Unable to access Archived data with an ABAP Query

I have an ABAP Query that uses Logical Database KDF (Vendor) for reporting.
KDF is Archive Enabled and I can access archived document via SAP standard programs that used the KDF Logical Database.
the query appears accessing the data but nothing shows on the report.
Has anyone successfully written and ABAP query and included access to the Archived data?
Any help is appreciated.

I've tried to use CL_ABAP_GZIP and CL_ABAP_UNGZIP_BINARY_STREAM and I'm getting the same error 30 at the IctDecompressStream function.

Ok if disk utility was able to verify the drive I doubt there is any problem.. are you trying to open a TM backup??
You need to mount the sparsebundle then check the actual info inside the bundle.
Don't use disk warrior.. if the disk has verified then unless you deliberately deleted files there is nothing that is going to do.

But if you have copied info to the TC that is now gone.. and the disk is ok.. I am not sure.. the TC will not have deleted the files itself.

You need to set up a Personal Hotspot account with your cell carrier for your iPhone. Once it is activated you can turn it on in Settings on your iPhone then connect your iPad either via Bluetooth or WiFi. I would recommend WiFi. The BT on the iPad can be used for tethering.

Since 2-3 days the data refresh is failing on our PowerBI site. I checked below:
1. The gateway is in running status.
2. Data source is also in ready status and test connection worked fine too.
3. Below is the error in System Health -
Failed to refresh the data source. An internal service error has occurred. Retry the operation at a later time. If the problem persists, contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
Error code: 4025
4. Below is the error in Event Viewer.
Unable to access the data from Data Management Gateway: Query timeout expired. Please check 1) whether the data source is available 2) whether the gateway on-premises service is running using Windows Event Logs.

Never mind, figured out there was a lock on SQL table which caused all the problems. Once I released the lock it PowerPivot refresh started working fine.

i am using 10g.I have one problem like i unable to get the table access with out mention prefix for that table.
but i created public synonym and gave all grants to all users also. but still i need to mention schema name as prefix otherwise it give the error..
can any body tell me reason and give me solution.

connect to: egps schema
in this position if i try with eiis.wipstock it gives error but if i mention like eiis.wiis_wipstock then its working fine.

Accessing shape data with actionscript

I'm wondering, is it possible to access shape data with
actionscript. I want to draw simple lines with "line tool"
somewhere in my movieclip and then to access information about my
lines with actionscript to get startX, startY and endX endY of
every line. Is it possible?

I do not believe so. Once you draw a primitive on the stage
with the api I believe that is all you get. If you create a sprite
object and then draw into that you might be able to get the sprite
properties. You may also be able to do the same thing with a
container movieclip. I don't think just drawing a line with the api
on the stage will give you anything the reference.

Now unable to access infocube(keyfigure model) data in multi area. Here my taget cube is based on account model.

I'm already using standard area SPROPLAN in another multi-area, in that multi-area consists of 2 cubes both are based on key figure model only and correctly able to access the data for that application requirement, but here i'm not able to access SPROPLAN cube's data. I checked with different combinations. Any suggestions....

Best way to access Archive data

Hello,
I need to change few customized reports (z-reports) to make it fetch data from IXOS server.
This is done for SAP IS-H reports. So some of the tables for eg NBEW(movement table) will be archived and a correspoding
infostructre will be created acting as an indice to archive database.So my query is what is the correct approach to read the data from the IXOS server.
1. Query the infostructure . Change each select statement to make it read from the infostruture which points to IXOS
2. Directly read files using unix commands.
When we use option 1 or 2 what are the benefits ? which is better?
Some times may need to query both sap databse and IXOS, if the date range overlaps So what are the performance impacts.
Any ideas is highly appreciated.

I would suggest to use the option 1, to query the infostructure.
With this you can access the data fast as the system would've generated indexes with the archived data.
Directly querying unix files might not be that good, as you need to identify the proper indexes to fetch the data, whcih we might not do so accurately at times.

Unable to Access Web Site (with same name) outside of Local Network

Hi everyone,
I have my web site (and some other services) hosted outside of my network by my hosting provider, but handle all other items using OS X Server on my network (i.e. Wiki and so forth).
The problem is now that I am unable to access my website at www.mydomain.com from within the network. I have external DNS set up for www.mydomain.com to point to my website, while mydomain.com points to my OS X Server (static IP address). Internally in OS X Server's DNS settings this used to work when I had www.mydomain.com resolving to the IP address of my web host, in addition to the default domain settings that OS X had set up. For some reason this is no longer working, and I am unable to figure out why.
Using latest version of OS X Server 3.0.2.

Update: this ended up being a redirect issue on the web host. I added another subdomain that was hosted externally, and it worked fine. For some reason my web host is redirecting www.mydomain.com to domain.com.

I am in Texas and cannot get to that site either. Do you know for sure the site is up and working? It could just be down (for days, a site I support was down for almost 4 full days a few weeks ago due to a virus problem).
This may (again, may) be your problem: I see you have a173.48.x.x (you really should x-out the last two octets of your IP address for privacy reasons), I am on a 173.74.x.x address; I know some people have had problems with getting to some sites now that they have a 173.x.x.x address. I think Verizon obtained addresses in that range and some of the addresses apparently previously belonged to spammers or some malicious folks.Some sites (web sites, intermeidate routers, etc.) blocked those addresses, and may not have updated their filters to remove the block on those addresses because they don't know that Verizon now owns them. If this is the problem, eventually those filters will get updated and you will be able to access the site, but this could be a fairly long time.
If you know how to contact that site I suggest you email them about the problem. You can also try turning off your router overnight and when you turn it back on the next day you may find that you have a different address (one that doesn't start with 173) that will allow you to get to the site.
I don't think there is much Verizon can do to help, it is not their site that is blocking your address (at least I don't think it is).

Unable to access wireless connection with linksys rooter WRT54GS

Hi,
I just installed a wireless rooter Linksys WRT54GS on my connection, The problem I have is being able to access it with my wireless on my laptop.
I kept getting a message stating "connection unindentified" "access limited". I've done most of what is already suggested on your forum such has turning the power off of my rooter, my modem and such and still nothing. I'm able to access the wireless with my girlfriend Mac Notebook, my playstation 3 and my desktop computer which uses Windows X. First I thought that it my be a problem with my security but even when the connection is unprotected I still get that error. I try to disable the IpV6but that didn'tdo anything either.
My laptop is a Toshiba Qosmio X300 PQX32C-033019 with Vista and my rooter is a Linksys WRT54GS vers. 6

Try this -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...
Leave username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
For Wireless Settings, please do the following : -
Click on the Wireless tab
- Here select manual configuration...Wireless Network mode should be mixed...
- Provide a unique name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box in order to differentiate your network from your neighbours network...
- Set the Radio Band to Standard-20MHz and change the Standard channel to 11-2.462GHz...Wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on Save Settings...
Please make a note of Wireless Network Name (SSID) as this is the Network Identifier...
For Wireless Security : -
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WEP, Encryption should be 64 bit.Leave the passphrase blank, don't type in anything...
Under WEP Key 1 type in any 10 numbers please(numbers only and no letters eg: your 10 digit phone number) and click on save settings...
Please make a note of WEP Key 1 as this is the Security Key for the Wireless Network...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75 >>Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 >>Click on "Save Settings"...
On your Vista Laptop, first disable the Wireless Network Connection and restart the Laptop, then Enable the Wireless Connection...
Then Click on Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Sharing Center >> Manage Wireless Network and click on Add, select Manually Create a Network Profile and click Next, enter your Network SSID/Network Name, select WEP for Security type and enter your 10 digit Network Key and click on Next, it should say "Successfully Connected to ____" close all the Windows and restart the Laptop, now see if you can connect to Internet Wirelessly...

Users are unable to access Essbase data-corrupt group

Someone moved a hyperion user to an ldap directory group that hyperion couldn't access which seems to have corrupted the group to which the ID belongs. I got rid of the ID but the users are still experiencing problems accessing essbase data. We have 9.3.1 and I have refreshed security filters and recycled many times. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I reimport the secfile.txt?

How to access .dmp data with the Instant Client?

I'm a total beginner, and am trying to access a .Dmp database. I have installed (on Linux i386):
Instant Client Basic 11.2 + SDK + SQLPlus
I'm aware that I have to further set the environment variables ORACLE_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and think I know how it should be done.
The files installed in the oracle directory are as follows:
$ ls /usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client/lib
glogin.sql libocci.so libsqlplusic.so ottclasses.zip
libclntsh.so libocci.so.11.1 libsqlplus.so xstreams.jar
libclntsh.so.11.1 libociei.so ojdbc5.jar
libnnz11.so libocijdbc11.so ojdbc6.jar
$ ls /usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client/bin
adrci genezi sqlplus
But this is where I hit the wall. Just a couple of questions:
How do I make the Client to access the data? I've read a bit about name resolution such as tnsnames.ora and EZConnect, but have no idea what these are, even conceptually.
How do I actually start/configure the Oracle client? Is there an executable somewhere?
Can the .dmp file be even read by the client or do I have to use the SQLPlus to make queries (as I've read somewhere)?
As you see I'm clueless. What are the next steps, or could you point me to a practical tutorial that would show what I need to do.

If you have a database, you have all of those utilities. If you don't have a database, no third party equivalent to those utilities (if such existed) would be of any value.
Depending on your database version, the .dmp file could have been created with either 'exp' (export) or 'expdp' (datapump). Unfortunately, by default both utilities produce a file with the .dmp extension, but they are different formats and not interchangeable. You will need to find out exactly how the .dmp file was created. Actually, you need to find out the entire command used to create it, not just which utility, because the options used at export time will affect what options are available and desirable at import time.

Click on the AppStore application on iPhone. Click FEATURED. Scroll to the bottom of the screen. Click on your AppleID. In the Menu sign out then sign back in.
If this doesnt work, repeat the above; when you get to the menu after clicking on your appleID in the app store click, VIEW APPLE ID. Once you do that you should be able to change the store in the country/region settings.
