Well, i faced this error "unable to cache" once before and the reason was that jar files which need to be cached at client side had not timestamp assigned to them on my linux system where application server was installed, the reason which i came to know was that i coppied them from a windows system. To resolve this problem at that time, i coppied them on my linux server and then pasted again there and this time my linux server generated TIMESTAMP for my those files and it started working fine.
This time i really didnt know what happend but now i am gona tell you a strange story. If i use http://rg:1810 (in firefox browser) i can see admin page of my application server control and if i use http://rg.lhr.systemsltd.com:1810, it displays error "Time out ouucred......" (This kind of error).
But inter explorer doesn't report any error and works fine.
now in my error message you can see that first APPLET goes to "http://rg.lhr.systemsltd.com:7779/forms90/java/webutil.jar" to cache the file and as this is using a fully qualified name of my server so it is unable to find that server as MOZILA did and returned connection time out type of error message.
Now i changed the server name and then did a fresh installation and it started working fine. It means there is some problem with my DNS which is causing application applet could not find files if fully qualified name of server is used.

  • Bridge Unable to Cache Ai Files

    I have hit a problem with Bridge CC (6.0.1.6) freezing when I selected a folder containing both Illustrator CC (17.1.0) .ai and exported .png files.  Bridge would report that it was 'Building Criteria' and the spinning circle would be active in the bottom left corner.  It would sit like this for hours despite the folder only containing a dozen files. The only why to recover the situtation in to force quit Bridge; the Force Quit dialog DID NOT report that Bridge was not responding.
    I have this morning used Finder to separate the .ai and .png into separate folders.  After this Bridge was able to access and cache both folders without problem or delay.

  • WARNING: Unable to cache frmrwinteg.jar

    I am seeing this warning message in my Java console. I am running 10g Forms and Reports. Here is my current dilemma - I am able to download 3rd party forms to a local drive, modify them, save and compile them, and then have my changes show up when I run the web application that launches the forms. However, when I try to do the same with a report that gets launched from the same application, my changes don't show up. All of my FORMS90_PATH and REPORTS_PATH variables point to the same location on my computer (whether they be in config files or the registry) but only the forms changes show up. My compiled forms and reports are stored in the same location on my computer. Why are my REPORTS_PATH variables being ignored? Has anyone encountered this problem before? I was hoping the warning message above has something to do with the problem. I'm willing to take any advice at the moment. Thank you.

    Its okay now!
    I got the solution.
    Just increase the keepalive_timeout in the $ORACLE_HOME/webcache/webcache.xml and restart the server.

  • Classloader caching in signed applet is very slow and weird

    I have a signed applet running in the 1.4.1_01 plugin environment, and
    I'm getting the following kinds of messages when I use debug mode 5 in the console:
    Connecting http:[myserver]/someclass.class with no proxy
    Connecting http:[myserver]/someclass.class with cookie "JSESSIONID=..."
    Sometimes, the classloader will say:
    WARNING: Unable to cache someclass.class
    Moreover, some classes will be repeated two or three times, as if the classloader is trying to get the same class two or three times.
    Some of these classes are even in the java.lang package!!
    The thing is, I'm actually trying to get the applet to use webservices, so I've signed the Apache Axis jar files (about 8 or so) and included them in the "cache_archive" parameter. The classes giving problems are from these archives, not from my main applet jar.
    The applet will eventually work, but the first time takes a LONG time to initialize because the classloader is trying to verify all the classes (i think). Subsequent runnings of the applet within the same browser will be much faster, but the same thing will happen if I start a new browser instance.
    My questions are:
    1) Why is the classloader trying to load from my http server rather than from the local jars? (they seem to be statically cached, I checked the plugin control panel)
    2) Why is the classloader reloading the same classes multiple times?
    3) Is the classloader verifying the signatures for each class, because it's taking a long time due to very many classes (100's).
    I can't seem to find ANY documentation for this at Sun or Google.
    Please help if you can!
    Andrew

    I've got the same problem with applet using SOAP based on jwsdp.
    But classloader only try to get classes from server that are used in SOAP calls.
    The only workaround I found is to move this classes to root package, but still there are problems with
    Connecting http://<host>/int.class with no proxy
    Connecting http://<host>/int.class with no proxy
    WARNING: Unable to cache http://<host>/int.class
    requests.
    Maybe this is a bug of Sun SOAP implementation?

  • Since applying Feb 2013 Sharepoint 2010 CUs - Critical event log entries for Blob cache and missing images

    Hi,
    Since applying the February 2013 SharePoint 2010 updates, we are getting lots of entries in our event logs along the following:
    Content Management     Publishing Cache
    5538     Critical
    An error occurred in the blob cache.  The exception message was 'The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)’
    In pretty much all of these cases the image/ file in question that is reported in the ULS logs as missing is not actually in the collaboration site, master page / html etc so the fix needs to go back to the site owner to make the correction to avoid
    the 404 (if they make it!). This has only started happening, I believe since feb 2013 sp2010 cumulative updates updates
    I didn’t see this mentioned as a change / in the Fix list of the February updates. i.e. it flags up a critical error in our event logs. So with a lot of sites and a lot of missing images your event log can quickly fill up.
    Obviously you can suppress them in the monitoring -> web content management ->publishing cache = none & none which is not ideal.
    So my question is... are others seeing this and was a change made by Microsoft to flag a 404 missing image / file up a critical error in event log when blob cache is enabled?
    If i log this with MS they will just say, you need to fix it up the missing files in the site but would be nice to know this had changed prior! I also deleted and recreated the blob cache and this made no diffference
    thanks
    Brad

    I'm facing the same error on our SharePoint 2013 farm. We are on Aug 2013 CU and if the Dec CU (which is supposed to be the latest) doesn't solve it then what else could be done.
    Some users started getting the message "Server is busy now try again later" with a corelation id. I looked up ULS with that corelation id and found these two errors in addition to hundreds of "Micro Trace Tags (none)" and "forced
    due to logging gap":
    "GetFileFromUrl: FileNotFoundException when attempting get file Url /favicon.ico The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)"
    "Error in blob cache. System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)"
    "Unable to cache URL /FAVICON.ICO.  File was not found"
    Looks like this is a bug and MS hasn't fixed it in Dec CU..

    Thanks!

    Hi Remco!
    I have found what caused this problem. The browser proxy settings had to be adjusted to be skipped when using the URL for the application server.

  • WebUtil Error

    I have Form that I have been running on my computer using the Developer suite. I recently added the Webutil library to try and access the local machine. This worked on my own machine when testing. Then I copied the files over to our AppServer, and when I run the program from my computer I get this error when I call "client_host('cmd');" from a button:
    WUC-015: Your Form must contain the following Bean for this
    function to be available:
    oracle.forms.webutil.host.Host
    I have the exact same config file on the Appserver as my own machine. Anyone know where I can start to look for the problem??

    webUtilArchive=/forms90/webutil/webutil.jar,/forms90/webutil/jacob.jar
    This is what is in my config file on the appserver. And I think this is causing the problem... The log is as follows:
    (let me point out that I did not make any changes to the orion-web.xml file like I did in my DS box. I could not find the correct file to make changes to on the AS box. I did a search and there are about 20 of them, which one do you change?).

  • JTable in Form

    Dear friends
    I searched how can I make a gride (like excel gride) in oracle form and I'll have the followin control : sort on column , resize column and move column between eachother, then I read I must use JTable with Bean Area in oracle form( I'm not sure is it correct or not), But I couldn't find how I can do it.
    If I can do it with JTable and Bean Area please tell me step by step the method.
    Thanks alot

    I don't know how to run java console, but on the form I get When New Record Instance from the beginning of form running.Nothing else.
    Where is the Java console? How can I run it?
    When I run the form and try to open sun java console from internet explorer, explorer closes.
    While form is running before update I opened java.exe, it closes also.

  • Java Servlet/Linux issues

    Hi-
    I use an applet that works fine on Windows but fails on Linux. It stops
    on the 'Loading Applet' screen. I've tested it in Mozilla, Netscape and
    KConqueror, all with the same result. I'm guessing it has something to
    do with the applet making an external socket connection. Strange thing
    is I have set the logging to level 5 and see no exceptions.
    Below are the Java log traces between Windows and Linux.
    Any ideas! I have noticed that many people are having this problem on
    Linux without any resolution.

  • Spatial Queries are CPU bound and show very heavy use of query buffers

    Hi,
    Spatial Queries:
    When using tkprof to analyse spatial queries it is clear that
    there are implicit queries being done by Oracle spatial which
    use vast amounts of buffers, and seem unable to cache basic
    information from query to query - thus resulting in our machine
    being CPU bound when stress testing Oracle Spatial, for example
    the example below shows how information which is fixed for a
    table and not likely to change very often is being retrieved
    inefficiently (note the 26729 query buffers being used to do 6
    executions of what should be immediately available!!!):

    Can Oracle improve the performance of Oracle spatial by
    improving the implementation so as to perform alternative
    implicit queries so as not to use these vast amounts of memory?
    Cheers
    Alex Eadie

    Hi Ravi,
    Thankyou for your reply.
    Here are some more details for you:
    Yes the queries are cached in that it gets its data from RAM and
    not from disk however the number of buffers used internally by
    Oracle RDBMS/Spatial is rather large and results in significant
    CPU usage (namely > 5000 per query or >40MByte). Which I'm sure
    you'd agree? Those numerous internal queries taking >10ms CPU
    time each, which is culmulative.
    A single real of ours query of will take between 180ms and 580ms
    depending on the number of results returned.
    An example query is:
    select a.id, a.geom
    from tile_med_lines_mbr a where sdo_relate
    (a.geom,mdsys.sdo_geometry
    (2003,NULL, NULL,mdsys.sdo_elem_info_array
    (1,1003,3),mdsys.sdo_ordinate_array(151.21121,
    -33.86325,151.21132,-33.863136)), 'mask=anyinteract
    querytype=WINDOW') = 'TRUE'
    Our 500Mhz PC Server database can only execute 3 processes
    running these queries simultaneously to go to 100% CPU loaded.
    The disk is hardly utilized.
    The data is the main roads in Sydney, Australia.
    The tables, data and indexes were created as shown below:
    1.     Create the Oracle tables:
    create table tile_med_nodes_mbr (
         id     number not null,
         geom     mdsys.sdo_geometry not null,
         xl     number not null,
         yl     number not null,
         xh     number not null,
         yh     number not null);
    create table tile_med_lines_mbr (
         id     number not null,
         fromid     number not null,
         toid     number not null,
         geom     mdsys.sdo_geometry not null,
         xl     number not null,
         yl     number not null,
         xh     number not null,
         yh     number not null);
    2.     Use the sqlldr Oracle loader utility to load the data
    into Oracle.
    % sqlldr userid=csiro_scats/demo control=nodes.ctl
    % sqlldr userid=csiro_scats/demo control=lines.ctl
    3.     Determine the covering spatial extent for the tile
    mosaic and use this to create the geometry metadata.
    % sqlplus
    SQLPLUS>     set numw 12
    SQLPLUS>     select min(xl), min(yl), max(xh), max(yh)
         from (select xl, yl, xh, yh
              from tile_med_nodes_mbr union
              select xl, yl, xh, yh
              from tile_med_lines_mbr);
    insert into USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA
         (TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME, DIMINFO)
         VALUES ('TILE_MED_NODES_MBR', 'GEOM',
         MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ARRAY
         (MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('X', 151.21093421,
                   151.21205421, 0.000000050),
         MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Y', -33.86347146,
                   -33.86234146, 0.000000050)));
    insert into USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA
         (TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME, DIMINFO)
         VALUES ('TILE_MED_LINES_MBR', 'GEOM',
         MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ARRAY
         (MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('X', 151.21093421,
                   151.21205421, 0.000000050),
         MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Y', -33.86347146,
                   -33.86234146, 0.000000050)));
    4.     Validate the data loaded:
    create table result
    (UNIQ_ID number, result varchar2(10));
    execute sdo_geom.validate_layer
    ('TILE_MED_NODES_MBR','GEOM','ID','RESULT');
    select result, count(result)
    from RESULT
    group by result;
    truncate table result;
    execute sdo_geom.validate_layer
    ('TILE_MED_LINES_MBR','GEOM','ID','RESULT');
    select result, count(result)
    from RESULT
    group by result;
    drop table result;
    5.     Fix any problems reported in the result table.
    6.     Create a spatial index, use the spatial index advisor to
    determine the sdo_level.
    create index tile_mlines_spind on
    tile_med_lines_mbr (geom) indextype is
    mdsys.spatial_index parameters
    ( 'sdo_level=7,initial=1M,next=1M,pctincrease=0');
    7.     Analyse table:
    analyze table TILE_MED_LINES_MBR compute statistics;
    8.     Find the spatial index table name:
    select sdo_index_table, sdo_column_name
    from user_sdo_index_metadata
    where sdo_index_name in
    (select index_name
    from user_indexes
    where ityp_name = 'SPATIAL_INDEX'
    and table_name = 'TILE_MED_LINES_MBR');
    9.     Analyse spatial index table:
    analyze table TILE_MLINES_SPIND_FL7$
    compute statistics;
    I hope this helps.
    Cheers
