.) Also FWIW 7 - 20 can be high (well over 8 is going to give you issues and 20 is HD realm not SD)

F110 - not able to make the payment error - Check amts -ex rate is too high

While running F110 Iam getting the below error. The proposal runs fine. When I run the payment run the status shows "Payment run has been carried out" but no document has been generated. The log says-
